A great restaurant in both food and service. The waitress was extremely kind and gave us chips and salsa as well as hot bean dip. The chips were fresh and really good. Their mole sauce tasted both sweet and dark and was an incredible addition to my chicken enchilada. Food is bomb! It's amazing honestly hated most other places in the area.. We get orders to go and they have got them really wrong several times but we keep going back in hopes that our order is right. They have fixed a few times but when your a busy family sometimes you can't wait while they fix the food..or forget to look etc.. Food came at different times and different temperatures. Cold enchiladas with canned mushrooms. Asked for red sauce, instead of green. But I got extra red sauce to cover the green. Rice was hot, but with everything else cold, it was weird. My husband was served after me, and got his fajita toppings several minutes before his fajitas. Fijitas lacked flavor and seasoning. Orders fries without meat, but was served fries with meat hidden inside. I already feel my tummy rumbling. Eat here and you will leave full of regret. read more

DON'T GO!! Our experience started with our waitress wiping a dead fly off our table as she seated us. Our waitress was not very talkative, and we had to flag her down and ask for everything we needed (more drink, more salsa). Carne asada was fair and some was burnt. My wife did say her chicken was good. Bathroom needed cleaning and apparently their storage area is the floor in the dining room. We paid by credit card, and left only about a 10% tip due to everything. I always double check the amount I tip and keep my receipts. We have stayed at Rolling Hills Casino RV park several times in our summer travels, and have grown tired of casino buffets, especially RHC's overpriced one. So we unhooked the toad and drove 5 miles to downtown Corning based on Yelp reviews to try some authentic Mexican food. So glad we did. Very good and pleasant service. Food was excellent, especially the chili relleno. Wine margaritas were perfect. Huge portions assured leftovers for lunch as we head South tomorrow. Give this place a try. Jeni...you are So RUDE...the reason you have a job is the customer. We came and you had no open tables which is fine. However when we say we will wait you tell us no reservation. We were not making a reservation we simply were going to wait until a table opened. That's the procedure at most restaurants. Road trip find: my partner ordered the shrimp dish recommended by the waitress, which came with fresh corn tortillas. We loved it! The corn tortillas are thick, but can be opened like a pita pocket. I also showed a picture of the multilayered ceviche tostada, which I was told is off the menu. Glad I asked bc it was beautiful and delicious. The order took a little longer than the shrimp dish, but it made complete sense bc everything is carefully layered. I highly recommend this place! read more

Three of us came in for brunch this morning. Friendly waitress greeted us and promptly set Down chips, salsa, and a little plate of beans. Appetizers were delicious! First it's set back from the street if your coming from I5 if you get to Les Schwab you passed it. Second if your 50 or over and tempted to go to the half off casino buffet DON'T. There will be a line and the place is super smoky. Make the drive to town it's not far and the food is very good and the people are super friendly and appreciate your business. Hubby had the steak ranchero it was not as much of usual tomato based sauce but he really liked it and the plate was quickly clean. As other reviews have said the rice and beans have a great flavor, I don't usually bother with the beans but I have to admit I wanted to use a tortilla so as not to leave any. The waitress suggested a special shrimp dish that is not on the menu can't remember what it was called but there are several pictures of the dish posted. If your not into really spicy Mexican food this is good flavorful choice. read more
