And out of the many loss burritos I've eaten at I've been also tremendously blessed this is why the tastiest ones I have the pleasure of eating it.. My request from other individuals is give the chain restaurants a little bit of a break and even though this is a franchise it's a small family thing.. Okay, this place is pretty strange. First off the veggie burrito contained no veggies, literally just beans that ejected themselves from the tortilla instantly. The place is laid out like it used to be a spa - salsas were okay with one being actually pretty good, decent chips too. Idk man, the Japanese music with the water falling from the bamboo fountain that was displayed on the 32 inch TV wasn't doing it for me. My friend was particularly disturbed by the glass jar containing fruit and vegetables suspended in a liquid of sorts. The fella was nice, he gave me chips so how could I not like him. Love the authentic Mexican food. Burritos, tacos? Enchiladas and homemade salsas.. So many choices and marinated vegetables even my 90 year old mom loved them on her chicken enchilada..many salsas to of all different flavors and colors and levels of spiciness. Great relaxed atmosphere. Owner Eddie is very nice and love Richie the cashier. Order food from home. Inside was nice and clean not much business on a wed lunch. Got carne Asada burrito like other reviews says the meat was very salty. The meat was also mushy not like cubed. Salsa bar had 3 options and it was good. Servers was nice and there is a sign at register asking to pay in cash. read more

I've been coming here for over 35 years, since I was 5. After the change of ownership, I wanted to remain a faithful customer and give the new owner a chance. Since then , the quality and taste of the food has greatly declined. This past week, it was the first time where I couldn't finish eating my meal as the asada was overly salty and not the same quality. Truly an end of an era . As a restaurant owner myself , my advice to the new owners: bring back the original quality and recipes. We usually order the red beef burrito , If you're familiar with this place, you know it comes with red sauce now it doesn't. SO disappointed. I used to go here EVERY week but I will not go back. This business was sold or is under new management. Since the new people have taken over I got a bay leaf in my burrito....ok...stuff happens. The beans were dry and the chicken tasted "off". I went back a couple of weeks later and ordered a chicken tostada. This time I got a bone! And, their best employee is gone (Richey). I went back today for another chicken tostada and I got the bonus of a bone and another bay leaf. It was SO dry and no chips included which has always been the case. I will be happy to drive a few more minutes and get a chicken tostada from Joselito's which has been consistent for years. It also smelled really weird in there when I picked up my order. Super disappointed, and tbh, a bit heartbroken. My family and I have been eating here for almost 40 years. Unlike other recent reviews, I haven't noticed big recipe changes, but I have noticed a that there is almost no meat in their tacos and taquitos. The taquitos are now super tough and hard to bite through because almost complete lack of meat (less than a quarter inch of meat that doesn't reach the ends) has resulted in the tortillas being rolled tighter, therefore being super thick. And now the (crispy) tacos have short strip of meat smaller than a woman's finger, this is compensated by an over abundance of lettuce and cheese which makes them just taste bad. I am ok with a bunch of cheese, but not when it is used to fill up the taco to hide that there is barely any meat. Also I have noticed altogether smaller portions. But on a positive note , the customer service is phenomenal, as usual. Always awesome every time I come in. To the new owners: Please consider returning the food to what has kept customers loyal for decades. There was a reason Los Burritos was special, part of it is the great customer service, but the food quality is now pretty horrible. read more

I had a chicken tostada and their delicious refried beans, the best refried beans you will ever have. Of course my favorite server Richey was there with his fabulous personality, so nice and so friendly and helpful. The owner was there as he is every time I go there with his charismatic personality working hard as ever. As always, I highly recommend this Mexican restaurant. Had my wife get us two orders of the Charbroiled Chicken Plate. Let me tell you it was the best tasting smoked flavored grilled chicken that I have had for a long time. The plates come with salad and re fried beans with cheese and a side of chips. Normally you would get the rice and beans , but we choose to have the salad instead of the rice. The salad has lettuce and chunks of tomatoes and cheese and a heaping of Guacamole. Also comes with tortillas either corn or flour. There was two large slices of grilled chicken on each plate. I enjoy eating the chicken with the refried beans and cheese. I was full just eating this and will save my salad for later. I am glad that this place finally opened back up.
