If you've never been here, you place your order at the counter and they bring you chips and salsa to start. The service is fast and the employees are very friendly. There are a number of booths and tables, enough for most anytime you come. The ambiance is your typical colorful counter and basic tables. But I love it. Can't beat the food. Employees are great. Third time I have ordered a steak burrito, I cannot get one or two bites in before I get chunks of fat, gristle, or other hard pieces. I find myself having to spit out every couple bites. I just gave up and threw it out. Gave it three tries cannot order steak anything. Disappointed it was not always like this. read more

I have been to this fine Mexican joint 50 times over the last 10 years. It is excellent food. Quick and inexpensive. Extremely clean and neat. Friendly people. Good food the whole time, no loss in their excellence This is a sit down joint that is as quick or quicker than your typical fast food restaurant. I've ordered take out from here like 3 times in the last 2 weeks. Just recently discovered this taqueria and so glad I did. I always get steak burritos with added sour cream and guacamole. It's so good! Giant sized burrito for 6.79 but after adding sour cream and guacamole my burrito cost me $8.79. I think the prices are very reasonable and the food is delicious and generous portions. My husband used to order from this location very frequently for delivery and enjoyed the food. He tried going in for the first time and the woman at the counter pointedly but silently refused to serve him- she even met his eyes as he waited politely, and then served another customer who arrived minutes after my husband stood awkwardly waiting. We have no idea why she would ignore him... the only difference he could see between himself and the customers who were served before and after he arrived is his race. My boyfriend and I came here for the first time to support a local business. The complimentary chips and salsa (that come in the cup) are amazing! I could have eaten several cups of that salsa! Overall the food we ordered was pretty good. My boyfriend got a burrito and he liked it. I got chicken enchiladas with the verde sauce. I didn't love the chicken enchiladas but the rice and beans tasted very fresh. The service wasn't the best and there wasn't that many people in there when we went. We went there for a late lunch on a Thursday and the place was pretty packed for that time. We got the carne asada with flour tortilla and 2 tacos. The order came to about $20 for 2 people and we ate in so they gave us chip and salsa while we were waiting for our food to come out. The carne asada was a rice plate, which I was mistakenly expecting to be carne asada fries. The plate had rice, lettuce, 1 slice of tomato, pinto beans, some guac, and about 3 slice of meat. Overall, it was mediocre food for a pretty expensive price. The restaurant wasn't fancy or anything and I am so used to cheap Mexican food so I was pretty disappointed with the price and quality. I am surprised my Californian classmates were raving about this since we are pretty spoiled with delicious, authentic, and cheap Mexican food in CA. I guess they lowered their expectations for suburbs Mexican food. They have a small parking lot and it is one way so if you can't find a spot, you would have to drive all the way around the building and back again to find another spot..
