Pandan pina collision with homemade grass jelly

What a gem! Loose Leaf is in the same location as a poke place and serves fresh drinks with quality ingredients. The Pandan Pina Collision is a fusion of pina colada flavors and pandan. Love how refreshing it tastes! Lastly, make sure to sign up for their rewards program to get $2 off your first purchase and continue to rack up points!

We were so fortunate to be invited to check out the very first Loose Leaf in MA. They press their delicious tea leaves, grown on the mountains of Taiwan! We got to sample some of their delicious and incredibly unique drinks and were pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to customize each drink. We got to try: Pandan Pina Collision: This drink combined cold pressed pandan, coconut milk and pineapple purée. Oh so, subtly sweet, but so deliciously tropical! Another amazing flavor and texture combo with boba added to it. Purple Roots: A deliciously nostalgic blend of fresh taro and ube. Tasted just like how we grew up having this drink. The subtle sweetness of the ube and combo flavors make this so uniquely tasty! Black Sesame Ginger Latte: This drink consisted of house-made ginger syrup, oat milk, and black sesame paste. My goodness this was a surprising delight! The ginger gave a nice kick while the black sesame balanced out its spiciness with a rich, earthiness that went well perfectly. Strawberry Matcha Latte: This drink combined house-made strawberry compote, chewy boba (this is extra), oat milk and matcha. What a flavor combo! Their matcha is from the volcanic soils of Japan! Give this a vigorous shake, jam your straw in, and you're good to go!

Strawberry matcha latte, jasmine with lychee jelly and HKMT with boba and herbal jelly.

Found this boba shop on our way home. We ordered the Hong Kong Milk tea, jasmine tea with lychee jelly and strawberry matcha latte. The HKMT is good but even with 25% sweetness it's still too sweet and that's the lowest. The boba and homemade herbal jelly is very good though. The jasmine tea is freshly brewed and mixed with the lychee jelly hits the spot. I ordered that with no sugar. The strawberry matcha latte is good as well. Definitely want to come back and try other drinks. The staff is super friendly and helpful too!

Service is fast, tea is delicious. Only complaint is I wish there were more flavorings for tea. Pretty affordable!

I had the grilled octopus which was delicious and tender with a Mediterranean flair. I took a side of garlic broccoli which could have been cooked just a little bit more but was delicious. My wife had the fish and chips which I stole. A little bit of the chips were the best I've had. The fish was delicious. Of course we had to have a traditional old fashioned smoked which was quite a treat. We sat at the bar and the bartender was very attentive. Funny and welcoming.. but what really killed it was the ambiance and Old Stone building with beautifully appointed decorations. It was a place that I would love to spend more time in. If you're ever in the area, we highly recommend it.

Love the build out in the old mill building…read more It's interesting that they distill their own liquors, but it's not the main attraction as they are all variations of things you easily find a ton of, either at most liquor stores or even from other area distilleries like Bully Boy. We've had fantastic food there in the past. Also some great drinks. There are a few reasons for the three though. One is that food can be hit or miss and I think prices are far too high for both the area and what you get. Example shown in my pic was a $35 "Steak Frites" entree, which was you can see is basically steak tips with tater tots and some random veggies and sauce put together in what was not the most appetizing manner. Unless the tots were handmade with exotic ingredients, this is not how a Steak Frites should be done, and even then Tots are a pretty low end alternative. Cocktails also on the high side, though the presentation of the smoked ones was really nice, even if the taste didn't warrant the price. Inside the place gets very noisy and the seating is too compacted, probably because they use a large part of the original building for the distillery operation. Also we went on a weekday, and their entire lot was filled, forcing us to find a grass strip to drive onto and park on. I think the reason was they had a private party on the second floor - I think perhaps they allowed too many guests there which took up most of their parking. Last thing about the menu .. we like that it changes, but this week there were not one but several dishes featuring Gochujang - an unusual flavor for sure, which I do like, but when I see something like that peppered across a menu it speaks to cost cutting in terms of trying to stretch one key ingredient. Just not that thrilled with where the menu is at the moment. The outside seating area is great and eliminates the interior noise problems. And I'll add we had a fantastic server! We will definitely come back, but if the prices remain as high and the food and drinks continue to be a mixed bag, that may not remain the case. And please don't overbook private parties unless you can take over the industrial business next door and expand the parking significantly.

The owner immediately responded, addressed my concerns, and even offered me a gift card as compensation. I thought that was incredibly generous, and I truly appreciated how seriously he took my feedback. Today, I had a busy meeting at work, so I sent my coworker to this location to pick up some muffins for us. He was warmly welcomed and helped by two wonderful female employees. He brought back a dozen muffins, and I finally got to try one myself--the chocolate chip muffin was absolutely delicious! And when I say these muffins are HUGE, I mean HUGE! This location is AMAZING. The staff are friendly and welcoming, the establishment is clean and well-kept, and the muffins are delicious. I definitely recommend giving Muffin House a try!

The only thing we tend to skip is the coffee. We usually drink ours black, so the flavor of the brew really comes through, and it isn't quite as smooth as the coffee we prefer. If you typically add a flavored syrup or cream and sugar, though, you'll probably enjoy it more than we do.
