This is a well-deserved 5 star rating for Irwindale Windows…read more The need to replace a sliding glass door in my home was unexpected and urgent. As I worked through that issue, I ultimately decided it made sense to upgrade two additional sliding glass doors and several windows as well. QUICK AND DETAILED RESPONSES TO QUESTIONS - Because one of the doors needed immediate attention, I contacted two vendors and peppered both with questions. I also requested, if possible, quick turnaround times on responses, while making it clear that I understood if that wasn't feasible. Both companies were responsive, professional, and pleasant to work with. Jackie at Irwindale Windows, in particular, was extremely thorough and detailed in answering my questions. COMMITMENT TO MOVING QUICKLY WHILE NEVER OVER-PROMISING - Where Irwindale Windows distinguished itself was in its commitment to moving the project forward quickly while providing realistic timelines. They prioritized getting installers out to take final measurements asap, which was critical because the HOA required a city permit before work could begin. At the same time, Jackie was transparent about manufacturing and delivery schedules and set reasonable expectations. They never overpromised just to win the job. BY MY SIDE DURING CITY PERMITTING PROCESS - Jackie went above and beyond by accompanying me to the City Planning and Building Departments to help ensure all the necessary information was available for the permit application process. Her presence at the Building Department made a critical difference in getting the permit approved on a Friday afternoon rather than having the process delayed until the following week. OUTSTANDING, PROFESSIONAL INSTALLERS - When it came time for installation, Daniel and Alex were outstanding. They completed the work professionally and with attention to detail. Rather than making assumptions, they checked with me whenever questions arose, which resulted in installation details being handled exactly the way I wanted. They took excellent care in protecting furniture and surrounding areas, cleaned up thoroughly at the end of each day, and were always friendly and easy to communicate with. UNDER-COMMITTED AND OVER-DELIVERED WITH A REASONABLE PRICE PROINT - I especially appreciate small local businesses that under-commit and over-deliver. That's exactly what Irwindale Windows did throughout this entire project. Their pricing wasn't the lowest or the highest, but it felt fair given the level of service, support, and quality they delivered. From customer service and permitting support to installation quality and follow-through, they exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend Irwindale Windows.

Alex and Daniel did a great job keeping things clean during the installation, using plastic covers to protect the furniture. They cleaned up at the end of each day. I would recommend Irwindale Windows without reservation. Maria L.

Michael Crooks was very responsive as a company rep and everything he quoted was delivered just as he said. The quality of the shower is excellent and we love the Koehler fixtures. We chose black on white to assist those with visual deficits and really like how they turned out! The fold down seat is also a plus for those with endurance challenges! The demolition andinstallation team of Jose, Gabriel and Jairo could not have done a better job! They were timely, efficient and professional. They demolished the shower and tub one day and took away all the debris. Then, the next day, they built the frame and installed the new walk in shower exactly as we requested. They were pleasant to have on our property and we're considerate in where they set up their workstation and parked their trucks. We did have a challenge posed by the installation day with company coming to visit us... And they worked out a mutually agreed upon date that met our needs. I highly recommend this company.. ask for this team of installers! You won't regret it!!

    Paul's Windows

    Montecito Heights

(This review includes a response to the business owner's reply)…read more I had a deeply disappointing experience with Paul's Windows, and I want to share it so that other homeowners know what to expect before working with this company. I reached out for a small bedroom window replacement and had one key requirement: that the new window, once installed, provide a minimum clear opening height of 13 inches. The sales associate, Art, confirmed via text that the manufacturer (Crystal Pacific) said it would: 13.1875", in fact. That was fine by me. But when I asked for that specification to be confirmed in the contract, in writing, Art refused. Let me be clear: I wasn't asking for a personal warranty on the product. I simply wanted confirmation that the installed window, as ordered and managed by Paul's Windows, would meet the functional requirement I had clearly communicated. Art repeatedly deflected, referring to "what the manufacturer said," but was unwilling to take responsibility for the result. When I asked for accountability, he became dismissive and eventually walked away from the job. I contacted Paul directly, hoping for a more professional response. Instead, I received a generic brush-off and a claim that the window wouldn't meet the specs, which contradicts what their own sales associate had already confirmed. Worse, Paul didn't acknowledge or engage with any of the valid concerns I raised around basic customer service, transparency, or professional responsibility. Ultimately, I wasn't asking for anything unreasonable. I was hiring a company to manage a job and deliver a specific result. If something went wrong, say, the manufacturer provided a window that didn't meet the spec, it would be on the contractor to resolve it, not on me to go chase down the supplier. That's what any responsible company would do. But Paul's Windows made it clear they don't see it that way. If you're okay with vague communication, contractors who won't stand behind their own work, and potentially being left to deal with problems on your own, maybe this company is fine. But if you want clarity, professionalism, and accountability in writing, then look elsewhere. § Paul's response below is a classic damage control move -- polite on the surface, but full of deflection and quiet rewriting of events. To clarify: the window in question would have met the required 13" clear opening. That wasn't in dispute. Art, their sales associate, confirmed that in writing and was fully prepared to proceed with the job -- until I asked for a simple written accountability. That's the moment everything fell apart. Paul's follow-up misrepresents the timeline and sidesteps the core issue -- not whether the window would fit, but whether the company was willing to stand behind the result they were being paid to deliver.

After signing the contract the windows were ordered and arrived in about 3 weeks. The installation team worked quickly and Art was there to see it complete. Retrofitted the windows to fit in my existing frames to avoid having to work on the wall. Added the grids to match the style of the old windows since I have a condo and HOA would probably have an issue if not everyone's windows matched since it's a shared building.
