I have been visiting this office for about 10 years, and the last three years have been wonderful. The manager who assists with check-outs and helps fit glasses is truly amazing. I regret not remembering her name because she deserves recognition for her kindness, patience, and willingness to go the extra mile. During my most recent visit, she helped me find the perfect pair of sunglasses , and she has assisted me with my last three pairs of glasses. I often struggle to find something that suits my face shape and coloring, but she has done an incredible job each time. She was also very patient with my two kids and me, taking the time out of her day to help us find the right looks. I can't thank her enough for helping me rock my glasses and sunglasses! read more

I am surprised by all of the negative comments. They have been great for the past two years. The prices for glasses is much better than where I used to go when I lived across town. The Doctor sent me to a retinal specialist for something I knew about before, but my previous doctor was not concerned with. Horrible customer care. It's like an SNL skit trying to get service at this place. If you ask for a specific person, like the manager, an associate, the front desk, or even the person you have talked to once previously they tell you they are out, on a lunch break, OR THEY TRANSFER YOU and you are actually talking to the same person. I'm just trying to get a copy of my most current prescriptions sent to my email, which is my legal right. Definitely NOT RECOMMENDED. PATHETIC! DO NOT GO HERE! If I could give this place negative stars I would. I am appalled and disgusted by the lack of customer service and customer care. They failed to make an important disclosure to me about my glasses and as a result my glasses are wrong and I have to have them redone somewhere else. Absolutely unapologetic and refusing to take ownership of their mess up-the attitude of the staff and manager is unacceptable. I had to fight for my refund and now they want their messed up lenses back. Who is going to pay for all the gas I am wasting driving up and down because of these clowns?! Won't even allow me to use the lenses temporarily while I find someone who can fix THEIR mess. And we all know those lenses will simply end up in the trash can anyway. The least they can do is apologize and give me the lenses to use even if temporarily. Was told to test contacts after my exam, they had reviewed my insurance info in store and informed me how much it covers. Called back a few weeks later and informed them the test contacts feel good and go ahead and order whatever amount my insurance would cover. Was informed they would be ready to pick up in a couple weeks. Called them 2 weeks later to check since I hadn't heard from them. Was told they hadn't been ordered because they needed to check on something to do with payment (even though they were able to tell me all that info at my exam visit). Cancelled the whole order at this point and ordered online. read more

My husband and I have been getting our eye exam and glasses here for at least the last 7 years. They are friendly and very helpful in helping you find a new look or staying within your comfort zone. I walked in with my daughter and her broken glasses. She, my daughter, had tied a plastic fork to replace a temple. Not only did the staff make her feel special for being so 'creative', but India also went the extra mile by temporarily fixing the piece that had broken off. Thank you India! I'm disappointed with my experience at Look Optical today. After wearing my glasses for days, when I try to read something close to me the words get blurry. I was concerned about the prescription being too strong and wanted to follow up with Dr. Lavalle. I didn't get to meet with her today. Another lady asked me a couple of questions and stated this was happening because I needed bifocals and that it was stated in my prescription. I told her I wish someone would have told me before I came up there. This is really disappointing because my initial interaction with Dr. Lavalle in December was nice but because she couldn't take a couple minutes out her day to address my concerns was quite disappointing. I don't live in the area, hence the delay in getting this issue addressed. Also the quick dismissal to see me could have been because I have VSP insurance. I saw in another review that Look Optical no longer accepts VSP. read more

I gave 1 star because I had to give at least 1 star in order to leave a post. I have been going here for 3 years and I have never had an issue until today. They are no longer in network for my vision insurance which is VSP no one said anything about this change. They ran my insurance twice and still never said anything. I was not told upfront about the amount that I would be charged BEFORE the services was provided. There was still an option for VSP insurance on the form they had me fill out to update my insurance. Still no one informed me of the change until AFTER they did they eye exam. I was then left paying this amount as the services was provided and I was billed. Lucky I had the money to cover the charges. I paid more today for my son eye exam and glasses then I been paying for myself and my two boys. This is beyond ridiculous. So if you want professional service then dont go here. The worse part is the only person who apologized for this whole ordeal is the one person who had no idea what was going on. read more
