My husband and I used them as our caterer for our wedding back in June. They were amazing. We received so many compliments on the food and everyone asked who they were. They were so easy to work with. They actually still catered for us even though they had I believe 4 other weddings that same day. The owner and manager were very sympathetic for my situation due to some planning issues. We super appreciated them for that. The staff was very friendly and clean. I ordered chilaquiles with eggs and asked the woman who took our order to not put any onions and she confirmed that they don't put any veggies on the chilaquiles plate, when I received my food it came with onions and I told them if they can make me another plate without onions the woman said "I didn't hear you I'll make you another one " as she walked away to the gas station across the tacos truck and had the other employee make my food he has just come back from smoking a cigarette and he didn't wash his hands when returning back to the truck. I received sloppy chilaquiles they were super watery and the description on the menu says they are made with fried tortillas but I received regular tortilla chips instead. Very dissatisfied with my order and the environment. Being a Hispanic myself I would not recommend going here they have poor service. read more

always see this place as I drive by. they always have a line and after a red eye from Hawaii last night my boyfriend and I did not want to cook anything so we decided to go get something quick and tasty for dinner. their menu has a lot to offer anyone looking for Mexican street food. the guy working the order system out front let us know the most popular tacos (pastor and asado) so we ordered 3 of each and a side of rice. got our plates and these were healthy sized street tacos and we could of definitely gotten away with just two tacos a piece and no rice. but they were such good tacos! we hadn't even realized they came with grilled veggies and potatoes either. everything was so good and reminds me of tacos I used to easily get in Chicago. their mild and hot sauces they serve are both worth trying too. their seating area outside was decorated so brightly and fun and they played some nice music. everyone working there was so friendly too! would definitely recommend! read more

I got E. coli 0157:H7 from Los Chilangos. Thanks Los Chilangos! In August 2015 I got E. coli 0157:H7 from eating at Los Chilangos. At least 8 other people were also sickened, 3 were hospitalized, and one poor girl even developed Hemolytic Uremic Syndrome (HUS, a.k.a. Kidney Failure). The King County Department of Heath shut down Los Chilangos on August 27 but they were allowed to reopen again in September. Holy Los Chilangos! Now that's good tacos. Of course, I can only speak to their carnitas but we ordered 6 of them and they were all consistently tasty. The pork was juicy and tender. The one interesting thing I noticed is that this place doesn't give you their carnitas dripping in oil. Some places serve them so greasy that it literally comes out of a deep fryer. No bueno! Okay, bueno sometimes. For today, I preferred mine non-deep fried. They're topped with the usual cilantro, fresh onions and a couple of slices of radish. As for their portions, they are quite generous with the meat. But then, they do charge a little more than some taco trucks at $1.75 per taco. Well worth it though. For the sauce, you get a choice of either spicy green or red mild. Both were delish. Oh, the best part, when you check in, you get 2 free tacos! Awesomeness on wheels! read more

LOVE LOVE LOVE this hidden gem in the suburbs of Bellevue/Redmond. Located at the Shell gas station, this place offers the best street tacos I've found in the Seattle area. I've come here multiple times and have had various street tacos and tacos gringos topped with chicken, carne asade, al pastor, and carnitas. They fill up the tacos heavily - you can't even close the tacos all the way. Prices are extremely affordable - for $12, I can stuff myself to the point of never wanting to eat ever again haha. I've gone during off hours, but I can imagine the line can get pretty long during normal lunch/dinner hours. From my own experience, the food takes 5-10 minutes for them to prepare. The staff are super nice each time, and I love that they have their own rewards program (punch card, get something free after 10 purchases). I go out of my way to go here whenever I'm looking for street tacos. Highly recommend. read more

I just got my Horchata and burrito fix this morning from Los Chilangos at the Ballard Farmer's Market, where they sell each weekend. Hands down, this place sells the BEST Horchata (rice, cinnamon, vanilla, milk) drink I've ever tasted. My husband who doesn't like Horchata drank some of mine and then bought his own. It was so rich, smooth, and the perfect balance of sweet and creamy. They price it just right, $2.50. The vendor made a joke, "We should bottle this stuff, eh?" (most definitely, hombre). I also had their steak and egg burrito, which has some refried beans, potato, and eggs thrown in there for a hearty breakfast kick (have to get in those veggies somewhere!). So I blindly came here, thinking it was going to be pretty amazing... I'm not sure I would say it was, probably something right in the middle. I came here for a torta. a simple sandwich, with good meaty filling... yeah, it was just okay. I have been to Mexico, I have been to LA, San Diego, Texas, Arizona, new Mexico, Utah.. Yes Utah (I'm talking about Red or Blue iguana)... had feel I have a grasp on good Mexican, either from a sit down or food stand.. and this place ranks okay. The bread needs a little more to it, and the meat, was not as seasoned as I felt it should have been. Granted, I order Tortas from most food stands, I am a bit of a snob when it comes to it. I ate at Los Chilangos at the Edmonds Farmer's Market on Saturday. YUM! I had 3 soft tacos (one each of beef, pork and chicken) and it was a generous amount of food for $6, and incredibly delicious! It's hard to pick a favorite between the three meats because they were all tender, juicy, and flavorful. The pork taco had pineapple on it which was a nice touch. I usually get the Al Pastor tacos at either the Issaquah or Sammamish Farmers Market. I like how the marinated pork is cooked on a vertical rotisserie and the tacos are served with fresh pineapple. Pineapple and pork is a great pairing and they can make it spicy with their salsa. When I am really hungry I get the Tortas as the sourdough bread, black beans, and my meat choice again, al pastor-brightened up with cilantro and onions is really filling. This Wednesday at the Sammamish Farmers Market I ordered the fish tacos and agua de horchata. The fish was grilled to order and was two generous sized filets when assembled onto the flour tortilla filled the paper plate end to end becoming my new favorite dish at the Farmers Market. read more
