This is a great place. The bartender, Angela, was incredibly friendly and the drinks were great. Pricing was also really reasonable. We didn't eat anything because we just stopped in for a couple of drinks but based on what we experienced I would guess the food is probably good too. I would recommend a stop by here. It's in the pedestrian mall area so you do have to park and walk a little bit but there is a lot to do in the area so swing by.

Great music, great service, great drinks on a Saturday night! Came her after dinner to cap off our night and were so happy we did.

This is exactly what downtown needs for an adult atmosphere pub. Excellent service, knowledgeable bartender, awesome sides. Very willing to create a drink that my daughter asked for (and it turned out very well). Finally, a place to kick back with friends and family, have a couple of drinks and munchies and get treated like royalty by the staff. If you're a local and haven't been yet you are missing the latest and greatest.

Willie Sutton saloon has an awesomely nice atmosphere. Our waitress was awesome. Served our party of eight with efficiency. Beer + wine! A must visit in Winchester Virginia.

Their version of an old fashion was like a Sarah McLachlan SPCA commercial...very sad and made me want to donate a dollar.

They have live music sign on 2 Saturday in a row and no live music. It is very disappointing.

The portions were small but the food was tasty. The steak bites were tender and juicy but couldn't have been elevated with the addition of shaved Brussels or even served on a bed of spring mix. Likewise the Buffalo chicken flatbread that had perfect flavor and texture would have topped the charts with a simple addition of blue cheese crumbles. What is good food if executed with a little tweak could be food worth remembering. We also witnessed an unhappy table and a server unable to appease them - the entire situation left us feeling uncomfortable where if servers are trained how to deal with "Karen" customers the dining experience could be better for everyone. Three stars for our experience, this was a road trip visit, so the likelihood of a return visit is unlikely. Worth a visit for a drink or two even a quick bite but the food experience needs just a small umph to make it a 5* review

Maybe 12 people seated in the entire room. Took our seats... we were approached after 10 mins. Menus. Waited another 10 minutes. Bartender asks for our order. We ordered our food and he responded, "I wanted your drink order". Really?! Ordered four glasses of water and two apps. We asked for one app to be divided on two plates, bartender said "I'm not gonna do that. They're (kitchen) busy". We sucked down our food and water, asked for the check twice due to being on a time constraint. Dude never acknowledged. My husband finally stopped the bartender, asked for his name. "Brian/Bryan" while walking away. We left enough cash on the bar to cover our bill with a generous tip just so we could get out of there. Worse dining experience we've had an extremely long time. Bryan/Brian's attitude was nothing shy of being inconvenienced. Won't ever return!

I passed it twice. AND, the funniest part is you have to enter through the pizzeria, make a right, go through another door and then up the stairs. When we walked through the other door at the top of the stairs,, it was like walking into a disco. Funk/Disco music jamming in the background, disco ball... taking me back to my rollerblading days. It is a small venue with limited seating, but they do have a full menu including apps, salads and pizza. Everything you'd need to pair with your beer. Impressive! What was most exciting was the flights. THREE 8 oz. Pours for a whopping $12 bucks. Can you say, "Winning!" The BEER: Well... Ya Know Belgian Ale 6.8% ABV... it was a little more hoppy than I am used to in a Belgian, still quite good. Reminded me of Unholy by Coppertial Gen 2 Indian Pale Ale 7.4% ABV... a solid IPA, slightly hoppy and citrusy. LUV IT Hazy Mindset hazy IPA 8.1% ABV... hazy citrus delicious and to be over 8%, you'd never know it. FIRE! Loka Koko coconut Stout 6.7% ABV... semi sweet chocolate and coconut. Like a dark chocolate almond joy. GREAT! Fish Face Meher lemon sour 8% ABV... it had a different taste, it was okay. Life on Marzen lager 6.1% ABV... absolutely awful! Down Unda IPA 7.1% ABV... if you don't like Life on Marzen, you will hate this. Most of the beer was awesome. The service was top notch. They had 2 people managing the bar and they were very attentive. Even for our table in the corner. Didn't get to try the food on this visit, but I will return.

Not sure who would really be sitting out there.. Once inside,, the Brewery is spacious with enough seating both bar and tables for a good size group of beer dinners.  I sat at the bar and ordered a flight of all 10 beers they had on tap. All the beer at Escutcheon is drinkable, crushable and reasonably price for $6-7 a pint. And, the beer here is true to style.  No extra flavors, just good beer by the numbers. Brian was our beertender and he was great.  Thanks Brian, your sense of humor and knowledge of the beer as well as nautical terms made our night way better.  The brewers name is John and he brews clean flavors.  It is comforting when the beers taste like what they are.
