I walked over to this restaurant while waiting for my vehicle. It's Monday at 9:30am and I'm here about 40% m- 50% of the restaurant full which I feel is good for this time of day. I am simple, I just ordered two bean and cheese tacos with bacon and my first bite I knew it was the best taco I had and I order this same thing everywhere. Food came out within 5mins. Very impressed and I think the eating is low due to lack of reviewed by people who enjoy eating here. Glad I came to try it regardless and recommend that you do the same! read more

Stopped in to eat while waiting to get my hair cut. I've seen this spot many times but never took time to go in. I sat down promptly and was waited on with coffee and water. They have a great selection of breakfast and dinner options. All meals are very inexpensive and good portions. I ordered the French toast plate. Two eggs (over medium for me), two slices of bacon, and two full slices of thick French toast sliced. I have to say I was pleasantly suprised by the size of the eggs as I have had very small portions at other (more expensive places). The bacon was not applewood or anything but was very tasty and a good portion size. Now the French Toast made me think I was at home. My wife is the only cook I knew that could get vanilla flavor in French Toast. Needless to say o enjoyed my breakfast. Not to heavy and not to light. The coffee is nice a bold as well. For this whole meal I paid $8.39. I will definitely try them again. read more

Chips & taco shells stale either from improper storage or cooking time: cook & tortilla maker must be new because tortillas are thin, taste like paper and not fluffy soft as before. Rice looks pink, tasteless and not even close to Mexican rice as before. Refried beans are salty, have awful spices and orange tint unlike before. These food items were inedible. Dos Hermanos is your typical San Antonio taqueria--nothing special. I think their food is just ok; however, I absolutely love their huevos rancheros. By far the best I've had in a restaurant. Okay, I don't know how to say this without sounding gross but THERE WAS A DEAD FLY IN MY HUEVO RANCHERO PLATE!!! I am not even joking. And to make matters worse, I had already eaten half of my plate and did not notice the fly because it was under one of the eggs and was covered in the red ranchero sauce. Like, how do they not even notice the fly when they were cooking my eggs over easy? I've noticed that they always leave the back door open but never thought I would find a fly in my food. I was in shock when I saw the dead fly so I motioned to my husband and he immediately called the manager. I got up and went outside because I could feel the food I had just ingested making its way up out of my mouth. I began to feel dizzy, disgusted, embarrassed, and let down by this restaurant. All I wanted to do was get out of this dirty, disgusting place and never return. They told my husband he would not have to pay for the plate but they still charged him $30 and only refunded the plate with the fly. How insulting is that? To think the rest of our food was cooked in that same dirty kitchen is horrific. read more

Unfortunately, at Los Dos Hermanos, the overall experience was disappointing. I went with coworkers for lunch. It was not busy: only about half the tables were full. Despite this, service was glacially slow. One measure of the authenticity and quality of a Mexican eatery (for esposa and me) is the carne al pastor. At Los Dos Hermanos, the al pastor was just okay, nothing great. The rice and beans were on par with other eateries in town. The homemade corn and flour tortillas were very good. Overall: AVERAGE. With better offerings on Military Drive, I'll not be going back. read more

Love this place get breakfast tacos 5 days a week. Always thru the Drive-Thru so not sure about the service inside. The lady at the drive thru already knows my order and knows when they get it wrong. This place has awesome tacos at an unbeatable price! We randomly stopped to try it one day about 2 months ago and have gone to get tacos atleast once a week since then. The place is clean, and walking a fine line of being a tad cramped and just right space wise. The waitresses are really nice even though sometimes it seems they are a little overworked (particularly on the night shift). I've tried their puffy tacos twice and although I have no basis for comparison, I was impressed. They were pretty greasy but I suppose that's to be expected when you deep fry a corn tortilla. The portions are great and so is the price, so no complaint there. My very favorite thing to get from there is the bean, cheese, and bacon tacos... they are soooo good. They have an awesome taco special until 11:30am each day - 3 for $2.49 - what's even more awesome is that bean & cheese tacos are on the list, but not with bacon, and of all the times I've ordered 3 of those, I've never been charged even a penny more for adding bacon :) I would definitely recommend you stop by and try this place.... they even have a drive thru for those times you just don't want to go inside. This was the first time we had gotten tacos from here. They were small but overall good. Did not eat inside just went through the drive thru. Good price , you are able to get 3 bf tacos mixed for $2.69 with tax came out to $2.91 which is not bad but after 11 then they are more. Not a lot restaurants let you get mixed tacos, they usually have to be the same kind. Wonder how the plates taste...was a fan today. read more

well the place looks like a dump, & the exterior is a real eye-sore for the community. The specials that are spray painted all over the walls looks like graffiti. The interior décor looks unpleasant & tacky, but its very spacious & has a comfortable feeling. The prices are great & the meals are great too. I had to pick one star because it wouldn't let me post without it. I would actually give no star. This use to be my favorite restaurant. I would drive all the way across town to eat a chicken fajita taco but I am sad to say I will no longer stop in there. After they messed up my order they took my name so I could have it corrected later due to the fact I have to drive all the way across town. I went in only 2 days later they said they had no information on this and they just danced around the fact they screwed up. It was only one small fajita taco they messed up and they wouldn't honor replacing one simple taco. When a business won't make right what they did wrong I can no longer trust them. After hearing all the complaints about how unclean it is and how they had messed up other orders over the years I was still a true customer who trusted them because I had never experienced that kind of treatment. Now their honor is tarnished and my trust is gone. I will miss my taco trips tremendously but I will have to find a replacement. read more
