I ordered what I think was one of the most visually disgusting meals I've ever seen. My husband talked me into the meat and cheese nachos. What arrived was a pile of cheese covering shedded beef. Chips on the edge were burnt and the hole pile, which once must have been 3 inches tall, had sunk to nearly the edge of the plate, warning of what was inside. The grease from the meat turned the chip soft and orange. Trying to rescue a meal, I dug under the soggy chips to find piles of grease chips, disgusting meat and sad cheese. After digging out about 8 crisp chips and finding some partly crisp peices, the pile that looked like it had already been through a digestive system, went into the garbage. Most expensive handful of chips I've had in my life, nicely contrasted with the stomach churning view. read more

This is one of my favorite places to eat in the area. I love the Seafood Enchiladas but the other items on the menu are just as good. The staff is always friendly and the service is excellent. I've never walked out of Los Cabos hungry. I don't think you can beet the value for the food you get. read more

Don't let the other reviews deter you, this place is exceptional! Los cabos is family owned and my husband and I drive 30 miles every time we come here because we live in Kirkland but cannot find any Mexican food that even slightly compares in our area. We've been here over 30 times and have only been disappointed once because their usual pork supply was back ordered and the pork they substituted it for was not nearly as tender and juicy as the shredded kind. Their pork carnitas tacos are the best pork carnitas tacos we've ever had...when they have the good pork. We've had their fajitas, enchiladas, multiple pollo dishes (pollo a la crema, arroz con pollo etc), variations of tacos and more. All delicious. The service depends on the waiter but it's never been bad, sometimes just average and other times superb. It is not the cleanest place but I've never had dirty silverware or cups and have never found hair or anything that doesn't belong in my food which is more than I can say about other restaurants I've frequented, Mexican or not. Some of the other reviewers need to get over their first world problems (like the fact that the hole in the ground where they take a shit is not as clean as they'd like it be) and appreciate authentically delicious Mexican food served by genuine people! read more

This restaurant was horrible!! The food was very cold and it seems like they use really cheap ingredients. My Husband and I were very disappointed. It seemed like I payed 26.00 for 2 plates of cheese. The service was even worse then the food. It took them 10 min to seat us and there was no one else waiting for a table. We got chips and salsa right away But it took 20 min for her to even ask us what we wanted to drink. Then another 10min to order food. The food was so disgusting there aren't even words to describe. The waitress didn't even stop to ask us if we liked the food. Probably because she saw the looks on our face and the fact we didn't eat more than a few bites. Then it took another hour to get our check which I didn't want to pay for. The waitress said she would be right back to get it which she never did. So we proceeded to just walk to the front desk. The man who checked us out proceeded to ask if everything was good and I replied "no". He didn't say anything after that he just slid our card and gave us the slip to sign. He watched my Husband sign it, and when he saw that we left no tip he gave us a dirty look, and didn't even say bye, or have a good night. Do not eat here its nasty, and the service sucks!!!!! Someone needs to call restaurant impossible on them, don't know how they stay in business. read more

Horrible, horrible, horrible! As soon as we walked up I smelled something foul that should have tipped me off to what was to come- was it sewer? Dumpsters? Im not sure, all I could think of was my growling tummy so I braved on. The decor wasn't anything out of the norm for a "Mexican" restaurant in America. The chips that came out were a couple shades shy of burnt and came with a watered down version of salsa. As I walked in I saw a taco salad in one of those huge fried tortilla bowls that looked good. I couldn't shake the image so I ordered the taco salad. Apparently the taco salad is more of a tostada salad- served on a super soggy corn tortilla that is virtually invisible under all the grease from the ground beef and iceberg lettuce. The ground beef resembled the sloppy joe meat formerly served at elementary school cafeterias. I still don't know what the taco salad served in that delicious looking fried bowl was called. My boyfriend ordered a combo plate with a beef burrito, chicken enchilada and beef taco which all pretty much tasted the same- bland. Except for the taco- served in one of those old crunchy taco shells pulled from the grocery store shelf. The service was not bad but it wasn't anything to write home about either. Her politeness definitely felt strained- im sure our waitress is use to fielding complaints about the food on a very regular basis. I wouldn't be happy serving that slop either. read more

It is an OK Mexican food place. We stopped by after an epically long drive (due to accidents) over the pass. The bathrooms are OK clean, the food is average. Nothing to write home about. The cleanliness is typical of place Mexican. Chips crumbs on seats..etc slightly ripped seats in some, but nothing terrible. Table was not sticky or anything. Ads on table was tacky, but gave me something to read. All in all, if you are hungry, needs to use the bathroom after the pass. Sure swing by, but don't expect anything fancy. read more

The menu is extensive, and people were friendly, but the food (we got take-out) was pretty average. I had pork al pastor at a restaurant near Niagara Falls (!) last year, and it was one of the most delicious things I've ever tasted. I've tried to find another place that replicates its smoky, pineappley goodness. I ordered it at Los Cabos, and while it wasn't terrible, the pork was chewy and there was no hint of fruit that I could make out. read more

We had a great waiter. Except the woman who refilled our water. She wasn't really talkative and friendly. I speak the language and when I told her Gracias she didn't reply.
