Their salsas were decent but needed to add some extra hot sauce for some heat. I was satisfied with my birria tacos. Must eat them fresh or they'll get soggy. Could have used a little more crisp on the shell even when fresh. At $18 for 3 which is 6 bucks a taco, these are good, not great. I used to love this place. I stop in every month or two for a late lunch or dinner. This last time I was disappointed. The service was good, but they no longer have the Salsa bar and the steak in my meal was chewy. For the price I expect better. There is ample seating in the area. Meh. Volume of food was actually pretty large and so the higher prices were OK with me at first. Birria tacos packed solid, chicken quesadilla with lots of chicken and cheese and a big sack-o-chips. The problem is it just wasn't that flavorful. The cheese in the birria was just a basic white cheese inside (whatever they use for the quesadilla) and not a salty grilled exterior, so it didn't add much flavor and they remained big, but dry and weak. So you dip them in the consumme right? Flavorless. I've had a lot better in smaller cheaper bellevue shops. The chips was a big bag but they were mostly tiny and broken like the last bits at the bottom of store bought chips. Oh, and they tasted and looked exactly like Juanita's (store bought). The salsa with it was OK, but not enough for the chips. Quesadilla was OK, and almost worth the price but the salsas they have are light and small so be sure to pick up extra sauce at the counter. Normally I like to get pics but the fam was too hungry this time. I will say it all LOOKED delicious. read more

I ordered a cheese quesadilla, which came in 5-6 pieces I don't exactly remember. It was perfectly crispy and had the perfect amount of cheese. I ordered taco flight: 1 steak 2 chicken tacos. They were flavorful, soft, warm, and delicious. 10/10. There was a generous amount of meat, and veggies in the taco. It was so delicious. Stumbled upon this place after finishing shopping at Nordstrom rack. I remember this taco truck being open before the pandemic, but it has obviously been pre-branded and under new ownership. Happily surprised to see they offer Birria tacos. The tacos had a great balance of tender beef, and cheese inside the dipped tortillas and the consume had a great full bodied flavor. Not too salty like some places either. Tried the mangonada and it was legit! They don't have it on the menu but you can add a tamarind straw for $1.50 iirc. Definitely will stop in again when I'm in Bellevue and also interested to try out Seoul Bowl which is next door! Finally a legit food hall on the east side. read more

Didn't get a picture of his food...he started eating it before I could get a decent photo. I got the taco flight ($15). The tacos were all delicious but the star was the shrimp taco which was my favorite and the mango drink was the perfect drink to wash it all down. Service was great and we didn't have to wait long either (10-15 min between West Coast Tacos and Seoul Bowl). Will for sure be back to try the birria tacos! Very, very nice people who work here, but very subpar food. Probably one of the worst chicken quesadillas I've ever had - flat and lifeless, like my first girlfriend. It's weird. How can you make a horrible quesadilla? It didn't really taste cooked and the chicken was stringy and almost non-existent. Definitely a one star quesadilla at best. I did splurge on the birria three pack for $18 (with consommé). They were better than the quesadilla, but not by much. It just wasn't doing anything for me. I would have preferred three Barbacoa tacos from chipotle, and that's bad. Once again, I can't stress how nice the people are who who work there, but I can't imagine ever wanting to go back. We were in the mood for tacos last Sunday and this is where we ended up to try something new. We were happy with our choice. I had the birria and my husband had the taco flight, one each of steak, chicken, and shrimp. I wish they would allow you to order individually and that they include a few chips with your order, but as we were waiting for our order we noticed they were just filling a chip order with bagged chips from a grocery store. So maybe making their own chips would be feasible down the road. read more

Was surprised to find this corner of Lincoln Square with a very cool food hall when I was shopping at Nordstrom Rack. Apparently it has been here for quite some time, but reopened with new concepts recently after being shut down since the pandemic. The "taco truck" caught my eye instantly (hard to miss a blacked out trailer sitting in the middle of a food hall). They have a pretty limited menu and is more of a "street taco" concept (so no lettuce and cheese on your tacos). My wife ordered the taco flight which was awesome. She chose all of the proteins (1 chicken, 1 steak, 1 shrimp). The chicken and shrimp came with fresh onions, cabbage, cilantro and an excellent creamy, spicy chipotle sauce on top. The steak was grilled steak with fresh onions, cilantro and lime. We also really enjoyed the pickled onions they served on the side, along with both salsas they give you (red and verde). I ordered the birria tacos which was AMAZING. Not too greasy/oily and the consume was included (most places charge extra). You could really taste the peppers and spices in the slow cooked beef and consume. We also shared a ceviche which was light and refreshing (also included chips). The prices are not cheap, but fair considering they are in Bellevue and probably pay crazy rent. Looking forward to coming back and trying the Mangonada! read more
