Visited this great restaurant again! Had the shrimp cocktail (mexican style). It was so delicious as the sauce was a perfect blend of tomato juice and spices (not hot). You can squeeze lemon or lime in the cocktail or add hot sauce. Three fresh oysters were included. I love those but they could have been colder. Served with a beautifully ripe avocado on top and professionally cut cucumber, onion and cilantro, Yum!! The shrimp were good size and good texture (not mushy). My friend ordered cheese enchiladas. She orders them without sauce but the cook did a great job preparing them and she said they were perfect. The enchiladas came with beans and rice and we ordered salads that were extra. It was all tasty with fresh lettuce and good salad dressing (we had italian and ranch). Service was so so. We were there midday and it seems many restaurants are this way at this time of day. Not sure if it's because they send servers home and there are not as many to wait on customers or they have side duties that take them away from serving, but it's typical and frustrating. I will say the first bus boy was not good seemed very unhappy and never smiled but then a second bus boy showed up and he was smiling, helpful, friendly and saved the day!! read more

No one greets you when you walk in, and we wanted to dine in. Everyone just stares at you like you should figure it out. Waited about 30 minutes in, just to place an order. Decided to just take it to go because we were tired of waiting. Sat there for about 40 minutes just to have a water and chips/salsa. When we left no one even said have a nice day or anything. Absolutely terrible service. Brought my dad in for father's day and the service was horrible. We were never attended by a server had to keep asking the hostess for help. Food was good but took forever to come plus we never received the tortillas for our meal even after waiting an ample amount of time. Definitely will never come back nor recommend to anyone what so ever. Seems like no one cares to ask you how your doing how your food is nothing. First visit to this establishment. Went for Menudo for breakfast but left with disappointment. Menudo was extra greasy and it came with pata which we were not asked if we wanted it or not. Ended up ordering the Chilaquiles which were mediocre at best. My wife ended up ordering the appetizer taquitos which were overcooked and without flavor. We did enjoy the vibe. The football games were on Sunday afternoon and if we were to return, it would be to watch the sports games. I love this place for few reasons (thus a short review :) - Fiesta Guacamole: prepared by the bar tender in front of you behind the bar. The best, most fresh, most tasty guacamole I had. You can "customize" it as well (more or less jalapeno...etc). Just let the bartender know. - Ramen: I personally love them. Fusion-ish Mexican/American/Asian (instant ramen obviously), super spicy (I also add serano in there), delicious and tasty seafood broth with fresh octopus in there. That's from far my favorite dish. - Staff: friendly, efficient, nice, and fun! I love their red spicy salsa. Make sure you try it! Margaritas are solid and generally prices are very decent. We searched Yelp to find a good spot for Mexican food for our anniversary date night. We settled on Los Domingos, and I'm very glad we did! The service was amazing, I think I servers name was Angie, she was very attentive and helped suggest the perfect meal! My fiancé got the carne asada burrito which was only $12.95, and was well worth it (guac is included), which was the size of a small baby lol. He had left overs for the next day for lunch haha. I had the Chicken and Shrimp Mexicana, which was $21.95, and could have easily been shared between two people, I also had lunch for the next day! The bean and rice were perfectly cooked and seasoned, the portions were hefty, and the Cadillac Margaritas are really good as well! Thanks again Los Domingos! Food... exceptional!! Hot!!! good!! Service..as a result of only 3 people on staff.. absolutely poor. Super friendly... however, they make no apologies for dropping the ball. Bartender, Destiny, super cute, ..plugs along and seems to take it all in stride, all the while discussing her vacation plans in July with a friend at the bar.. talking with her potty mouth, dropping F-bomb across the bar. No less than 3 people at 3 different tables in the sports lounge had to get up and help themselves to silverware at the bus station because none was provided. Destiny makes a great drink!!! Nostalgia post!! I'm not actually at Los Domingos right now, but I've been so many times in my life from 2008 til present O.O... That I've seen it grow and evolve in many ways over time. Los Domingos was one of my comforts and frequent go to spots with my old squad and even family growing up in the High Desert. The food which now has some extensive great veggie options including VEGAN ENCHILADAS that will knock your zapatos off!! The parking is easy in a spacious shared lot off Wika Rd which is the outer street when you first come over the hill for Highway 18 from downtown Victorville into the city of Apple Valley. The service is still top of the line amazing and no matter how small or big your party they treat everyone with kindness and care. Those margaritas are must, but you can enjoy all the essential from combination plates (tacos, burritos, tamales, taquitos, you name it) to ensaladas/salads to burgers/wraps, desserts and and endless variety you'll only find at this HD gem. Come for the guac, cocktails and good vibes, but stay for the good deals, good food and welcoming atmosphere. read more
