After the contact lenses fitting exam, I requested the brand I have been using for the updated prescription. Never heard back. I was out on contact lenses and decided to just order. Asked the owner id there is any discount or rebate opportunity. He said he will call back. Never heard back again. Had to just order my contacts. Requested the lenses to be delivered to home instead. The assistant said she wasn't sure if thats possible but will call to let me know if they can't have it delivered to my home. Waited over two months and got an email from other clinic I've never heard of that my contacts been delivered and I didn't receive it. I called the number on the email and they said they don't have me in their patient record and I'd have to call where I got the exam at. I called eye envy vision and they said they have my contacts. I went to pick up my lenses and noticed it did not match my prescription. Asked them to order correct prescription. Never heard back for more than 3 weeks. I got tired of waiting and decided to get my contact lenses elsewhere. I talked to the owner, he apologized and asked if there is anything he could do. I asked if I could get my next exam waived. He said he will find out and call me back the same day. I did not hear back from any of them but still getting marketing by text and emails to opt in for more marketing and exam due reminders. That is not the case; i have had glasses most of my life and know how to care for them. I actually use the cleaner and cloth they provide. When she finally talked to me, I described what I wanted and told her that my insurance will pay for everything and I get this benefit once a year. I was well past the last time that I had gotten my previous glasses. She argued with me and said that I would not be able to afford any frames. This went on for at least 1/2 hour. I was so distressed because I really need the new glass after having surgery. Bottom line was that she asked me about add-on items, and if I said I didn't need them, i.e. tinted lenses, I declined. Then she told me to go look at frames and she showed me one partition with about 30 frames. She said that's all my insurance would cover. That's a bold-faced lie. I've had this exact same insurance since 2012. I like pink frames and there was only one in the store. So I tried them on and took them to her. She was measuring me and said that the person making the glasses could not use those frames! Finally I did find pink frames but when I brought them to her she quoted me $100 extra. I have never been so mad. It was like I was being robbed. So yesterday my husband and I went to pick up the glasses, well over a month later. Nicole did not call me, no one did. I called there and they said I never answer the phone, another lie. I am elderly and disabled and I'm almost always at home.
