My mom went to this place to get her key reprogrammed and experienced a high level of unprofessionalism. We waited for them to do this service, that should have taken 30 minutes, for three hours. Plus, when scheduling the required appointment, the person who was in charge of scheduling forgot to schedule the appointment causing us to return a day later. Unbelievably frustrating! Took a car key purchased from Amazon and they cut it wrong, then told me the blank key was incorrect and charged me over $150 to get a key from them. Took the same exact blank Amazon key they cut with me to Ace hardware in Long Beach and they recut the same key and programmed it for $40. Los Al Lock Service had cut the blank incorrectly on purpose to sell their own overpriced key. I say on purpose because the Ace guy said no competent locksmith would have cut the key so incorrectly to not match the original key. Never going back here. Our business is located in Los Alamitos also. Robert and Los Alamitos Lock has again saved the day and for a great price. We have security cameras that Robert and his crew installed in 2019.
