    Nachos with beef

Stopped by here while waiting to check in our hotel. Wonderful view of the marina while sitting on the patio. Plenty of fans to keep you cool. We ordered beers and a margarita. Beer was cold and margarita good. We ordered nachos with beef. Asked for pico and jalapeños. Nachos were very good. Perfect amount of food. Each chip covered with beans, cheese, and beef. Nice relaxing light lunch. Our waiter was good and provided friendly service.

The service was quick to order and a bit longer to get the food. The portions are really big and they cater more to locals than tourists. For the prices, I'm not sure how the locals get here as I felt the prices were quite high although you are right on the marina and close to everything. The food was decent and I'd return if very hungry. The fruit and avocado were fresh which always matters and everything was very good.

3.5 stars. Friendly staff. Much quicker service than Mr Cream's next door. Dishes not quite as elevated as some of the other restaurants around here but solid place. Chilaquiles is pretty good.

We love our neighbors across the street and frequently treat ourselves to their delicious meals. There is always a smile and greeting from them. Friendly and great food is what they do best. We usually sit outside, but it's high tourist season, so we had no problem sitting inside for the first time. Nice! There always is a queue for a table. It's first come first serve.

    Chilaquiles poblanos very tasty.

Very delicious breakfast, fast service. The poblano chilaquiles were tasty. Would come again.

Beautiful view of the harbor and the million dollar yachts docked there. Very friendly and efficient service. Good food and very generous and beautifully presented fresh fruit platter.

This place is great for a traditional Mexican breakfast of beans, chilaquiles, beef and eggs. Sometimes they have some fresh baked pan dulces and that's really good. I love ordering the large cup of fresh squeezed orange juice or green juice. Just an all around nice place to get filled up so you're pretty much set for the rest of your day for whatever activity.

Solid 4.5, maybe 4.75. Great breakfast. The wait staff was very accommodating. I accidentally tried this place while ubering to another place and the driver was confused and so was I and then realized this was not where i was headed but - roll with it right? I had poblano eggs. OMG I could swim and drown in that sauce. I also had part of a waffle and it was very good. Finally, the Mexican coffee was fantastic. Dont be an a-- and just go for the American coffee. You will be missing out. All that food for $250 pesos. This is why Americans retire to Mexico. I get it.

Great atmosphere, wait staff is great and friendly but their food isn't really that great. We ordered a few appetizers the queso fundido was good but the guacamole didn't really have taste and was too pricey for just mashed avocado. Their alcoholic drinks were too watery & flavorless. I ordered the fish tacos & they we're disgusting. The fish wasn't even fresh, had zero flavor and the sauce they paired it with was too sweet. I've def had better in the states! Save your money and find another place.

We came here twice during our weeklong stay at the Westin. We stumbled upon this restaurant by accident. I wanted to go to Mariscos Ocho Tostadas but we walked in the wrong direction and had to make a circle to get back on the right track. When we found this restaurant, it was the only busy restaurant. Others were open, but none of them had lines for lunch. I ordered the machaca burritos (lovely flavor, deceptively filling and the beans were good. I usually never eat the beans) while he ordered the alcatres platter (he was amazed that the meat was so tender). Service was friendly and even gave us a coupon for 10% off our next visit and so we did! The boy was so infatuated that he wanted to come back for breakfast before we headed back to the states. For our second time, he ordered the same meal. I ordered the French toast (too much sugar for my liking. I spent most of my time scraping it off and the bread was still mushy from the egg in some places, very size able portion) since my stomach wasn't feeling very good. He ordered orange juice and they came in large margarita sized glasses so you get your money's worth! Overall, if you're in the area, I would recommend it. This is their third location and their Mexican dishes are good.

This is another place that attempts to take on the American breakfast, but has Mexican influences. This is probably why there aren't as many white people that eat here (or maybe because the restaurant name isn't in English so they get confused and don't know what to do). The staff is friendly and attentive. **Waffle w/ eggs/bacon - The waffle came out kinda cold, but the bacon was pretty spot on. **Chilaquiles - Pretty good, every place makes it differently, and since it was the simple kind here, maybe that's why it was better than other places. The beans are smooth, a tad salty. **Omelette - Custom comes with beans/chilaquiles **Coffee - It wasn't that good, kinda tasted watery. They have another option (cafe de la olla, which is made differently that regular drip coffee), and it tastes pretty bad so watch out and the 'american' version **Pancake - A little on the tougher side, but still soft This place is a fine try, as I stated it does have Mexican variations on the dishes so be aware. For the most part I enjoyed the food and the ambiance.

Impressed and then some!…read more A bit skeptical, as it was under new management, but Senõr Carrera and his partner, the chef, took such great care of us and did an AMAZING job from presentation to flavor to making us feel welcome and appreciated. (Disclaimer: Please overlook any gringa estupida Spanglish grammar errors.) Gracias amigos! This place is a hidden GEM. The prices were off-the-charts reasonable and the lobsters were HUGE! Being from the Midwest, mì amigas lobsters would've been close to double, if not more, what we paid. It's not those tiny tails like you get at red lobster either, that jumbo shrimp rival for size. These lobsters were legit! I've seen smaller chihuahuas... We had a party of 6 and no one complained about a single dish, flavor, spice, drink. Sr. Mauricio was fun and attentive. Guacamole was good. Calamari was amazing! Please get it. Best several of us has ever eaten. Not over cooked and spongy. Just fantastico. Perfecto! Get in a taxi and go there. Now. Then go again. Your stomach AND pocketbook will having a full on fiesta! It's colorful and has murals and is just a beautiful experience. We have 3 more days here and we might even go again. We will see what the universe tells us we need in México! Olé!
