Durian lovers, approach with caution, this one's more avocado with a flirt of sầu riêng! Loopy Loop (inside QT Market Food Court, Garden Grove, CA). Loopy Loop is tucked inside the QT Market food court, sharing open seating with other vendors. Plenty of seats and lots of free parking make it super convenient. I came in after a strong recommendation for their ongoing Buy 2 Get 1 Free promo and went for their top seller: Bơ Dầm Sầu Riêng. Total came out to $21.53 for three, just $7.18 each. The name tells you what you're getting: mostly avocado with a light touch of durian. There were some sliced almonds on top for texture. I couldn't quite tell if they added condensed milk, and I forgot to ask. As a durian lover, I found the avocado-to-durian ratio a bit disappointing, but again, bơ dầm sầu riêng literally means "smashed avocado with durian," and durian is the pricier ingredient. The flavor was fresh and clean, made to order in front of you with fresh fruit. It's important to note that "dầm" (smashed) is not the same as "sinh tố" (smoothie), different vibe and texture. We ate one on the spot and took the rest to go. I asked for ice to be packed between the cups, and they kindly obliged with no extra charge. They held up during a day of errands and an early flight the next morning to Portland. I froze them overnight, thawed one at room temp for 30 minutes, gave it a quick stir, and boom, a perfect thick smoothie treat. Overall, it's a fun and easy way to satisfy a sweet tooth on the go or between meals while in town. The flavors are clearly designed for a Vietnamese palate, and the freshness really shines. If they're still around next time I'm back, I'll definitely swing by to try more!

Tiny shop with a ton (almost too many) options, but the TV menu makes it easy to figure out. Drinks are made fresh and taste really good. Theres tons of toppings and variety. Even though the shop is small, on a friday night they were churning out drinks so u know the toppings are fresh. I would definitely come here again if I was in the area!

I was so surprised! This is truly a hole-in-the-wall spot, but the drinks were unbelievably delicious! I loved the durian avocado smoothie, OMG, I'm definitely coming back just for that. I also ordered the soursop smoothie and that was amazing too. Huge shoutout to the owner for the great recommendations!

I went here since I was craving durian and heard about their specialty avodurian smoothie (avocado and durian smoothie). It's located inside the Golden Market Place right next to another smoothie kiosk that also says avodurian smoothie so don't be confused, read the signs! They had a great deal of buy two, get one free so I had to get 3 avodurian smoothies lol. One smoothie is about ~$7.80 so getting 3 for was less than $6 with the deal. The size of the smoothie was generous. They mix the durian and avocado together so it's blended in the smoothie rather than the picture where the durian is on top so it can be misleading. It was thick and refreshing although I tasted more avocado than durian. I do wish they added more durian to avocado ratio since I mainly tasted avocado and small hints of durian at the end only. The price point and taste quality is great for their smoothies but as a durian lover I was a little disappointed for lack of durian in the avodurian smoothie. If you love avocados more they make a good avocado smoothie.

Found Loopy Loop while wandering through what looks like a Vietnamese indoor food court--its a tiny stall tucked on the side They have all the staple Vietnamese drinks but the avocado durian smoothie was my favorite. It wasn't too crowded when we got there around 2 PM on a Saturday, we got the buy two got one free. Plenty of seats available and music wasn't loud at all. I got the smashed advocado with durian, chunks of advocado and quite a serving of durian. My two friends also got the same as mine.

Imagine craving an avocado and durian and not knowing where to go. That's why I appreciate Loopy Loop. It's where all your Vietnamese aunties go when they are craving a smashed avocado durian dessert. The huge damn dessert is $10 each but if you buy 2 then you get one free. I normally just get one because no one I knows appreciated the high quality dessert like I do. They use avocados that are always perfect and the sweetness level is on point. But besides their popular avocado and durian dessert they also have a bunch of other varieties of desserts and drinks. The staff is nice but they honestly like 100 years to make your dessert. Not sure why it takes so long. The person with me was stomping their feet waiting with me. It's located in the old supermarket that is now turned into a food hall.

I have been going to Loopy Loop since they were open. Anh Chị owners are very nice. Our favorites are rau má and Bơ dầm sầu riêng. They have great deal with Buy 2 Get 1 Free. The store is in QT food area. All drinks and restaurants are very nice and clean. They also have fresh fruits for sales. Stop by to try their fresh made drinks and fruits if you are nearby :)

Needed to satisfy my avocado and durian smoothie craving so I decided to visit this place after seeing the great reviews. It's located inside the Golden market place which when you walk in is like a food court set up. I had already eaten beforehand so I didn't get the but one get one free deal which I should have, since the portions were huge and you can tell they didnt skimp out on the fruits. It tasted amazing!! My new go to place for smoothies. I'll be back here again for sure! Customer service was great and wait wasn't too long. Super fresh and yummy - can't wait to take my parent here.

They have a large selection of fruit-based smoothies and also have a buy two get one free deal for most of their drinks. I've tried several of their drinks, all of which are good, and the avocado durian smoothie is probably my favorite. Good place to go to if you're getting tired of boba. Also located in a food court with several Vietnamese food shops so you can get a meal at one of these shops and then a refreshing drink here.

I've bought from this shop and had their drinks once or twice before, and the quality was usually really good. However, I was a bit disappointed today: when I opened my avocado smoothie, I found a piece of a glove inside, and there was a strand of hair in the fermented shrimp paste. The shop really needs to be more careful.

Came to Loopy Loop with my mom and sister on a Wednesday morning. My mom and sister are regulars, but it was my first time here. Mom had an avocado smoothie, & my sister had a strawberry smoothie. I wasn't sure what to order since I'm not really a big fan of smoothies and wasn't able to consume certain fruits at the time. I mentioned this to the owner taking my order and made a comment that I only like smashed avocado, but I didn't expect anything since it wasn't on the menu. I personally like this place more than the one next to it even they have same menu. Especially their customer service is always nicer with the way they take order and give out the cups with smiles. My favorite is the avocado mixed with durian. They give a generous amount and sweetness can be adjusted. I was looking for a smoothies place when I accidentally saw loopy loop on yelp with so many good reviews and all the pictures looked so delicious so I decided to try. I bought a durian avocado smoothie and was really surprised at the price and quality. The smoothie was freshly made. For anyone who likes drinking smoothies, this place is a must try. Love love this place! The desert is so yummy and you can tell them to add more or less sweet they are made to your taste buds! The owner and their sons are so so sweet I have their yummy durian with avocado more than 10x and it's never get old! Came pretty late around 10pm and they closed at 11pm. Needless to say the drinks were so delicious. It literally reminded me of my childhood especially the avocado smoothie. I bought the durian and mango smoothie- so good! Highly recommend. I haven't had durian in a long time so it really hit the spot! I loved that for the fruit smoothies they also place fruit bits at the top. This is a family owned business and their service was so friendly and ambience spectacular since we have karaoke on the side. The son of the owner took my order and is such a sweetheart! The mango smoothie I had was not that bad, however the reason I gave this two stars is because of how slow they were! I ordered my main meal from another place in the food court, then quickly afterwards I was able to order my smoothie from a varied selection of drinks. They gave me a device that should bleep and flash when the smoothie is ready. It took so long for them to make it that I was almost finished eating my other food before the smoothie was ready and I had to ask them multiple times why it was taking so long. Furthermore, specifically their blender was really loud. People around me were talking a lot but that did not create much of a distraction as whenever they used their blender and not anything else, they ruined some of the quiet that was there. I believe they need to either buy a quieter blender or buy some kind of wall to block some of the noise. The service was also not great. To summarize, the smoothie was very slow, maybe because I ordered 3 drinks, it was loud mostly because of their blender, and their service was meh. This was one of the few shops that sold drinks, but I think it still ended up tasting great, although they probably added way to much SUGAR. read more
