I drive by or jog by this food truck almost every day, and every time there is always somebody ordering or waiting for food. Also, a Mexican colleague used to drive from Bellevue downtown to this truck often, he loved it. Finally had a chance to try it today and I will definitely be back. Food came out pretty fast and it was delicious. I got the quesadilla with carnitas, my wife got the street tacos with carnitas. Everything was very good. Chips were crunchy and fresh (ie not stale). Next time I'll remember to ask for some guacamole, I assumed the food would come with it, but it didn't. I don't particularly like the gasoline station location, but I understand this is a thing in the US. read more

Taqueria Los Chilangos is a cheerful food truck always parked at the Shell parking lot at the corner of NE 8th and 140 Ave NE in Bellevue. Parking is easy! I originally ordered three different taco fillings for my taco plate and got two out of three. (Not bad!) The beef tongue was cubed and very tender and was devoured before I was able to take a picture. The homemade horchata hits the spot and is good with some vodka or rum for your own personal Happy Hour at home. Tacos come on a paper plate and two sturdy corn tortillas. The fillings is where it's at - don't be picky about the tortilla if you're coming here. The Chupa Cabras are beef steak with chorizo on top and very salty and meaty (it is chorizo after all)! Overall pairs well with the sweetness of the horchata. One confusing thing is that my order was not called, and I waited in my car until the people who ordered after me got their order to pick up mine. Will be coming back to try their hot chocolate during wintertime. read more

I don't know how they have 4 stars. The only thing ok on the menu is probably the chicken quesadillas, the side of lettuce and tomato looked like it had been sitting out for a little bit though. The horchata is gross, might as well make a hole in a can of sweetened condensed milk and stick a straw in it, sad excuse for horchata. Al pastor is probably the worst thing you can buy. (There is probably something worse on the menu but don't plan to come back and find out) The used canned pineapple, the meat felt like it was already chewed and it just tasted like soggy pineapple meat Absolutely disgusting. Carne asada tacos were dryer than all get out no amount of hot sauce or lime can revive them. Spent $50 for the worst possible food ever. I thought with two taco trucks set up just minutes away from each other it would be good, but no not even going to consider this decent food. Honestly some of the creamiest and most delicious horchata I've had. A bit on the sweeter side with a perfect dash of cinnamon. My former coworker praised at this food truck so I went on a hunt to find it. Then they partnered with my former employer and created another location parked in front of my work so I didn't have to commute to find it anymore. My go to for any food truck are the carne asada tacos, it's ok here, but I have to say that this is hands down the best spot to get al pastor tacos(pork with pineapples). It's interesting how at most places, the green sauce is the mildier one and the red is hotter, here it's the opposite, but I don't care as long as I get the hot one. They also don't have refried beans, but black beans instead, which is healthier. They open really early as they do serve breakfast items. I don't know if it was from a bag of lettuce or cheese or what but very dirty and disgusting. Great food, strange service It's unusual to mention service for a food truck but I had a strange experience picking up food ordered through Yelp. I walked to the truck and asked to pick up my order that the guy seemed to act like he didn't get my order and seemed to re-take my order, at which point, I walked back to my car to get my phone to read him my order. Once I got back to the food truck, he somehow found my food and handed it over to me. Strange to say the least and he was not apologetic at all and seemed even a bit annoyed. I ordered the plate of three tacos, each with a different meat....chicken, carne asada and chorizo + carne asada (chupa cabras). The chupa cabras had the most flavor...a little smoky, and the perfect amount of heat. This was my favorite out of the three as it was the most savory. The chicken was good. It had a sweeter taste to it, which was pretty unique. I was a little disappointed with the carne asada, which didn't have the grilled flavor that I would expect. It could have used more seasoning and was on the drier side. The serving size was substantial and the pricing is reasonable ($6 / 3 tacos). If you're in a rush, the food here is prepared really quickly compared to other food trucks. My order was ready by the time I was done paying. read more

I ordered Los Chilangos for a company lunch and had 13 different orders for different people. Los Chilangos got everything right and had the order ready timely enough that I still made it back to the office just in time for everyone to eat. Placing the order was very easy, and the follow up confirmation and payment helped make sure the order was correct. The only people who didn't finish everything on their plates ordered Godfather burritos, otherwise the food was gone within 15 minutes. The food was fresh, not too greasy, and overall absolutely delicious. I am hopeful that Los Chilangos is requested by the team again soon, but I'll definitely be back on my own time. Love this place. Tacos. Burritos are way better than Rinconsito which is not too far away - they have a real flavor. And they're totally satsifying too. Although they're not quite as packed as Chipotle's burritos, the quality of the ingredients make up for it. And it's still unlikely that one will comfortably finish the whole burrito in one sitting. Tortas were OK. I'd rather chow down on a burrito. Or three tacos. For tacos, I like getting the Al Pastor (yay! Pineapple!) or flank steak. The horchata is a treat too. On the horchata spice to sweetness scale, it's definitely more sweet than spiced but still a solid horchata. (Though I haven't really had a horchata I didn't enjoy..) read more

The GF got three street tacos: al pastor, beef tongue, and chicken (best to worst in that order). Definitely skip the chicken, it's like at all other Mexican joints; a little bit dry and salty. Didn't try al pastor myself, but the beef tongue was really good. Reminded me of beef brisket or roast beef. The horchata was really good too. Staff really friendly. they make great street tacos! Carnitas are great, the carna asada and chorizo are yummy in their special chupacabra blend. They have an al pastor that hits just right with grilled pineapple. Their torta's are nice and messy and dripping with flavor, and their ultimate secret weapon is not their super flavorful Diablo sauce, but their horchata; it is quite possibly the best I've ever had. the only down-side is they aren't open later, but they are now the ones to beat up in the Redmond Ridge area. It was so damn good, I was so tempted to go order some more! 10/10 Pollo aka chicken tacos, they were a little salty in my opinion.
