A buzzing Culver City fixture with a high-energy atmosphere. It's a popular haunt that can get quite crowded, though they offer a seamless transition between quick to-go orders and more relaxed sit-down options. The egg white slider was a standout--surprisingly airy and savory without feeling overindulgent. My friend opted for a freshly baked pretzel, which had that chewy texture and a deep golden crust that really hit the mark. One minor caveat if you're eyeing the patio: there aren't any umbrellas, so it can get toasty in the direct sun. You might want to pivot to an indoor table if it's a particularly scorching afternoon. Overall, it's a dependable, vibrant spot for a quick bite or a casual rendezvous.

Lots of grab and go items.

So happy to have found this spot. It's a smaller café, but the layout is thoughtfully designed and makes great use of the space, with plenty of seating both inside and out. When we visited it was fairly busy, yet it never felt cramped, and we were still able to snag a table. The interior is warm and inviting, with lots of natural wood, clean lines, and a cozy, modern feel. The mix of small tables and seating creates an intimate atmosphere that's perfect for lingering with a coffee, people-watching, or catching up with friends. I ordered an iced oat milk latte and a toasted everything bagel, and my husband grabbed me a peanut butter cookie from the front. The latte and bagel were both perfect, and I took a nibble of the vegan peanut butter cookie--crispy on the edges, chewy in the middle, and absolutely delicious. I ended up saving the rest for later because it was that good. The staff is lovely and attentive, and you can really tell they care about creating a positive, welcoming experience for their customers. We'll definitely be back.

Driving by I noticed this place and on a whim decided to pull over, I asked for an iced vanilla Late, and chilaquiles, and YUM! Not only pretty, but super tasty, the staff kind, fast and friendly, the food came out quick, yes! Go

It's been a while since I've updated my reviews here. I still love their pastries and breakfast dine-in options. It can still be pretty chaotic in here but everyone working here is friendly and they do their best to get guests in and out so there isn't too much congestion. For dine-in, their servers could be a little more attentive but again, friendly-enough and worth it to go because their food is pretty good. I love the pretzels croissant breakfast sandwich and I recently tried the hazelnut croissant which was tasty. The almost croissant with always have my heart here and my friend is a fan of their cheese danish. The shop is small, clean, and there's indoor and outdoor seating. Metered street parking is available all around the area but depending on the time of day can be difficult. Overall, worth a visit!

Stopped by recently and was pleasantly surprised with the selection of pastries. The price was good for the area which will definitely have us come back again. We tried the pretzel knot (enjoyed it) chocolate croissant (enjoyed it) regular croissant (enjoyed it) and the banana walnut muffin (wasn't the best but not terrible) we do wish the pastries had the option to warm them up but nonetheless they were still delicious. The staff wasn't rude but wasn't friendly either to be honest. Just wouldn't recommend if your goal is to talk to anyone. It's a perfect place to keep to yourself Other than that we plan on going back and trying new things. The regular menu for breakfast/brunch looks delicious. We paid about $33 for 2 coffees and 4 pastries so i definitely recommend based on cost as well!

Came here around 7am on a Sunday and people were already wondering in. Cute local bakery with lots of seats to dine in as well. I ordered a variety of pastries to try and overall decent but a bit pricy. My favorite was the regular croissant. Nice and buttery but wanted it a bit more flaky!

Good neighborhood cafe shop. 830am is the peak time of the shop! Great coffee, I get their vanilla latte. The baked goods are great. I like their pineapple , coffee cake and their salmon danish. Quick friendly service. They also have a nice lunch menu. I didn't have lunch there today but in the past, I did and again, great service and great food.

We stopped here for lunch today and were very pleasantly surprised!! Boyfriend had the special with croissant, lox, poached eggs and hollandaise sauce. I opted for the pretzel croissant sandwich with egg, avocado and cheese and a side of tater tots. Both were delightfully presented and delicious!! Service was quick and friendly, and we liked the casual ambiance with interesting wall art, including a selection of framed ceramic rolling pins. No notes!! We will absolutely be back!!

From granola to freshly baked bread, Röckenwagner Bakery has it all. This LA bakery was created by Chef Hans Röckenwagner, who's worked at acclaimed restaurants across Germany and Switzerland. From that fun fact alone you know that their baked goods are fire. During my most recent visit I ordered a matcha with oat milk and a variety of their baked goods. My favorite was their fluffy croissant, both the almond and chocolate. This biz is located on a busy street so parking can be difficult, but definitely worth the hassle.

As you entered this restaurant, you can't help but to glare at all the goodies behind the case. You eyes will wander, it's hard to stay focused at one area when it all looks so good! The muffins, the scones, the croissants, the cookies... You are greeted when you enter, then asked if you need any help. Take your time, choose what you really want. The basic croissant is delicious. Scones are good. Drinks are a must.... Their barista makes great espresso drinks. Anything breakfast is awesome! Love their burrito and sandwiches. The dining area is right inside past the quick to-go stuff. It's a step up from ground level is beautifully decorated. Come try this place, it's a great bakery.

This is a small bakery/cafe located a few miles from Venice Beach and they are making delicious baked goods here and breakfast/lunch food! When you walk in you are shown the display case full of freshly made croissants and desserts and friendly staff greeting you as you walk in! I got several items - Plain Croissant, Pretzel Croissant, and the Jalapeno Cheese Bread. All 3 were delicious but my favorite of the three was the Pretzel croissant. It had the great texture of the regular croissant but with a little bit more chew and saltiness that you would expect from a regular pretzel. The interior is warm and inviting and there are tables right in the main dining area that you can sit and dine in at or some tables right out front. Plenty of people come by for to-go orders but the lines typically move quick. The baked goods here are absolutely delicious and worth the higher price you see from a quality bakery and the next time I stop by, I'm gonna try some of their food from their menu!

We popped in here on Memorial Day. They were busy because there weren't many places in the area open. We were happy they were open and lucky to find outside seating options since we had our pup with us! My partner got the breakfast burrito that he described as mid. I didn't try it but the tater tots that came with it were perfectly crispy! Our son got just a side of bacon because there weren't gluten free options. Bacon was crispy and he enjoyed it! I ordered the Chilaquiles which is often one of my go-to breakfast options while out. Eggs were sunny side to perfection and I cpuld they were great quality eggs with a rich orange yolk. The sauce on the dish was rich and had a sweetness to it. I liked it! Partner wasnt a fan. I thought the sauce was a bit too thick though. They did a great job of maintaining crispy chips in serving though and it maintained throughout my meal which was impressive. Im wondering if the thicker sauce helped play a role in that! I plan to test at home because who doesn't love a good science food experiment. All in all great place to pop by on the weekend. Not a typical overwhelming brunch place. This place was modest and cozy!

It remains a unique addition to the neighborhood, as well as a good place to grab some interesting dishes. Since the opening of this particular business, the Zinc chain has opened in a few other locations. Those locations are much newer in not only their establishment but their design. This is not to say that this is still not an interesting, well-designed business, but, with time, it has become a little bit rundown. I hate to say it, but that is the truth. This location could really use an update and perhaps a deep cleaning. I was, in fact, kind of surprised at the condition of this business, for example, on the way towards their restrooms. From my opinion, it needs an clean up and an update. Also, the litter that surrounded some of the outdoor tables where I was sitting at my most recent visit was very surprising. This is just something to keep in mind if you're coming here for your first visit. In terms of what they offer for food, though it has evolved a bit over the years, they still have a great, heath-based menu, with some very interesting choices. For all of you vegetarians and vegans out there, you will, for sure, be able to find some tasty food to eat. Once upon a time, this restaurant was impacted with tons and tons of people. It was constantly full with people either going to the bakery and/or sitting down for table service. Shortly past their opening each day, there would be a line of people waiting for service. This seems to have changed, however. Meaning, if you're looking for an interesting place to eat, with some good dishes, at the far Southeast side of DTLA, near the lofts district, and you want a place without a long wait to get a table and/or your food, this may still be your place to go.

I got an omelette and it was fresh and light, but very small for the price and no bread included. Now for the rest, the service was appalling. We could understand that it was busy but the waitress never apologized or said anything like they were understaffed or anything. Also, we had a few questions about the menu and our drinks and the waitress would just say, "I think so?" or give a vague answer. She didn't seem very knowledgeable about the menu at all. Maybe she was new, but clearly training was lacking. I don't think I'll be returning but since I see many reviews relating to service issues, hopefully management is able to address the deficit
