First off, hard to beat the view at Beach Front. We sat outside since two of the couples had dogs. Great menu, outstanding service and excellent food. We had burgers, sandwiches, bloody Mary's, margaritas, beach nachos with beef, skillets with shrimp & with beef. Everything was excellent. I had the Shrimp Skillet with rice and grilled veggies and it was excellent. Cooked perfectly, seasoned perfectly and fresh tasting as well. Clam chowder was also very good. Bar drinks were well made, food was great. Chris was our server. Outstanding job, great personality. Chris was helpful, efficient and informative. Clean restaurant and rest rooms even though it was trivia night and thr restaurant was completely full. On this night, Beach Front Grille was a winner. read more

We were visiting while on vacation and love to patronize places that host trivia. We made reservations and arrived ten minutes prior to trivia time. 15 minutes past trivia time and of course, after we ordered, they announce that trivia was canceled. This was a huge disappointment since we drove out just for trivia. It would have been nice to get some kind of compensation, but all we got was super slow service and a 3 percent credit card surcharge! (It does say that on the menu, but again, it would have been nice if they took that off for the inconvenience.) The food is over priced and mediocre. 12 dollars for a wedge salad that is about a third the head of lettuce and very little toppings is inflation at it's best. Two dollars to sub fries for chips is also a bit much. The most surprising part was the tipping options starting at a whopping 25 percent, then 30, then 35 percent!! Who is eating here? Burt Reynolds?? (IYKYK) We will not be back when visiting this part of Florida; not even for trivia. read more

We decided to try out Beach Front Grill since our last visit was not good and have a new owner...big mistake!!! Got there at 4:30pm which with such a beautiful day we wanted outdoor dining. After waiting 10 minutes for the "so called hostess" to appeared, my husband told her we wanted outdoor seating for 2. Her comment to him was, we don't seat anyone for outdoor seating till after 5. She turned around and walked away from him!! Really??? Didn't ask if we'd like to get a table instead just walked away. Bar outside was open with plenty people outside. Guess what!!! We drove down the street to Oceanside and had a delicious meal there!! We will never be back!! So disappointing and 3 disappointing visits, strike 3 you are out!!! read more

The Good: Location, It's the only place in the area and right off the main road. The Bad: Slow service The Ugly: 3% charge for using credit card We ended up at this place because we were meeting an old friend that moved to Jacksonville. She kind of knew the area so she picked the place. It looks more like a bar than a restaurant but they do have a decent menu. A pint of draft beer was $4. The chicken wrap was $17 total with the $2 up charge for fries instead of chips. I would not go out of my way to eat there but if I were in the area and not pressed for time it's a good place to hang out. read more

We met up with friends in our Volkswagen club for a ride around Flagler and Ormond. After the ride we stopped into the Beach Front Grille. I ordered the Chef Burger. The ingredients of the burger changes each day. Today was bacon, lettuce, tomato, Brie cheese and raspberry jam. It was really good and tasty. I would order this again for sure! My wife ordered the SWEET THAI CHILI SHRIMP WRAP. It had grilled shrimp tossed in a sweet thai chili sauce with lettuce, tomato, & onion. My wife said it was delicious and would definitely order it again. She said next time she would ask for No Onion. Our waitress did a great job taking care of all us! Everyone was super friendly. We were initially disappointed there was not a beach view but that soon went away when our food arrived. The food was delicious, my husband had the lamb gyro and said it was great lamb tender and the toppings and sauce exceptional, I had the shrimp tacos and they were very good each filled with nice size shrimp. Came for a hamburger for the Fourth of July and ended up splitting half a rack of ribs and a burger with excellent sides. It was super delicious. We went to get pizza and were told they were out of pizza! Wow. The food was we ended up getting was good. Steamed shrimp, Parmesan wings, chicken quesadilla, all pretty good. However, we sat outside and the service was not good. Friendly servers, but they rarely came out to check on us. It took over an hour to get our food. The outside porch ambiance was only fair. Stopped in last night and ordered the sirloin tip sandwich. It was amazing. Meat was plentiful and very tender. It was cooked perfectly. The French fries were the best. Nice and crisp and not too much salt. I would definitely order this again. My friend ordered the margherita pizza which was delicious. I will definitely get that next time. We ordered fish and chips and a fish Reuben. The batter is delicious and the fish was cooked perfectly! Tartar sauce - yummy!! We split sweet potato fries and reg fries with each other. I think they can do more with their fries - they were just ok. The sweet potato fries were a nice crunchy bite and the cinnamon butter was tasty. The fish Reuben sandwich was moist and seasoned well. There was plenty of seating inside, and we were seated right away. Staff was super friendly and quick to take orders and bring drinks. There were four in our party. Here's what we got. -Fish and Chips -large portion (had to get a To Go box for half of it. Fish was nicely cooked; super tasty! -Chicken quesadilla (hold the tomatoes). It was said that the quesadilla smelled a little burnt but tasted really, really good. Also, large portions -Ribeye Steak dinner - Amazing! Perfectly cooked, tender steak. Seasoned nicely. A enormous! It comes with a side and broccoli (a baked potato in this case). All very good. -Fresh Salmon Skillet. This was mine. And it was perfect. The salmon was great, the potato was great. The broccoli was great. It was great. I even convinced the two kids with us to try the salmon and they both loved it. Cost wise, altogether with three drinks, (fountain drinks and tea), we were at around $90. I'm so glad we found this place. The fact that they were able to seat us right away was a huge plus, but the food and service really put them over the top. Our server was Jess, and she was just perfect! I have been to this location twice and it impressed me both times. The taco salad is the bomb! I would highly suggest it, but ask for half the olives (they put a lot). The pricing is reasonable. Beach Front Grille is a local welcoming beach bar with the finest bartender. She was cheerful, friendly and attentive. She noticed I was a bit chilly and turned the air down!! We went for lunch and sat at the bar. I had the Black and Bleu burger that was delicious and perfectly cooked-charred on the outside and medium on the inside. My husband had the haddock and he said it was very good. They had William Hill Cabernet as a red wine upgrade which is a favorite choice of mine. We will definitely be back. read more

Me and my family recently held my father's 75th birthday party here. We rented the main room, and it was just the right size for us. The food was delicious, plentiful, everyone enjoyed it. Service was amazing and we could not have asked for anything better. Drinks were consistently filled, dishes were cleared, food was constantly re-plenished, and questions answered. We were allowed to bring a DJ and our own desserts. They allowed us to decorate and bring supplies earlier in the day, which helped a lot, since we had a busy day then. We received many compliments from our guest. The DJ even said it was a great party. We want to thank everyone at Beach Front Grille for making my dad's birthday party the best it could have been. All the staff were really wonderful, but Crystal and Corey were especially helpful. We interacted with the kitchen staff, bartenders, and other servers. We came to try out trivia this week, which was super fun. Our server, Jess, was absolutely amazing. She was very attentive despite having all of the tables in the trivia area to take care of. She was very nice and knowledgeable and took great care of us. We ordered a bowl of soup and were mistakenly given a cup but she fixed this right away. We also had a question regarding the crab cakes as the menu mentioned two crab cakes came in an order and we received only one. She apologized and mentioned how they increased the portion of the individual crab cake and needed to update the menu. We appreciated the response and did not complain, although she brought us a second crab cake which was incredibly sweet of her. If you come in, please ask for Jess, you will not be disappointed. It was a warm sunny day and the three of us asked to be seated outside. Good view of the ocean from our seats. The server immediately came out and asked if we knew what we wanted. We asked if we could have a couple of minutes to look at the menu after we ordered our drinks. The drinks were delivered promptly but the LIT was a bit too sweet with probably not much alcohol. 15 minutes went by and our server finally returned to take our food order. We're usually pretty patient but the place wasn't busy at all. They had changed the menu so we had to check out the new selections. We ordered our meals and they were delivered promptly. The peel and eat shrimp was delicious as was the roasted turkey on bread with fries. The Caesar salad and the prime rib was just ok. Our server was very courteous and checked on us periodically. My tooth cracked and I needed a crown. I paid for. I've left 2 bills with my address and mobile number. ... Nothing but crickets failed to take a picture but the manager and waitress were well aware. It was served to me that way. No one would explain how this landed at my table seeing I ordered white rice. Bottom line Jamie is not at the beach front grill at any regular time or day. Food was not great. Else had fettuccine Alfredo with chicken. It did not have Alfredo sauce, it has butter sauce abs the chicken was over cooked. Also, ordered an open face turkey sandwich. It should have came with mashed potatoes and did not. It came with fries. We ordered 2 Christmas cocktails and one cake out as a shot, but I paid for it as a drink. It was not worth the money. After a visit to our doctor in Ormond Beach Larry and I decided to head towards Flagler Beach as it's such a beautiful drive. We decided to get something to eat while we were up that way. We needed a restaurant with easy access. As we drove by the Beach Front Grill he noticed the flags flying outside and a pretty full parking lot so we turned around and went back. We were greeted right away and told to sit anywhere we wanted, after we sat down Cody promptly brought menus and took our drink order. He pointed out the Tuesday burger special. After looking at the menu which had a nice variety we both opted to order the burger, mine with provolone cheese and his with American cheese. We were going to order fries to share but Cody let us know it came with fries. The food was quickly delivered. The burger was big enough that we shared one and brought the other home. What a deal for $7.00. The fries were perfectly crispy and hot. The burger was fine for me though Larry said next time he would ask for medium well since it was pretty pink inside. Cody was a great server and provided excellent customer service. Larry and I enjoyed our meal and we will definitely return. read more
