We've been here before but they were super busy and still sat us..our waitress was wonderful always checking to make sure we were good...I got the Abondigas and it was delicious....cooked to perfection...my husbands salad was crispy and delicious as well...we ordered enchiladas and a chili rellano and were totally satisfied...my son tried the mole' burrito and said it was a little overpowering and all he could taste was the mole' but it was good nonetheless...this place is a good place for families to get together as well...enjoy read more

We always stay and stop here on our trips through Barstow. The food is varied and delicious. I always wish I could take my leftovers for the large plates of food. Our last visit was especially memorable because of our delight server, Yesenia. She was so pleasant and helpful with choice questions. She stopped by our table several times to see if we needed anything. She was a refreshing addition to our dining experience. read more

Stayed at the hotel and ordered take out. We ordered the veggie enchiladas and sopapillas. All fairly good. Enchiladas packed full of veggies - they did forget to put avocado slices on top :( but the chips and salsa were delicious. I would give them 3.5 stars for food. The reason I gave 2 is because the interior of this place was a raging party. Social distancing not enforced. I don't believe they have outdoor seating at this time. So your only option is to eat inside with everyone gather in close proximity or take away. They seem to be open at full capacity too. Los Domingos Mexican Restaurant is located inside the Quality Inn, at the east end of town. My visit actually happened in December of last year, and I'm only getting around to posting it here on Yelp. You walk through a hallway, turn to your right, and you come to the counter of the restaurant, where I was greeted by friendly Laner, who was the only server working in the restaurant on this Wednesday morning. I got to chatting with her, and she told me that the restaurant is owned by three chefs, who are all dedicated "foodies." Now that's a great way to begin a visit! After I picked out a table, my friendly server, Laner brought the menu, and a bowl of fresh, warm tortilla chips, and a bowl of delicious salsa. Wow! I love chips and salsa for breakfast! I decided to go with a Tamale and Eggs for breakfast, as that sounded like just the "thing" for this chilly December morning. I was already enjoying chips and red salsa arrived, when Laner brought my breakfast to the table, and I was surprised to see that it included a bowl of green salsa. Check it out: Refried beans, a beef tamale with two fried eggs placed on top, hashbrowns and coffee. Ultimately, I poured all of the salsa verde on my hashbrowns... this is one of the best breakfasts that I've ever had the pleasure to enjoy. Do yourself a favor when you're in Barstow and pay a visit to Los Domingo's Mexican Restaurant. Such a wonderful breakfast! Sonny, who is a regular customer, sat in the booth next to me, and he and Laner know each other quite well, so I joined in the conversation. Really good Mexican Cuisine off the 15 freeway in Barstow. A locals place where everyone is welcome. Maybe a restaurant attached to a hotel that has perhaps been expanded over the years. I would definitely be back more often but because of the distance from my home it will be limited. Great place for a family lunch or dinner. This is a gem! Delicious and authentic Mexican food. Feels like I'm visiting an abuela's house. The staff are super sweet, especially Dalia. She's awesome! Now to the food. The fajita chicken quesadilla is exactly that but you don't have to put it together and it's the best quesadilla I've had, tender marinated chicken with cheese and sautéed onions and green peppers all perfectly blended. The food was delicious. The service was exceptional. We had a main server but everyone who worked there helped out. It was like ever employe took personal responsibility for every patron. I could ask any employee walking by the table for what I needed and it was always taken care of. I loved the team work and the willingness of all to get the job done. We had two dinners one pork carnitas and one grilled beef both flavorful and well prepared. Both dinners came with soup or salad. Not COVID compliant, we did not feel safe to stay and eat here. Employees were wearing masks, but most of them were not wearing them over their nose and mouths including the young lady wrapping silverware (hers was hanging kinda over her mouth, servers were wearing them around their necks). I think this county is in tier 1 and does not allow for indoor dining currently, but the restaurant and bar were completely full of people not wearing masks. People were not being seated apart (there is some short plexiglass between booths). Air circulation is poor. We did not feel safe eating here knowing this county has a high prevalence of disease. We asked the hostess whether they were allowing indoor dining and she said the owner was letting people eat inside. Re Maxim: Good luck to you and your family during this hard time. My boyfriend and I stopped by here on our way home from Las Vegas to San Diego. We dined in the evening outside per the COVID-19 regulations( with an appropriate distance) and got to enjoy a nice breeze and the patio lights. The staff were very accommodating, personable, and the service was timely! The food was delicious and flavorful. Our waitress Dalia ensured that we had lovely dinner and was incredibly polite. Found this little gem right here on Yelp. Not too far off the freeway exit. Located inside a Quality Inn Hotel just past hotel the check in desk. Small older looking restaurant. They start you off with the usual chips and salsa however, the chips have a nice corn flavor and tasted homemade. The carne asada taco was tender and flavorful, stuffed full of asada. As a matter of fact it was stuffed so full I only had a taste of the chicken burrito that came with it (saving the rest for lunch LOL). Hubby had the ground beef taco which he said was very good and the beef tamale, which he brought home. Both dishes came with rice and beans. The beans were covered in melted cheese and were also good. Our server, Danny was great and made wonderful menu recommendations. He checked on us frequently and was very friendly. We thought we had arrived early in the town and found many restaurants closed or about to close at 8:00 PM. This place was very much awake and lively. Our server/waitress, Karissa, she was interested in us and took our order correctly. She is very charismatic. She was knowledgeable and helpful when we had questions about the menu. The place had great Mexican food and we are from East Los Angeles (where there is yummy Mexican food). We plan on returning for brunch before we head out to our destination. read more

This place is such a hidden gem. If it wasn't for yelp I would pass this place 100 times over, especially a restaurant located inside a motel! Don't let the exterior fool you this place is so charming but most importantly tasty. Really the reason for the 5 stars was my shrimp enchiladas, literally the best I've ever had. The menu takes at least 10 minutes to look over everything looks so good it's hard to pick. Everyone in my party loved their meal and again we didn't have high expectations to say the least. Simplicity at it's best. Chips and salsa to start were super good and fresh. Service: having to pay at the counter & to get seated was a little slow but once we sat we had a lovely waitress who was super attentive. Also pricing is decent, probably $10-15 a person for a really good filling meal. If you love a divey hole in the wall this place is for you, again shrimp enchiladas were the bomb, I would pass on the albondigas soup though.
