Good service. Fresh salsas with lots of flavor and heat. Nice little casual place. Order at front and they deliver to your table.

We were on our way from Santa Fe to Albuquerque, and wanted to grab a bite. We saw this place and the reviews saying it was an authentic Mexican restaurant. The ambiance was humble. We were the only customers, but assume that it was just after the dinner rush on a Sunday. We were glad to see they had vegetarian and pescatarian options. And man, was the food great! I really loved the salsa bar and the pickled jalapeños. My wife enjoyed her tacos de pescado, and I enjoyed my vegetarian burrito. We will definitely be back again. We didn't have enough appetite to sample the postres, but we'll save room next time.

Overall: Los 6 Hermanos makes some fantastic food and has great service. Food: 4.5 Carne Asada Fries: The fries were hot and crispy and covered in a generous drizzle of guacamole, sour cream, and cheese. I appreciate that they spread it all over instead of just placing discrete scoops. The carne asada was well seasoned. My only complaint is that they added carnitas to it even though it isn't specified in the menu. Although I enjoyed it, my partner was unable to eat it because of that. California Burrito: A typical California burrito is just French fries, carne asada, guac, and sour cream. They added extra sauces to it, but it was a good twist that kept the burrito from feeling yo dry. Cabeza Taco: Excellent, meat was tender and flavorful, and tortilla was delicious. Service: 5 You order at the counter and then a server will bring out your food when it is ready. The lady who took our order was kind enough to bring waters to our table even though we didn't ask for any. Ambiance: 4 This is a small standalone shop with a small parking lot on the side. It is relatively clean.

The soft pescado tacos are delicious. The Carnitas quesadilla was great. Asada tacos were good. Authentic atmosphere. Nice view of the Sandia's.

Very good authentic Mexican restaurant. No frills however. You order at the counter and they bring the food to you. We do not speak Spanish and were able to order but speaking Spanish certainly would have helped. I had the Chile Relleno plate and it was very good.

Gargantuan portions of delicious, authentic Mexican cuisine. (The Wet Burrito is the bomb!) The proprietor, Maria, is gracious and welcoming, and her cheery, squeaky-clean restaurant is clearly a labor of love. Love the bright colors. A feast for the eyes!

Great food, great service, clean and just off the interstate. We had the loaded nachos and tacos, all delicious. Highly recommend!!

As a Mexican with an amazing mom as a cook, I'm very picky when it comes to Mexican restaurants but the high reviews from this place (plus my craving for authentic Mex food) led me to try this place out while I was visiting NM. I was incredibly satisfied with the quality and authenticity of the tacos I ordered (small authentic Mexican sized!) They hook you up with a salsa bar too. My bf ordered the wet burrito after falling in love with the burrito suizos from a restaurant back home, and he was not disappointed with his choice. Be sure to try their delicious horchata as well!

Great food and friendly staff! Haven't had anything there that isn't good. Rice and beans have flavor like home!

FOOD: They gave us a lemongrass mocktail for our anniversary, and it was super refreshing with nice citrus aromatics. Light but has some complex notes plus the citrus rind hits you and invites you to try the drink before you actually drink! Originally offered champagne but we opted for a non-alcoholic option. The bread with house honey butter was good, but nothing special other than the fact that they source their honey from their own bees. The beet "carpaccio" tasted good but was really more of an arugula salad--I wanted more actual beet and grapefruit. The beet is thinly sliced, but because of the sheer volume of the arugula, it feels like the beet takes a backseat. It's a good salad but different than my expectations, not really a carpaccio. Wish there chunks of beet along with thinly sliced beet and more grapefruit Duck taco was pretty good! Duck is juicy and still has some fatty portions but paired will with crisp of taco and the acidity + crisp of the pickled onion. The creamy sauces helped but I wish there was slightly more kick. The bison tenderloin had great flavor (the sweetness and acidity of blueberry worked very well with the butter) but the small portion size really overshadowed the taste. Corn grit and mushrooms were a fine compliment, but not very cohesive. The Cerdo Frito was tasty, and the red chili sauce wasn't too spicy and actually reminded me more of southern Mexican food/sauce (oaxaca). The fried pork was a good amount and if you ate it fast enough, still had some crunch of the fried batter AMBIANCE: Very on theme with the Tamaya/Pueblo culture. Not too stuffy of a "steakhouse" that you have to wear long pants or blazer. Definitely okay for elevated couple dates/dinners, business dinners, and even okay to bring younger families. It was very dark and dimly lit. With some windows that really help lighting. but once the sun sets, it gets pretty dark. SERVICE: Very friendly server (first day), fast pacing--maybe too fast. They cleared plates the moment one of us was done. The kitchen mixed up desserts twice, which was more funny than frustrating, but still a miss. PRICE: Pricey but expected for resort fine dining.

The resort is in Santa…read moreAna Pueblo, which is about 25 minutes outside Albuquerque and another 50 minutes from Santa Fe (though with the conference schedule, I was unable to make it to Santa Fe). The property itself is beautiful and expansive, sits on Tamayame land, and at the outset of the conference a member of the Native American tribe welcomed us and shared about the land and setting. The property has with multiple event spaces, an on-site trail, a large gym, and several pools. It is a fairly large resort (our room was at one end, so it was about a 7-10 minute walk to the main lobby area). Each day began with a large breakfast buffet, and lunch was similarly well done. One of the highlights was being able to sit outside during meals at large tables overlooking the grounds, mountains, trees, and fresh air made for a really peaceful setting. For breakfast, I enjoyed the red/green chilies chilaquiles (New Mexican style breakfast), it was very flavorful and I enjoyed trying but was very spicy/heavy. From a conference and events perspective, the resort is very impressive. There is a large main conference room with a stage, and the room can accommodate over 100 people (at round tables), along with many smaller breakout rooms. Over two evenings, we attended events at different venues on the property, one about a 10-minute walk away (with hotel mini-bus transportation available), and another closer to the main area under a tent. The more distant venue was quite large and set apart, likely used for weddings and larger celebrations. That evening included a buffet dinner, DJ, dancing, and multiple bar setups. The second evening closer to the main hotel was a seated dinner under a tent, with music and performances in a more contained setting. There is also a nice bar and restaurant in the lobby, as well as another more casual restaurant by the pool. Given time constraints, I was not able to fully take advantage of all the amenities (including the spa, horseback riding, and longer trail walks), but I would absolutely recommend this property. It is incredibly scenic, serene, and feels immersed in nature, and I would gladly return.

I ordered, got the email confirmation, was given to ETA of an hour. Food didn't come, so I went to check and it turns out after 11:00pm, you need to call for room service. Frustrating because it lets you place the order online and does not tell you the 11pm rule.
