First of all I really like that they offer online ordering. Their pupusas are very big and full of flavor. We tried their queso con loroco, plain cheese, cheese and cerrano chile and revuelta pupusas and they were all very big and cheesy. You are definitely getting your moneys worth. i come here super often with my family and the food is always really good but i was extremely disappointed and dissatisfied with not only the food but management. i ordered the costillas azadas but the costillas came out luke warm so i asked the server to reheat the food for me and she did and was so nice about it to, she brought back my food but it still was luke warm so i asked her again if she would reheat the food for me and she did but it still wasn't hot, after the second time of asking her to reheat my food i got frustrated and just returned the plate and my sister ended up sharing their plate with me. the cook or the manager whoever it was came storming out of the kitchen asking who was the one who had the problem with the food and i raised my hand. immediately she asked what was wrong with the food and i told her i've already asked twice to heat up the food and it just wasn't to my liking and she started to argue with me in front of my family while we were celebrating my moms birthday dinner and basically told me she's still charging me the amount for the food even though i didn't even eat any of the food because it's food that wasted and she would get in trouble with the owner of the restaurant if she comp'd my food which i found to be absolutely ridiculous but i didn't want to argue further because like i said my family was there. it's very frustrating asking to have to your food heated up twice and still being unsatisfied with it along with the cook who has a unbelievably bad attitude towards you and who i genuinely think likes to argue she blamed not being able to comp my food on the owner which is fine but her attitude was so bad my whole family felt uncomfortable. if i could do zero stars i would. read more

Oh wow! These pupusas are so delicious! I wanted to order some for family and I noticed this place was fairly new with good reviews. I went first and tried some with my husband and I. We ordered 4, revueltas, frijoles y queso, chicharron y queso, frijoles y chicharron and they were so so good and huge! We ordered there and once we ordered it was a 20 min wait as they are made fresh. The owner I believe, offered to bring them out to the car. The pupusas included the salsa and curtido with utensils. So I knew that it was the place to order from. We placed the order over the phone 1 day prior and paid with a credit card. They were ready at the time we asked for and it included the curtido again, the tomato salsa and I also requested the green salsa as it is a bit spicy and I definitely recommend getting. The only thing was there was no utensils or napkins included this time which was a bummer. Other than that my family loved them and said how delicious they were. Delicious! Takes a little longer to get your food and the service is average, but the pupusas are worth the wait.

Food is really good and service is always on time. Plus the chef is excellent with his recipes and the presentation plate is exceptional.

What can I say?! This restaurant went ABOVE and BEYOND in terms of customer service. Best tasting and most authentic food in Whittier. Please do not do yourself dirty and skip out on going here! You will not be disappointed. The restaurant is super clean and do AMAZING take out service. I was thoroughly impressed and it will not be my last time going there! Ordered some takeout pupusas. They were big and not too greasy. I appreciated they added paper between them so they would not get soggy in transit. The loroco bistro plate was the best. I notice this place had 5 stars but still wasn't convinced at its ratings until I tried it myself . We ordered 7 popusas not knowing they were super gigantic ! . I hardly go on yelp to make comments however this restaurant deserves five stars. The food was delicious and tasted like your mom's homemade cooking. The portion was good as well. My parents are from Ecuador , I love food from El Salvador because it reminds me of home. We have similar food. The staff was so kind, professional and welcoming.
