    Chips and queso

This place is in a plaza off the beach area. Service is nice. Restaurant has a few indoor tables and more outdoors. You order at the counter and it comes out soon. We started with queso and chips. The $3 bag of homemade chips is huge. Had to take it home. My wife got the Mexican egg rolls. They were ok. I got the birria tacos. They were delicious with dipping sauce. I added a fish taco that was delicious also.very authentic food. Wish the chip came smaller.

    Wonderful surpise @4.50!?

Yeah this place is legit, get all the tacos, they are HEAVY!.even the veggies!...plenty of sturdy seating outside, and they bring food to you. Definitely gone get the salad taco next time. Drunkin Noodle: margaritas machine suspect, ut he said $4.50!?...run me two of them, and yes these hit! Well done amingo

Amazing Mexican food! This is a small shop in a strip mall with plenty of outdoor seating. The burritos are HUGE and enough for two meals. The shrimp taco was delicious and just the right amount for a small appetite. The staff were very friendly and quick to bring the food despite how busy they were.

Fresh, fresh, fresh. Chips and salsa with the Mango Salsa. A ridiculous, gigantic bag of freshly made chips. Salsa was chunky, sweet, salty, good mango flavor. The Carnitas Platter was some of the best, moist and tasty pork that I've come across at a Mexican restaurant in the Pinellas County area. The pinto beans were great on this platter. Not over sauced at all, but had that great bean taste. The Chilango Burrito was huge, juicy and amazing. Good quantity of moist and tender steak. Excellent! Washed down with a couple of Modelo Especials and life was good on Anna Maria Island. Good "value for dollar spent" in this unexpected strip mall Mexican restaurant. It must be consistently good because the place was very busy on this Saturday afternoon. The ambience was very good with a nice mix of Mexican music playing overhead. A beautiful large mural added incredible character to the place. The server and cook were very attentive and made a couple of appearances at our table to see how things were going.

Food: Surf and Turf Burrito, In-house made chips, both delicious. Service: Given menus, drinks, and chips within minutes. Served food in less than 5 more minutes. Cordially checked on after food arrived; friendly. Ambiance: Quiet, low meringue playing in background-perfect for a convo. Open door/comfortable breeze. Craving casual Mexican? This is the place. Cheers

We sat inside and got the taquitos, birria tacos, el pastor quesadillas, side rice, and frozen mango margaritas. Everything tasted amazing. Definitely a great authentic Mexican place to come to. Staff were also very friendly - Would definitely come again!

Los Chiludos Mexican restaurant is within walking distance from our beach rental here on Anna Maria Island. Being adventurous we tried each or their specialty burritos. I think we were all genuinely impressed with how well each one was prepared! Each one was crafted with a unique flavor profile that just worked. I highly recommend this place and we have already been back to pick up their $3 bag of chips to go! Soo good!

We had lunch here this afternoon. My husband rated it a 3 and I'm closer to a 3.5. Since it's the best Mexican we've eaten in the area, I bumped it up. It's an upper-scale order at the counter type of place and everyone was really friendly. We started with frozen lime margaritas and they were good. Our favorite thing by far was the cheese dip. It was delicious! My husband and I shared one of the specials, which was a birria chimichanga. It was good, especially with a little cheese dip on top. We also had steak tacos. We enjoyed them and thought the steak was seasoned well and enjoyed the salsa verde.

Carnitas platter. Also came with corn tortillas.

Found this little jewel by way of Google reviews and it didn't disappoint. The food was amazing! I had the carnitas platter and the plate is very deceiving. There is a ton of food on the plate and I wound up taking a doggy bag home, I never do that. Service was spot on. The server and manager checked on us periodically and were very engaging. The interior is small but they make up for it in service. Definitely going back on our next road trip.

The only burrito that compares to this one was at Revolution in Sayulita. Absolutely world class stuff.

This place is booked and busy but they turn over tables pretty quickly. We killed the 30minute wait time by hanging out on the swinging bench on the pier and taking photos of all the birds. The fans outside were amazing, didn't feel like it was 95 outside at all. Flies here and there but that's florida. Father's Day special was bogo drinks, we ordered two mocktails that were fantastic. Definitely on the sweet side, almost like sipping dessert. Tropical, icey, bubbly dessert. Calamari was DELICIOUS. My parents never really order calamari but they loved how crunchy the breading was while the meat still being tender. Some food items were very salty: lobster bisque and scallops with the captain's combo. Scallops were cooked very well, just salty. Gulf Grouper was a small amount of fish on a very large plate, it was so delicious though. Fish and chips was good but I have had better, the fish was on the thinner side and wasn't thick enough to flake apart. Loved the Anna Maria Oyster bar hot sauces. Dad's favorite was the habanero and mine was the serrano. They sell individual bottles of these as well. For a party of 3 with 1 app, 3 entrees (some up charges for sides), bogo mocktails, and 20% tip...we spent around $160 for the meal. We concluded it was worth it for the fresh seafood, view, and vibes. Especially if it's for an occasion. Good for dates, families, friends. Amazing service.

We came back 10 minutes later and she locked the doors and switched the "open" sign to "close" closing 40 minutes early! It gave us a bad vibe and felt extremely rude especially because it was one of spots we wanted to try in the area. I believe this spot is also fairly new in my opinion this is not a good reflection or representation of new business! Terrible (see pictures of hours of operation on door, along with advertising sandwiches and pastries on menu which they didn't have). Also please see owners response below. Going back and forth on yelp proves true unprofessionalism and the apology was not sincere at all, before stepping out to use the restroom that could of been stated that the establishment was about to close local or not TERRIBLE!
