This was a really good dive bar, went there for the Wednesday 1/2 price wings. This is also karaoke night and they had a pretty good turnout. Keep in mind smoking is allowed inside, it wasn't a big deal for me because that's how bars used to be back in the day; and almost everyone here smoked. Rented a pool table @ $10 an hour and drinks were super cheap. Basically 10 delicious wings and 2 beers for $12. They have a unique brew 420, should have known better but it is infused. This place might not be for everyone but I Iove wings and they were delicious.

I am a huge beer enthusiast and I like to be surprised. So I asked the bartender to select any beer of her choice. Assuming she would just select a generic brand... I was extremely wrong. She filled a quarter of the glass with Angry Orchard. I began to regret asking her to chose. She then grabbed a spoon, flipped it upside down and filled the remaining three fourths with Guinness. Even for a beer enthusiast who has tasted beers all around the world... I was surprised. But now... For the taste. It was AMAZING!!! Take it from me. This small town bartender knows her stuff, is polite and cute. Make the trip!

Oh man these chicken tenders are the s!!!! Super juicy, breaded in house

I excellent service. The steak was cooked just right. It is a pool hall with a huge bar. We went midday and were the only ones dining.

Despite a long wait, once we ordered we were told from the neighboring table that they had ordered their appetizer over 40 mins and still didn't receive anything after we had placed our order with food for our little children. Needless to say about 10 mins later the table waiting for almost an hour for an appetizer walked out and we followed suit.... Walking past the tables I noticed several menu choices in the plates and microwaved steamed veggies and overpriced $40 steak for the same quality you'd get at a chain is what I saw.... This shouldn't be labeled a steak house when there's only two or three cooks cooking supposedly Mediterranean, middle eastern, American food all on the same menu and small grill.....

I proceeded to tell Anthony that I'd come back when they opened in an hour or so. I'm so glad that I did. The decor was really pretty, the booth has high back seating , of which was spacious and comfy. "Gigi" was our server and she was amazing, professional and courteous! Now let's get into this food ! I ordered the 169z ribeye (medium) , and it was delicious. I can definitely appreciate when a restaurant gets my-medium steak cooked medium. The steak was juicy & flavorful ! My husband ordered the bison ribeye and it was soooo delicious ! I didn't know what to expect because I haven't had bison before but it far exceeded my expectations !

The food came excellent! Thank you to the kitchen!! We placed the order and the tuna steak came out excellent! However the burger was stupid raw!!!! I asked to not get another since our children had eaten their food already and they enjoyed it! Thank you once again to the kitchen!! The evening was beautiful, the restaurant was as quaint as you would expect!! The tuna was cooked PERFECT! Thank you to the kitchen staff!!! I asked for the check and paid it ....(despite the fact that the waiter disappeared for over 15 mins and I had to walk to the bar to ask for it!!) Left a tip and then proceeded to leave the restaurant and head to our car since both kids hadn't slept and it was past 8 pm (when I overheard the following...) Once again the server was kind and charismatic despite ignoring us in an empty restaurant where she had 3 tables when we arrived and two when we left. As we were walking out of the restaurant, the server, had the stones to show my signed check, with a 10% tip, as was warranted after ignoring us, serving me raw food and not coming back for along time.... (Sorry kitchen but the raw burger was on you for this one!) And she, had the gall to brag to another table of patrons, showing the receipt in my wife's face, that were taking away from her money, when she provided poor service!! I wouldn't dream of having her fired, hence the reason I'll never name her. " she might have had a bad day!", BUT I want her to learn a lesson about treating every customer with respect! My wife and kids didn't deserve a poor experience for our first time in your restaurant! Be kind. Be loving and understanding! Everyone can have hardships in life, as we all do, but if you're in this industry, be kind, be watchful and give a care about your job!! You never know the negative impact you can leave for fellow strangers, especially little children that enjoyed Harper's Ferry for the first time! Overall, the restaurant is excellent, food is excellent and the vibe is 8/10!

The bartender who initially helped me never came back, and I ended up waiting until 5:02 before flagging down someone else just to get my check. What made it feel off was that I seemed to be the only person of color at the bar, and while I was being overlooked, other guests were consistently being checked on and served. I can't say for sure what the reason was, but the difference in attention was noticeable. I had planned to order more (crab cakes and shepherd's pie), but after being ignored that long, I decided against it. Overall, a disappointing experience.

We agreed they were definitely worth the $30ish tab for 2 they would have been if we weren't guests of the inn. The dinner we had was good, but not amazing. There was only one choice available for the first two courses, and two for the main course. We don't eat pork so we both had scallops for dinner. The first two courses (a gazpacho and shrimp+grits kind of deal) were both good, but it was really the scallops that won us over; they were delicious. The cheese plate for dessert had 1 kind of cheese, and we were disappointed there were no dessert options involving chocolate. Overall, we had a nice meal, but didn't really think it warranted the $250 we spent.

This place is right on the property for an outdoor adventure park that does tubing in the winter and river tubing/ ropes courses/camp in the summer. Being in Harper's ferry and given the neighboring business this is a captive audience gold mine for a restaurant. Sadly, we came here on a Saturday and it was PAINFULLY obvious their service capabilities could not match the customer demand signal. We started at 4PM and they were about at 50% capacity (generously). You order your own food at the bar or via QR code. This is a standard practice so nothing wrong there, but it did take us about 10 minutes to then get our drinks. The food came out within 15 minutes. Food was descent if not a little on the expensive side. Beer was fairly priced. They don't have a super large menu and they were out of a handful of things. Like for one, being out of iced tea seemed like an easy fix from my perspective working in bar/restaurant management in the past. We went and enjoyed the Christmas lights and then went back in around 615PM for a nightcap. This is where things went off the rails. The inside was full the outter tables were 40-50% taken. Overall I would say 80% of a jam packed house. We ordered 2 Irish coffees and a beer. 25 minutes later I went in to check on our drinks and the patrons faces inside said it all. The couple at the bar had been waiting 30 minutes to pay their bill, one lady got up and left because people had come in after her, ordered the same thing, eaten, paid, and left before she got her food. They hadn't even started our drinks and when I went to the bathroom I could see the kitchen order display and half their tickets were lagging, badly. From what I could tell they had 3 people tending bar/running food plus other food runners. I don't know what the kitchen staffing was. This place should be KILLING it with how they are set up location/clientele wise but I can say for certain they will take a hit on return business tonight. This place has great potential and I hope for the owner's sake this was an off night. As a bartender/bar manager watching personnel work tempo, efficiency, etc... I was screaming inside.
