It's u fortunate that i should write this. I have been to Los Amigos many times in different capacities. what's with these restaurants that are never happy to see a customers, a door dasher or anyone else. They are not receptive in any way. It's seems that they are bothered by people. In my 60 years of life i have never been to a restaurant who never has a smile for anyone. You just lost another customer. This restaurant has been a staple in Easley since the early 90s. I have never had a bad meal here. Ever. I have ordered everything from chicken chimichangas to vegetarian options. Yesterday was a vegetarian day. I ordered the vegetarian A, this dish comes with a bean burrito, a cheese enchilada, and a bean tostada. The food as always is consistently good. Lunch on a Sunday with one of my great nieces was fun. One should never turn down a free meal! Service was kinda of slow from our waiter, Lazaro Estrella. We had to ask for the complimentary chips and salsa from another waiter that just happened to pass by. My niece asked for more salsa, this time from Lazaro who brought more salsa, but no chips even though he saw the chips were low. When he finally did bring more chips, we were almost finished with our dinner. For my order I got the Quesadilla Mexicana and my niece got a burrito with rice and a salad. My meal came with a choice of rice or beans, guacamole, shredded lettuce, sour cream and a tomato slice. My food experience was better this time. The food presentation was nice, the shredded chicken was tender and seasoned. The rice was cooked with no uncooked rice. I really enjoyed my meal, and it's always nice to spend time with family. Stopped by Los Amigos for a gift card and decided to stay for happy hour! I had another one of their big ass margaritas which I was regrettably unable to finish this time. It was so strong, and even after literally watering it down with a glass of water I was only able to drink about half. At least it was worth the money and I truly hated to waste. The food was great! Eaten here probably 25 times in my life, since I grew up here. It was at its best - ok, especially compared to other nearby choices. I went recently when visiting family and no where else was open on Sunday. The steak meat was like burnt chewy shoelaces, so in the end this place has only gotten worse than I remembered. Probably one of the worst Mexican restaurants I have been to, and I've been to many Mexican restaurants. We waited at least 10 minutes before our server came over to take our drink order. Not the most friendly, but I'd be sour too if I worked at a Mexican restaurant that served food like this. Salsa was fresh.... Fresh out of a can. Super bland. Cheese dip was not much better.... Tasted like cream with a little bit of cheese added to it. Again, almost no flavor. 5 minutes after we ordered it our table of 6's food came out. Thats including Shrimp fajitas, carne asada tacos, and 4 orders of regular beef taco combo plates. There is only one explanation for this: a majority of the food was pre-made. If I had to guess based on the steak and beef, it was sitting on a steam table. Dry and you guessed it.... Bland. Rice was dry, beans were so salty they weren't edible. Shrimp was also extremely salty. I can't say that I'd ever come back unless I wanted food in 5 minutes and couldn't taste it. read more

The food is good, but PAY ATTENTION when you are ordering take out there. Some of the employees will cheat you if they can! They will charge you the dinner price when it's lunch time, AND add a charge for the chips and salsa that always come with your meal at no extra charge. I'm a creature of habit and always order the exact same meal. I didn't realize I was being ripped off to begin with and paid almost $16 on two occasions for something that was only supposed to be around $11. The third time I went in, I was charged the correct price and found out then that's what I was supposed to have been charged the other two times! From then on, when they tried to overcharge me, I called them out on it and they gave me he correct price. That's why they get only 3 stars read more

Probably one of the top Mexican restaurants in Easley. The salsa and quest dip here are superb. Tacos here are also great. It has just the right amount of cheese to meat to lettuce ratio. The chili relleno was only okay though. I like the fact that it came with a lot of cheese and meat, but there was so much that the pepper disappeared. It would be a whole lot better if you can actually taste the chili, let alone see it. Otherwise, great food for a fantastic price. read more

We love the food here but our waiter antonio was extremely rude. as we were ordering someone at our table i guess was taking to long to say what he wanted and the waiter said he would be back to get his order after he took 2 more tables orders we had to flag him down just to give him the order. He never once asked us if we needed anything and the one time we had to flag him down to get some more salsa he acted like it was the worst thing ever. Restaurant was very busy on Sunday afternoon. Very clean and nice looking place. Server seemed extremely rushed and wasn't all that friendly. The mild salsa is basically tomato sauce. The spicy salsa has more flavor but not very spicy. The cheese dip was water thin but flavor was decent. I ordered the #1 combo (taco, 2 enchiladas snd rice or beans). The beans were delicious. The meat in the tacos and enchiladas were not seasoned at all. So overall it was just OK. If you want mexican in the Easley area, I would recommend Los Compadres. read more

Los Amigos has multiple locations and is a staple of Easley/Powdersville, but it's become pretty pricey lately! I mean, we go there because we have limited options for sit-down restaurants in the area, and we know what to expect. We walk in prepared for the slow service and mediocre food, but are usually appeased by the beer and margaritas. But, lately the margaritas have been too sweet (as in, too much of the mix and not enough of the liquor), and the bills have been too high. read more

Be going there for 15 years. This was bad. They messed up the order but then fixed it. One-third of the staff had no mask at all. One-third wore them wrong. The manager was not wearing anything. Service here is the worst I have ever seen. The first time we ate here the gave us the wrong food. Decided to give it one more chance. Second trip was worse. Brought 7 family members. They brought everyone's meal but mine which came 20 minutes after everyone else. I told them to just keep it and the waiter didn't even acknowledge the mistake.
