Place is very small and the table we sat at wobbled really bad. Couldn't fix the wobble because the bolts under the table were loose. Usually a napkin under one of the legs would help, but it didn't. Service was really slow but to their credit they were really busy. The waitresses were very nice. Because they were busy we thought that had to be a good thing, however, we were wrong. My wife ordered nachos and they came out cold. Cheese was out of a can and had zero flavor. How can you screw up nachos? I ordered the chicken taco special. As I took a bite, grease dripped out of the taco onto the plate. It was disgusting and has no flavor whatsoever. The rice was cooked well but it was also bland. The refried beans were dry and so overcooked they stuck to the plate. I didn't eat them. My mother in law ordered a fajita quesadilla that in her words was "just ok". I had high hopes given the good reviews, but with so many other options in town we won't be going back. I wish them luck! read more

Was a long day of driving and checked into the hotel off the freeway. Hotel Front desk recommended the restaurant, it was just under a mile. Only one other table in restaurant so we knew it wouldn't take long to get dinner. The poor server was visually sweating. This 1 star is not about the food because I have been sitting here for over an hour for 5 tacos and one order of rice and beans. The two servers continued to tell me every 15 minutes the are food is coming in just a minute. 60 minutes later I checked in with her and asked what is going on. Server stated that had a large party order before us that needed to be prepared. WTF!!! Never once before, during, or after ordering give us this information. I was deeply disturbed by the lack of professionalism or ones inability to acknowledge the disregard for a customers time. The two young servers displayed an attitude but it was their lucky day because I was way to tired to let them have it! My new favorite! I think that was the best chile relleno I've ever had. The beans are so flavorful, too. They bring a small plate of beans with pico de gallo and cotija with your chips and salsa while you wait. The music is upbeat and fun, too! Servings are giant! What a pleasant surprise on the way back from Mt. Shasta! I ordered a carnitas taco and a chile relleno burrito. The taco was delightfully delicious, not greasy, and it was really fresh. The burrito was incredibly generous, smothered in sauce, and it was really tasty. It was packed with several chiles and it was stuff with a healthy portion of beans, rice, lettuce, and wonderful guacamole. They packaged everything and put in a bag of fresh tortilla chips with pick de gallo. I had everything to go, but the restaurant was clean and the staff was all wearing masks. I wasn't too hungry, so I ordered two grilled shrimp tacos. Thick corn tortillas were topped with the shrimp, cabbage, onions, and some just-spicy-enough sauce. They have no compassion for human life as they interfere with sleep and mental health. They violate noise pollution.
