Disappointing. Went to the Stadium Drive location once and picked up food there once and it was good. Not sure what is going on at this location. This place needs a good cleaning and some repairs. Broken chairs, ripped booth cushions, etc. They were not busy at all and the men's room smelled awful. The worst thing was an open bag of trash on a table in a room where no customers were seated, but that needed to be taken out of there immediately. The website showed happy hour every day (this was Sunday) and we were told no. It said they had Modelo Negra on tap. No. We had to ask for more tortilla chips and we asked for hotter salsa 3 times before they brought it. I had to ask for a water refill. They didn't ask if we wanted more drinks. My brother in law got a Burrito Monterey and it was good, he was happy with it. I've had it before and I agree, it's good. This is the most positive thing about this visit. I got a Burrito Grande with chicken. Only OK, but not enough flavor. My sister ordered Ostiones Pacifica (oysters and shrimp). The server said it would take about 20 minutes. We were fine with that. After about 20 minutes, they brought out or burritos and figured her oysters would be next. Another 10-15 minutes passed before she got her food. No apologies. We went at 3 PM on Sunday, the time they advertised the happy hour started, so they were not busy. Only about 6 other tables at the time. No excuse for this. They charge a fee to pay with a credit card on top of it all. Adios, Amigos! read more

I've been to a few of the Los Amigos in town and always enjoyed my meals, but today was the worst. The service was horrible, which we were surprised about because we had about 3 people rushing over to our table right away. But then they just kind of ignored us. There was live music and it was way too loud! Like we couldn't even hear ourselves loud! Finally someone in my party asked to move to another area of the restaurant and they were more than willing to help. But our server never came back! Didn't know if no one told him we moved... Usually the food comes out very quick, and I was always impressed on how they carry all the plates at once! This time it took forever! And there wasn't a lot of people in the place! Honestly most of the staff just looked like they were watching and singing with the musicians the whole time we were there. Finally our food came and the 2 kids taco plates came after the rest of the food. We finished eating and no one came back to check on us again. We had to get up to go find a sever- turns out our server left and they never told our table or assigned a new server to us! Unfortunately with so many restaurants we will not be going back. I hope all the Los Amigos around town aren't the same, because the food is decent. read more

The food is good, we ordered one of the specials, six steak and 4 chicken tacos to go. The steak in the tacos was so dried it looked like dried dog food, my son swears that his taco meat wasn't chicken, instead it was fish. Their margaritas were really good, and of course you can't mess up a couple of beers. The service was great, this poor guy, was the cashier, bartender, waiter and everything in between, but he did it with a smile. Nice spot for a date, casual dinner out or family gathering. The food and service were great and the drinks were priced reasonably well for their size. I was very happy with the experience and my meal at Los Amigos recently. The space is quite large and we were seated towards the back bar area with plenty of room around us so we didn't feel crammed in. Our server was super polite and attentive. Your meal starts with complimentary chips and salsa, so don't make the same mistake that I do EVERY time and completely gorge on them so you're too full when your dinner arrives. (Please tell me I'm not the only one who does this.) The menu is massive, so try to review it online ahead of time or be prepared to spend some time at the restaurant reading over the multiple pages! They have one section of dinner combos that are basically every combination you could think of, mixing up tacos, chalupas, enchiladas, burritos - all the best things! I love Mexican food so it was a little hard for me to decide what to get. I ultimately went with the enchiladas supremas, which is one chicken, one beef, one cheese, and one bean enchilada, covered in red sauce and served with sour cream. Nate got the carne asada burrito. The food came out quickly and everything was hot. My enchiladas were super tasty and stuffed with filling. My favorite was the gooey cheese enchilada, but all of them were good. I had a few bites of the steak from Nate's burrito and it was savory and delicious! I would definitely suggest this place again the next time we're in town! I am a huge fan of Mexican food but my experience lately here has been less thank awesome! The free chips...and good thing they were free were all broken and clearly from the bottom of the bin. The salsa that comes with them was excellent though, so i appreciate that! I ordered shrimp tacos, Mexican style (onions and cilantro) and added a little hot sauce and salsa. They are served on 2 corn tortillas but were soaked in grease so they fell apart really easily :( All-in-all, I think the staff was just tossing things together in the kitchen and not taking much time to make the meal solid. read more

I loved the portion size however, the enchiladas were decent ( for me) and unfortunately, I do much of my reviews based on my kid's reactions. His burrito was not made to our order, it was to soggy and taste was "ok". The churros looked pretty on the plate but we have had way better! service was not very good, never got asked for refills or got checked on. overall, i was on the fence of returning but my son did not like the food so...... I'm from Austin, Texas and we know Mexican food down there, I'll say this place did a great job. I had the Carne Asada and my Gf the Fajitas, both we're delicious. Presentation was very nice, I imagine the menu is catered to a more Michigan palate so the usual spices weren't present. Our first ever meal at Los Amigos today was excellent. My mother-in-law and I stopped for lunch on Black Friday. We were famished after four hours of shopping. Warm tortilla chips and salsa were brought to our table as we browsed the menu, which had many choices. I ordered the seafood chimichanga; she got the #18 combination platter. Food arrived hot and the portions were generous. We both enjoyed our meals and the authentic Mexican atmosphere. My only (very minor) complaint is that the waiter didn't offer drink refills. However the service otherwise was superb. I had to call the restaurant afterward because I left an item behind. They called me back after retrieving it. When I stopped back later in the day, it was safely waiting for me at the cashier's station. Thank you, Los Amigos. read more

Today was a special day. It was my mom's birthday so we went here for it. We had our normal meal which was tasty (as always) and had finished our meal when we heard something in the distance. Another family was celebrating their birthday and the employees of Los Amigos were singing them Happy Birthday. I knew immediately that I would have to embarrass my mom. So, I told the waiter that it was my mom's Birthday. The employees all sang happy birthday to my mom. This experience was extremely fun and I totally recommend it if you ever have a birthday here. read more

I have frequented different locations for years. I think that speaks for itself. The food comes out beyond hot. It's flavorful. Beautiful to look at and the portions are huge. Garbage on phone service don't even try to call and order. You'll be asked to please hold followed by a lady who picks up with no interest of trying to understand what you're saying. She isn't trained for phones being that she doesn't fully understand English. She asked me to call back and then no pick up. read more
