The line wasn't too long and our meals were prepared reasonably quickly (would have been faster but I think there was a miscommunication with respect to my taco plate, so they had to prepare it after my wife's food was already ready to go). Everything in my combo plate was pretty darn good, although the tacos were a little barebones and could have maybe benefited from some extra flavors. The guacamole was NOT good so I would definitely recommend you stay away from it. They have burrito bowls and great rice and beans. They also have a delicious campechana that will have you coming back for more. Food was prepared very quickly. I got 3 tacos, and they really piled on the meat for each taco. The corn tortillas also were soft, but strong. They felt pretty fresh. I'm someone that prefers a good amount of salsa on my tacos, but I think even for a regular person, these tacos were pretty dry, and a little bland. The meat itself had some flavor and seasoning, but I felt each taco get kinda boring half way through. Maybe there was even too much meat? This is a hidden gem at Pike Place. We were starving after walking around and standing in line at virtually every other thing we did. We walked by and quickly turned around to see what they had available. So many options! I wanted the breakfast bowl and asked which meats they had available and the lovely lady gave me a whole list. Naturally, I went with the chorizo. Let me tell you- the chorizo is delicious. The breakfast bowl comes with potatoes, meat, egg, pico de Gallo, and a healthy portion of guacamole. Guacamole was extremely tasty as well. I was so grateful to have something so filling. My husband ordered the taco plate. He got three different meat tacos. The company went from small backyard catering, and having a dream to cook fantastic food for anyone to enjoy. They started cooking bigger and bigger until word started spreading of their affordable prices and upscale take on simple Mexican dishes such street tacos with a kick of flavor. (I Love tacos always have but really upped my taco intake while work a 60 hour work weeks in the past and wanted something to cook less than 30 mins and could still taste great. ) You can not beat their prices for the large portions, great vibes and bomb tacos. So when we started planning our elaborate Star Wars themed wedding back in 2017 of course we wanted tacos! The hunt was on for our epic street taco with a work class budget. Won't lie it was exhausting and fun at the same time. We went out every weekend : searched Taco Fest in Capitol Hill at volunteer Park , Street Taco fest in westlake, Tacoma tacos for all and the list goes on until one day we randomly found this hidden gem tucked in between my favorite spice shop El Mercado Latino and Frank's produce ! After touring pike place, a friend and I decided on this Mexican spot due to the good looking food and the fact that the other Mexican spot did not take credit. The servers were kind and gave recommendations for items on the menu. They even let us try two of the meats. We also didn't buy a drink, but there was fortunately a water fountain around the corner near the bathroom to deal with the spicy hot sauce. I ordered the Pork Taco and Los Agaves Papusa ($8) as two separate items. I asked for spicy sauces, and it was too spicy to eat without any water. The taco was pretty good, but it was my first time eating a Papusa and it was really good. It was a freshly cooked dough Patty with meat inside. The contrast of soft dough and juicy pork was nice. I also appreciated the time on the side which allowed me to add some needed acidity to each dish. I'd rate this place is an above average spot for pike place. This place is family owned. The workers were very lively and friendly, working efficiently and providing excellent service. I chatted with them a bit while I waited for my order to be processed. They gave me some good insider tips about Seattle, to include my next stop: the Space Needle. I ordered a breakfast burrito, which came with very generous portions of chicken, egg, cheese, and other ingredients. The burrito was amazing! It was a good level of spiciness to it, which only made it taste even better! After I got done, the workers there told me of a coffee shop on the top floor. They directed me on how to get there, and I would not have known about it had they not told me. This place was most definitely a good lunch stop. I highly recommend them! read more

Los Agaves is a vendor at a number of farmers markets around town including the Crossroads Farmers Market in Bellevue on Tuesdays. The menu is simple consisting of tacos, tamales, nachos, huaraches and drinks. I was actually leaning towards getting the huaraches, which look like a pupusa or flatbread with toppings on top. It is something that I have not seen before. But the price was a bit steep and a bit too large. $10 for one with meat and $7 with veggies. So I decided to go the ol' reliable route and tried the tacos (3 for $5). They have three varieties of tacos to choose from. Pork, chicken and steak. I went with the steak. It is a very simple, but good preparation. Pieces of steak with cilantro and onion on two pieces of corn tortillas for each taco. Very hearty Mexican fare. Though I must admit it feels odd to eat tacos without any diced tomatoes on top since I am used to that type of preparation. Nevertheless, this is reasonably priced good tacos that fill you up. If you happen to visit a farmers market that Los Agaves is at, the tacos there are well worth a try if you are looking for a quick bite. read more

Stopped by here during my visit to the Pike Place market and this was a great surprise! I made sure to Yelp it before I tried it, and I was very satisfied by my experience here. I ordered two lengua tacos and an horchata. The horchata was probably one of the best that I've had. The cinnamon flavor was strong and it wasn't as sweet which was good. The tacos were also delicious! There was a huge portion of the beef tongue and the cilantro was fresh. Best of all, all of it cost me $6. Super sweet deal! And I was definitely full afterwards. This place is good for to-go orders since there is very limited seating, but if you're lucky and there's a spot, it's pretty convenient to just sit and finish your quick meal. read more

This place is hands down the best chorizo breakfast burrito ever. It's hidden in one of the open areas of the market and they're open before the rest meaning I can grab food before I start work. They work quick and they are nice. Their chorizo burrito is large, piping hot, the meat is a little sour but it pairs so well with the cheese which is a little sweet and the sauce which is spicy. From last min changes due to COVID to great pricing. We had plenty of food and great bussing and bartending. They packaged all the food at the end of the night. Made sure we knew where everything was left and cleaned up after themselves. They provided amazing service overall and we could not have asked for anything better. The food was amazing.
