    Chile rellano burrito
    Deangela S.

I just got this Chile rellano burrito less than an hour ago and have been enjoying it during my break. It is probably one of the best burritos I've had in the area and the ladies who made it had great customer service. They were so nice and accommodating. They made it fresh and right in front of me. Decent price as well and the portions are generous.

They make the corn tortillas fresh throughout the day. Lots of construction workers come here constantly. I have only gotten the regular soft taco, AL pastor. It's delicious and they load it up with a great portion. 2 of them with some chips and I'm full, 3 of them I'll have a leftover taco. 3.75 each taco but we'll worth it. The regular soft Tacos come with rice, your choice of beans, meat, Pico DE Gallo, your choice of salsa, cilantro and onion (if you want it) Get the Al pastor, you won't regret it!!

Stumbled upon this place with my friends, and snaaaaaaaap. You always gotta go where all the construction workers are lined up at. What a find! Come through and get the super burrito.

The food didn't taste fresh. The chips were stale and the Salsa was fermenting literally tasting fizzy when I tasted it.

"Great hole-in-the-wall Mexican near SFO airport"…read more Came here for dinner at 6pm on a Monday night, based on good Yelp reviews. The place is unassuming-- has a thin stretch of outdoor seating and a handful of tables inside. Not super bright in lighting, and a TV inside was showing a baseball game. Seemed like a lot of the business was takeout, as people would come, hover, get food, and leave. I was GOING to order the fish tacos or a fish quesadilla, but I was swayed by the picture of a breaded fish plate special. My son got the carne asada quesadilla, and others at the table got a veggie burrito and a chicken bowl. Food came out pretty quick-- maybe around or just over 10 minutes (the fish plate and veggie burrito came out slightly after the other two). I was very impressed that the fish plate looked even BETTER than the photo (see photos of both). The fish was HUGE. There was a generous helping of guacamole, lots of fresh avocado slides, some onion and cabbage, etc. There was a nice bed of lettuce on the side with sour cream over it, and the rice & beans (covered with a thin layer of cheese) on another side. The fish plate was just delicious. The batter wasn't overpowering or too heavy, and the fish was excellent inside (and very flat). I really liked the sauce in a little cup on the fish, or having it with avocado or guacamole, or even straight. The rice and beans were yummy too. Such a great dish, and it was under $20 before tax and tip. My dining companions all liked their food, though my son said the carne asada meat was "just good" (he had a bite of the chicken and said that was better). The person at the register was friendly. And as mentioned, the prices were very reasonable. I'd happily eat here again if in the area. Great portion size, great quality, good value, etc. Enjoy!

The burrito had potatoes, but they weren't french fries. They were boiled potato strips. Kind of somewhat annoying when that's what I was looking forward to. Also, I ordered a super burrito, but it was more like a taco. Burritos here are really small so if you're hungry, forget about it.

We came just before 7pm on a weekday and ordered Margaritas, guacamole and an elote en vaso/Mexican corn from the Happy Hour menu. Everything was delicious and the chips were hot and fresh too! The cups were filled only halfway. The woman (Imelda was the name on the receipt) told Z that they didn't fill the cups up to the brim because of the no ice request. So....does that mean that they fill up cups with 50% ice?? Any way that you look at it, it's CHEAP and a major turn off. For my dish, I ordered the Tijuana Taco Salad ($16.75), requesting to separate ONLY the bowl-shaped flour tortilla shell from the contents (with no cheese). To ensure that they understood my simple request, I repeated to keep the salad contents in one container and the flour tortilla shell separate from everything. What I received was a fully deconstructed taco salad - every salad ingredient was packed separately. Pretty frustrating that they didn't follow the easy and straightforward instructions. DJ ordered the A-1 GRANDE COMBINACION of Enchilada, Chile Relleno and Taco, replacing the taco with another chile relleno and specifying his enchilada as cheese with Mole sauce. Another fail - the enchilada was filled with chicken AND topped with red sauce. DJ is a vegetarian, so what he received was not something that he could eat. Extremely upsetting, Z tried to call them and knock on their door to discuss the issues with our order. No one bothered to pick up the phone nor answer the locked door. Very disappointing. Like I said in my original review, service, even for take-out, is under par at Celia's San Bruno. We haven't experienced such majorly low quality of service at locations #1 through #5 above. Severely unsatisfactory.

The shrimp was a bit on the chewy side, and while everything tasted fine, it didn't totally wow me. The octopus tostada had good flavor, though. The ambiance is lively and energetic, especially with the singers, but it does get pretty loud. It's open seating, so you walk in and find your own table until someone comes by with menus. Service was okay -- not super attentive, but friendly enough. On the plus side, the food came out quickly, which is always appreciated. Overall, I'd give it 4 stars. If it were a little less loud and the service a bit more attentive, it would easily be a stronger rating. Still a solid spot for a casual meal!

The menu offers a variety of items, and we decided on the elote tots (tater tots and elote street-style corn), an appetizer that sounded different, and for the main dishes, the nachos with added soy chorizo and the spaghetti with Poblano chili sauce, plus a side of soy chorizo. The food came quickly, and the elote tots were amazingly good! The combination of tater tots, the corn, and the cheeses (sauce and crumbled) was amazing mix of textures and flavors. The nachos were good, and the pasta with poblano sauce was also very good. The sauce was creamy, with a slight heat, and very different. The soy chorizo was not my favorite, and in the nachos, the crumbled form of the soy chorizo was better suited as an add than as a side to the pasta (maybe it was intended to be mixed in, but I wanted to eat it separately).
