Very fresh, very clean, very fun! As always, I love me some good chips and salsa, they delivered. Excellent and best, all you can eat! So what a way to start the meal! Our server was able to help us with some food choices and was very pleasant. Everything was fresh and excellent. Yes, it will become one of our go to places when visiting Evergreen, Colorado.

Great experience. Quick service with a smile. Good hot food. Best guacamole at a restaurant I have ever had. It was fresh. Atmosphere was grand. Chips and salsa yum. Staff helpful and attentive. In and out efficiently. Try it out you will be glad you did.

This place is amazing! Great food and great service! And they welcomed us, a large table of 7, just as they were closing.

Beat Mexican food ever. The salsa and chips was so deliciousness, the salsa was perfect! The asado pork dish was flavorful and extremely tasty!!! The Chipotle chicken was absolutely amazing. I thought I was at a 5 star French restaurant how the sauce was made. The sangria was great as well. You must try this place. It's the BEST Mexican restaurant I've EVER been to. The churro Sunday was decadent made with vanilla ice cream, hot fudge, and of course, churros with custard filling. 5 stars! The waitress was the best and informative with quick service and did I mention simply adorable! The ambiance is well put together and very clean. Space was relaxing and reminiscent of an outdoor patio.

The staff is very nice but overall the food was subpar. If you're looking for bland "American" style tacos, you'll probably love this place.

Wonderful food at a cute mtn side Mexican restaurant, wonderful and accommodating service too!…read more All tables were served chips and a bean dip and bowl of delicious and flavorful salsa. It was a fantastic way to start off. The appetizer menu had an interesting potato skins option and we got half chicken and half chorizo and both types were so good! We nibbled happily on them while we waited for our food. I ordered mixed fajitas and found the portion generous and the quality of meat to be lovely. It was tender and the veggies were also abundant. It was well seasoned and well cooked not too grilly/burned. The sides it came with were amazing and generous portions too. I got refried beans, rice and the usual fajita mix ins. I also got some cilantro and limes on the side and some of their salsa verde. The salsa verde was spicy and spectacular. My husband got the enchiladas combo trio thing and wow the plate was huge and beautifully plated. He enjoyed the creamy and green one most if I recall. Service was so helpful and kind the entire time and we had leftovers to take home. We have been here a couple times for fun and would definitely come again.

Let me start with service. Sadly I did not catch our waiters name. He greeted us with a smile and got us seated quickly. We were there early at 4:30 because that's how my husband and I roll. He provided just the right amount of time for us to look over the drinks and food before requesting our order. The food was brought out promptly and nice and hot! He checked in with us as well to make sure everything was good. He was always pleasant and smiled every interaction. Drinks I ordered the Mezcarrita. The drink was on point in every way!! Not too sweet but not bland either. It had the right amount of alcohol that I could taste it but it didn't over power the flavor. We also enjoyed a couple of dessert shots of their house made tequila and that stuff was a little too good!! Food Chips and salsa were good and fresh. They provide a fire roasted salsa and what I'm guessing is an avocado salsa. I had the carnitas burrito that came with guacamole, rice and beans. Excellent flavors on all of the items on my plate. Husband had cielo mar y tierra fajitas. Those also came with rice and beans with choice of corn or flour tortillas. He said all of his was fresh tasting and had great flavor. For both of us the spice level could have been a touch more but it was well balanced and appropriate for all sorts of people to enjoy. Portion size allowed us to bring home a second meals worth of food. Atmosphere The place was clean and the seat covers seemed newer without cracks or worn marks on the fabric. It has mountain flair decor with different taxidermy and old west decorations. Very inviting! Over all we will be regulars!! Being 5 mins from us it's very convenient excellent Mexican food and a killer margarita!!

We had our pup, so needed takeout. I called to confirm this was an option, placed our order, and was told it would be about 15min. They asked for my name, which I gave but I also stated my husband would be picking it up and gave his name as well. When he got there, there was a bit of confusion, but he was out of there in a reasonable time. They were quite friendly on the phone and he said that was true in person as well. I got the pollo asada salad - chock full of mushrooms and tender chicken! Not a ton of lettuce, which was OK. Pico, sour cream, and peppery guac on the side. The bowl was light and crispy perfection!... aside from the super soggy bottom. Quite a satisfying meal! My hubby got the fish tacos, which he thoroughly enjoyed. He didn't need dinner later on, either! It was... four? large tacos. Add in the beans and rice - enough for 2 meals at least! Definitely recommend if you're in the area and craving some tasty Mexican food!

AMAZING. OMG. Seriously. Are you a Mexican food lover? Do you like lovely slow cooked meats…read more(carnitas, barbacoa)? This place is OFF THE CHARTS excellent!! We are in Denver for business - and a friend recommend this spot. On our first visit (YES, we are here for only a couple days, but have been twice, so far...and plan one more visit before we leave)...we ordered the Al Pastor Tacos and the smothered Carnitas burrito. I am a HUGE carnitas fan...and this burrito was sublime. It's about the size of two traditional sized enchiladas (not too big)...had an amazing tomatillo sauce...with a wonderful pickled cabbagey thing on top. Seriously, every bit was moist and delicious. Baby had the Al Pastor tacos - which he pronounced "the best I've ever had." So, a couple days later we took my brother (local to Denver). This time, we took the waiter's recommendation (he is also the owner)...and I had the Barbacoa Quesadilla (which comes with Barbacoa "juice" and a nice little hot salsa) - SO great!; Baby had the "pork belly tacos" which, in his description, "Sublime! From a reluctant Mexican food person...those tacos were blessed." (He is Canadian and also not religious...so, this is unheard of...) We are in town for a couple more days...and plan to go back before we leave. We also purchased some of their salsas! Yum...all different, but lovely. No preservatives...just beautiful fresh ingredients. This place is a MUST GO! (Also, good and easy parking for our big truck) Nice outdoor seating with umbrellas! Super service. Our server clearly wants you to enjoy your experience. If I could give this restaurant a 10 star, I would.
