I'm grateful this was one of the very few places that was open and dog friendly. We sat on the patio outside. They didn't offer my dog any water, but that was fine since I had my own bowl for him. You're looking to spend minimum $15 an entree. Pretty expensive for mediocre food. I ordered the prawns and steak, but the prawns were medium sized. The steak was overcooked but still edible. The tortillas taste like grocery store quality and not homemade. My boyfriend ordered the shrimp and crab chimichanga. They stuffed the chimichanga with mini baby shrimp and maybe a couple of shreds of crab meat. The server was nice, but he made several mistakes. While putting down our plates, he almost knocked over my cup of ice onto my dog, he spilled salsa onto my boyfriend's foot, and we found a strand of hair tangled in the food and he told us that the cook is bald. Best place if u love crema sauce. They have a choice of shrimp or chicken. I had the chicken last time and it was not tender. This simple sauce was the star of the dish. They also add carmelized onions and mushrooms which add depth to the richness of the sauce. My next visit I opted for only the onions & mushrooms, no protein. I added fried jalapenos and it was great. Rich in taste and heats up great the next day. Don't forget Sangria Saturday's! Ask for Izzy- he's the best! I'd pass on this place. Food was ok but customer service was the worst. We noticed everyone kept getting their food and they had come after us. Finally we asked our waitress and she said there was a computer issue and they are just now working on our order. (Been there for an hour already ) then when we get our food they forget our daughter meal. So I asked where her kids quesadilla is and she said oh you want to order one ? I said no we already ordered one. She said oh my gosh ! So then I said just forget it. I've been a waitress before and if it was me I would of still got one or not charged us for something but instead our bill came and we were charged for everything and the kids quesadilla we didn't get. As a local resident, first time customer, spouse to wife of Mexican heritage, native Texan, and recovering food snob, I must say I was pleasantly surprised. Portions were generous and food more or less authentic, as Americanized Mexican food goes. Will definitely be back, when we dont feel like making authentic versions at home. Prices were above average, service occasionally slow, decor is dated, clientele is colorful, and attached casino may be off putting for some...but those shortcomings are all standard for the Flathead Valley. What a pleasant surprise! Being from Mexico myself I was able to really enjoy an all home-made plate of sizzling fajitas that reminded me of those back home. This place has other really good dishes and prices are very reasonable! Our server was very polite and courteous without being overbearing, she even gave us advice to a local hike! The nachos were crunchy and warm, the salsa was fresh and the horchata was the perfect sweet tooth. We didn't try the desserts but the list was very decent. Just had a nice fajitas dinner here. Their board showed Special Fajitas chicken or beef 14.70. I told the waiter I'd have the Fajita special. He asked beef or chicken. I asked if I could get a combo and he said sure. After eating I laid my debit card on the table so he took it and rang me up. When he brought the receipt back I was charged $16.70 for the fajitas. I asked about the board showing them for 14.70. He asked in the back and told me that was yesterday's special, that they hadn't changed the sign. I pointed out that the sign did not indicate yesterday, it just said Special. The waiter just told me he was sorry. Now, I've been eating here for years but this is disappointing and I don't know if or when I'll be back. read more

Not impressed. The tacos had so much liquid in them that they were soggy. Waitress said it was the juice from chicken. Well no kidding, but at least drain a little before putting in the taco. Looking for good Mexican in the Flathead is a challenge. Tried this "mexican" restaurant hoping for the best. Ordered fahitas. To say the food was bad is an understatement. I mean, how do you blow fahitas that bad? Meat was tough and tasted like it had been boiled in water. It was so bad I could not eat it. On the plus side service was great, friendly waitresses. This is the single worst excuse for a Mexican restaurant I've ever been to in my entire life. If presented with a situation where I was forced to choose between eating there again or eating the wallpaper from a crappy fast food competitor, I'd choose the wallpaper without a second thought. The place is a dump and should be demolished, the service was barely adequate to be generous and the food was like someone had eaten it before we did and shit it out onto the plates. This dump should be permanently closed, so the surrounding community can stop suffering from exposure to it. Worst thing beyond all of the huge problems this place has: my son got violently ill 15 minutes after we left and spent the next two hours puking his guts out. We reported our issues to the health department, so hopefully they'll do a surprise indirection and shut it down at least temporarily. Do yourself a big favor and steer far and wide of it and never, ever set for in there no matter how much you're craving Mexican food. read more

I love the food at this restaurant. The customer service sucks in my opinion. None of the employees wore nametags so I don't know names. Our own waitress did not even waitress our table though. This other nice lady did and she was fantastic. Our waitress came over once and ask if everything was ok. Apparently this restaurant has had a change of ownership and is no longer run by Mexicans. I ordered a chicken Chimichanga and the chicken was not seasoned at all. Nothing. My brother ordered 2 burritos and they came as enchiladas. My husband ordered shrimp enchiladas and they arrived with salad shrimp inside. Tough and chewy. Very, very disappointing. They need to take some lessons on authentic Mexican cooking. At least season their food. We would definitely not return. read more
