I finally found a place where I am comfortable & feel like my dental care is in good hands. When I first called to make an appointment, I found the front desk staffer to be so helpful. My questions were answered & I was offered reassurance. Interactions have been pleasant. The office is small with a comfortable little waiting area. Music plays in the background. I haven't found myself waiting for long before my appointment times. During my first appointment, I did find the exam space a little chilly. I appreciate the sunglasses, lip balm, & head rest they offer. I saw Dr Phan. She is friendly & her demeanor put me at ease. She is great at communicating & explaining things. She lets me know what is happening & checks in on how I'm doing. She makes sure to address my questions & it doesn't feel rushed. She offered useful suggestions for at home dental care products. I've found the assistants here to be nice, attentive, & helpful. I briefly interacted with Dr Nguyen & found him to be personable as well. The mister decided to switch from his dentist after my experience. During a confirmation call, there was a 15 minute change in the timing of an appointment because of shifts in their schedule.

Today is extra special because it is my daughter's first appointment at a non-pediatric dentist. The last place she went they (literally) BRUSHED HER TEETH, when she'd go in for a cleaning. So while today was quite a change it will also likely encourage her to take good care of her teeth. Dr Phan was fantastic with her. My daughter is eleven and I wasn't entirely sure she was ready for this but Doc's bedside manner is so loving and friendly that I feel anyone can come here. Highly recommend.

And my daughter's previous dentist didn't even bother to recommend us doing anything. She really care about her patients and wants the best for them. My daughter was so scared in the beginning and she won't even open her mouth. Dr Mapanao was so kind that she accommodated her despite all her tantrums and she was very patient to even work for her to just open her mouth and let her do the procedure. It took 2 hours one time for just to convince my daughter and she was very patient. If it's other dentist they would have send my daughter back home. They were rough, pushy, and constantly trying to upsell unnecessary treatments, making problems seem worse than they were just to get you to agree. They'd pressure you with all these different payment options and made the whole experience stressful and uncomfortable--not to mention they felt really judgy. This office is nothing like that! Front desk and the hygenists are amazing. I have been coming here for over 12 years and even now travel from out of state to come here. You won't find care like this anywhere else They re-made me a retainer recently because the fit felt slightly off. I felt so terrible but they were all so kind about it the whole time. I need some dental work done and was not happy with my previous facility so I called and made an appointment here. The earliest possible appointment was a month out and I was fine with waiting a bit to have a good dentist experience. When I spoke with the receptionist to make my appointment I gave her my insurance information and she said that they take my insurance and I would be good to come in and use my insurance. Today I get a call (just a few days before my appointment) with them saying that they actually don't take my insurance. When notifying me about how they don't accept my insurance the woman on the phone was explaining it to me as if it were my fault that I didn't give my information correctly the first time, which is not true how would I give my insurance info incorrectly when the woman found it perfectly fine on her end that makes zero sense. When the first woman I made an appointment with took my insurance information shouldn't she have seen that and told me that they don't accept it? Why did I only get notified about it just a few days before my appointment? Wasted my time waiting for my appointment here when I could have made an appointment elsewhere. Looks very bad and unprofessional on their part. Don't go here.
