I love Baked Bar so much that I drive at least 15 minutes for the visit. The pastries are too good and worth the drive. Great seating options if you want to work from the cafe and plenty of street parking around the area. The staff is always friendly and the coffee is good as well. Love it here!

Made it just in time before they closed for the day & treated myself to an ever so fresh Pan Chocolate. Even at end of the day, the croissant was flaky and fresh, absolute perfection for an afternoon pick me up. I have been working on a project adjacent to Baked Bar and am so glad I've found this little gem. Fresh baked pastries and amazing coffees. I've also enjoyed their curried egg salad sandwich which reminds me of tea time egg sandwiches my mum would make. The staff are always so friendly and nice. Such a great local coffee shop!

As soon as you walk in, you're kind of impressed by all the bread and the other baked goods behind the glass and it smells lovely inside. The service was efficient and nice. I ordered it to drop coffee, and it went perfectly with the things that I ordered. The chocolate chip cookie I got here is probably the top three favorite chocolate chip cookies here in LA so far. The turkey croissant was absolutely delightful and I wasn't planning on getting a second croissant, but I saw the pastrami with the pickle on top and I felt compelled to order it. I didn't eat the pastrami croissant till later that day, but the lamination of the layers was so freaking spectacular these croissants make a freaking massive how likely they are. Don't be afraid to get dirty and just bite in!

Came back here and tried more! This time we went for both savory and sweet, trying the Pastrami croissant as well as their crowd's fave Hazelnut Almond Croissant. Pastry base was buttery and fragrant with gorgeous lamination. Stuffing was also generous, perfect weekend treats while enjoying their mezzanine corner that felt just like our own living room!

Baked Bar is absolutely amazing! They havea an amazing variety of regular, gluten free and vegan baked goods options....and everything is delicious! They worked with me for custom cupcakes for my 40th birthday party and they turned out awesome. They team is highly collaborative, responsive and friendly. I highly recommend stopping by their storefront for some delicious carbs and coffee. Highlights: Their croissants, vegan/GF chocolate cake/cupcakes, vegan/GF pizza square

Seasonal Croissant was half off. Pistachio Dubai croissant

The good: I got their sourdough bread for $9 (half loaf was $6) and it was great. The sour flavor was apparent, the inside was soft, and the outside had a nice crust without being too thick. We also got a ginger molasses cookie, a seasonal croissant that looked like a Christmas tree with vanilla custard inside, and a Dubai chocolate croissant. Both were SO beautiful. I enjoyed the decadent croissants and liked the custard cream in them. I had expected the seasonal croissant to be dry because it was half off but it wasn't at all and was not stale. I enjoyed both croissants a lot. Both were decadent. They had great options like sage poptart and panettone (that was 20% off). The bad: The seasonal croissant was supposed to be half off of $7 but they charged $8. The worker discovered the mistake and refunded $4 but it should've been $3.50. The molasses cookie was a bit sweeter than I would've liked. The register area and area to look at the pastries behind the display case is narrow. I think there's just street parking. The interesting: They have a loft sitting area upstairs (dogs aren't allowed there).

I really enjoyed the selection at Baked Bar. I tried the apricot sage poptart, blood orange blueberry muffin, and a tuna croissant sandwich. The tuna salad on croissant was better than I expected. The croissant was so flaky and light, and the tuna salad tastes fresh and had such great texture with the chopped apples. The pop tart was delicious, it wasn't too sweet and the sage a balanced it out. I loved how buttery the crust was. The place itself is on the smaller side, but still enough space to enjoy or do work. There's also outside seating. The staff was kind and patient. Will need to find street parking.

So many good pastries and vegan options! The set up is quite aesthetically pleasing with seating outside, and a downstairs/upstairs indoor area. I was so happy to discover that they have a vegan cold foam option!! Especially with cold brew!! I love making myself a cold brew with a cold foam at home, but it is hard to find vegan cream in coffee shops. Not pictured, but I also tried their vegan almond croissant. It tasted like a filled donut with almonds! So sweet and comforting. The friendly service made me feel welcomed :). Please pay this place a visit. (Oh, and they also have a little shop on the side with various bread and merch)

There are so many amazing baked goods to choose from. There is also freshly baked bread. I don't think I got the right thing in terms of pastries but I am still interested in going again to try more. The cinnamon roll was good but dense and would have tasted better warm and fresh. The maple biscuit didn't have much going on with it. Cold brew is fire!

Visited on a Saturday - found street parking on the main road. Lots of vegan pastry assortments which was exciting - tried the vegan fudge cake and vegan chocolate croissant. Both were excellent! Will definitely be back to try more. Good coffee selection as well and freshly baked sourdough for a reasonable price. Great service as well.

Friends in Culver City recommended this bakery for some breakfast goodies on a Monday morning. The Kwin Aman (Kouign-amann) and Almond Croissants were excellent (5/5 $7). Bread looked good, but we didn't try any. We were very disappointed with the bagels. This Baked Bar is in a single storefront with some indoor and outdoor tables. It does have coffee. Service was great. Street parking.

I ordered a turkey provolone croissant, along with a vanilla latte and I am not complaining. Nice selection of fresh bread made. The service was pretty good and the vibe was cool. My favorite thing was everything that I ordered was worth the price, tasted delicious and the fresh baked goods.

Spinach pesto danish (good), apple kouign amann (meh), apricot financier (meh), gingerbread cookie (good), butter croissant
    Julia T.

Nice variety of items, all were pretty pricey but maybe standard for the area. We ended up with 5 things: a spinach danish which was tasty with a nice flaky pastry, the kouign amann which unfortunately was a little underbaked and the apple made the pastry no longer flaky and a little soggy, gingerbread cookie which was quite soft and nice ginger flavor, apricot financier which was a little disappointing, a bit dry and not a ton of flavor outside of the apricot jam, and the butter croissant which looked nice but we gave to a friend so I'm not sure how it was. They do have vegan pastries available which is cool. Some seating inside, the guy behind the counter was very nice. However, for the price I'm not sure I'd come back, maybe I would to try the loaves of bread.

NOTE: Restaurant has a website & orders can be placed online, though no menu pics for point of reference. Sinners for decadent desserts & saints for gluten-free delights... Sinners & Saints Desserts offers a splurge for a luscious dessert, yet scrumptious for those that need gluten-free treats. Be mindful that their kitchen is not a dedicated gluten-free one, but precautions are taken to minimize cross contamination. I used to work in the area & came across this bakery, but never got around to trying them out. Since my daughter's birthday was coming up, I thought about trying them out since their desserts were beautifully displayed... they should taste good, right? I ordered the current favorite flavor: red velvet, & asked if they could decorate it with pink flowers & birthday message in red. The cake looks plain with just 3 pink roses, but the birthday cursive was pretty good; however, for the price, it wasn't worth eating a super dry cake. Our family of 4 barely ate 1/3, & tried giving it away to our neighbors, who were also unimpressed. The Smack Pie was supposedly a decadent chocolate lover's sinful treat. It was meh... the ganache wasn't silky-smooth but did taste fudgy, the caramel was hard, & the peanuts were stale. We did enjoy the Banana Cream & Lemon Blueberry Tarts to offset the very dry birthday cake. Luckily, I bought these to compensate for the cake so the birthday girl was happy in the end. Sinners & Saints Desserts sounds like a deliciously tempting bakery but some of their goods miss the mark. I don't think I'll be purposely sinning here much. Recommended: Lemon Blueberry & Banana Cream Tarts.

She took me here. The place was very clean and tidy with a lot of different types of sweet treats. I was there for one thing only. I did ask the gal working if they were made that day and she said yes. We ordered a raspberry, an orange, a coffee bean and the popular mango. This was my 2nd time trying these and our hopes were high BUT the raspberry was just awful the filling was strange and it had just raspberry jam inside,I dint eat it. The mango was okay so we shared that. The coffee bean was just awful as well so we didn't finish that either. The orange was the best of the group but overall just a disappointing experience once again because these are not cheap. I'm starting to think I might just have to give up my journey to find these although there are some places in Vegas that look promising. I don't think Reno has any bakeries that make these. They look so beautiful but the taste is a let down.

This is not to say I dislike the Salt & Straw's and Wanderlust's of the world, but they don't hold a candle to the well-rounded experience ice cream-goers are provided with at Ginger's Divine Ice Creams in Culver City. First, the ice cream. Every time I visit with my brother and order my usual (shout-out to the Butterscotch Oreos and Fudge!), I am ALWAYS provided the most generous of scoops, often more than enough to have leftovers for days following. The rich, smooth, and creamy texture paired with the familiar yet refined flavor profiles never fails to leave me satisfied and smiling :) However, my affinity for the sweet treats served at this establishment means NOTHING without the team-members that make Ginger's what it is. The team here is consistently warm and welcoming, never failing to ensure every visit is equal parts helpful and hospitable. Like I wrote above, I often come here with my brother, but it's the team and their positive vibes that make it feel like home. In closing, this parlor is WITHOUT A SHADOW OF A DOUBT the best in the West (Los Angeles area), and I won't hesitate to continue supporting this quality establishment

I've gone through phases with the flavors too. Billionaire Brownie is a great place to start, but once you become a regular like me, you start getting creative My personal move right now is vanilla with almonds + caramel on top, with a warmed-up brownie on the side. And if I'm taking a break from the brownie...SHEESH. The chocolate chip cookie is so good!! But the biggest thing for me is the staff. Every time I walk through the doors, it genuinely feels like I'm seeing friends. Everybody says what's up, remembers you, jokes around with you..it just feels good being there. Shoutout to Malaika for making my order today!! Got to hear about what she's studying in college too, and I'm genuinely bummed she's leaving in a month And Jeffrey deserves a shoutout too because that dude is hilarious. He's always cracking me up whenever I roll through. The whole team is so dope that I've literally dropped off complimentary Equinox passes for them before and will absolutely do it again. If I REALLY had to nitpick, my only request would be some music around the outdoor seating area. That's literally it.
