Great service and delicious menu! Plenty of parking out front and easily accessible. We saw the yelp reviews and couldn't resist coming here. Upon walking in we noticed how busy it was for a Wednesday. No worries because we got a booth to comfortably sit in. We had a view to a few TVs, since a basketball game was on, making the experience more enjoyable. I poured through the bountiful menu and couldn't decide. What was easy to order was a house margarita that was on sale. It was a jumbo and a good size margarita. A little on the sweet side for me but none the less, Tequila can't go wrong. I settled on the Shrimp Veracruz that was cooked on top of rice. Shrimp was cooked perfectly, not to tough or dry. The rice was sweet and savory that was cooked with a red sauce. They topped with a little cheese. I thought it was a little bland but shrimp is hard to kick up notch anyways. The portion was also less than stellar. The beans were my favorite. Favorite dish in Phoenix is their Adovado ribs. The staff is pleasant and attentive and I love the patio area, just wish it had a view of the mountain. The decor is eclectic, but back to the food. Start with free chips (always warm and fresh) and bomb red salsa. The red is much spicier than the green and I shovel on as much as the chip will hold. The rice that comes with the meal is the only part of the meal I could do without. The beans, however, are amazing and spicy like everything else. Now the trick with the ribs is to just pull off the most tender meat you've ever had, and mix it with the rice and beans and sauce that comes generously with the ribs. The sauce might be the best part of the meal and I soak the rib meat and beans in it. They also give you a smaller, thicker tortilla that I like to dip in the rib sauce. Great service! The margaritas here are to BOMB and so BIG! Worth the drive out here just for that & the music they play! We had the flautas(chicken) and the carnitas plate. Yummo! Los Dos Molinos makes pretty good Mexican food if you like spicy. I mean REALLY spicy. Spicy to just burn and burn. I recently had dinner at Los Dos. Because the salsa with the chips was spicy enough to burn my mouth, I opted for the Garlic Shrimp, which wasn't spicy at all. The shrimp were OK, but only five-six little bugs and not particularly filling. The big mugs of beer were nice, but overall, this place struck me as too expensive for what you get. The quality was OK, but I have had better and cheaper. I will probably come back because the friendly staff are nice and some friends just seem to love the place. It's OK. We had dinner here today and both of us were super impressed!! This is probably not the place for you if you can't handle the heat. The red salsa is super hot and the green is very tasty, but also pretty hot. I had a burro and he had his favorite, tacos, rice and beans. He also had fried ice cream. This was sadly a huge disappointment on every level and I'm embarrassed I picked this place for date night. First of all, the service was absolutely awful. Our waitress was not friendly and she took ages to take care of us. We had to ask her twice to bring us a to-go box and we had to flag her down to order or ask for the bill. She was also extremely unfriendly and unhospitable, and acted annoyed with me. She made me feel bad for eating there. Second, the food was pretty bad. It's just not worth it. The chips and salsa they bring are not good; the chips are cold and the salsa sucks. I got the machaca beef enchilada and my fiancé got the beef enchilada. Both were drowning in spice and salt, so much so that I questioned whether there was any meat in my meal at all. We did the check-in for the cheese crisp, and it's not even crispy... it's just tortilla with melted cheese. We got sopapillas for dessert, and it looks way bigger than it actually is; the majority of it is just air, covered with a ton of sugar and whipped cream; it's worth like $2. It was so overpriced for what you actually get. We get $60 for all of this, when it should've been a third of this. read more

We had the empanadas which had their delicious pork tucked into a wonderful pastry. We all wanted more. Then table side guacamole was prepared quickly and with great expertise. Ordered 2 dozen "chicken" tamales to go because I used to love tamales from here. Not only have prices gone way up but quality has gone way down, what a great trade off. These tamales were frozen in blocks of ice with what appeared to be with normal filling but as soon as they were heated up they shrunk to show almost nothing but corn and green Chile. The green is great, also, with a spice level of approximately 8.13. (U.S. scale as calibrated under the Pepper Allocation Paradigm). I took the light rail from Tempe twice during a two-day trip since I accidentally got the green chili PLATE instead of the green chili STEW. This is my favorite Mexican restaurant in Mesa. It is unbelievably good. The food is delicious. The enchiladas, stuffed sopapillas, pozole. Every single thing I've tried has been incredible. This might seem like a weird thing to put in a review but their sour cream? ??? Is so good? I don't know what they put in it but I could buy a gallon of it. Their margaritas are top notch as well. We've had nothing but good service when we go. In fact, the reason I'm leaving a review finally is because I ordered delivery through an App™ because I have a friend in from out of town and she has small children, so wrangling them for a 25 minute drive after a day in the pool was not going to work. The App™ screwed up and canceled our order out of nowhere and when I called the restaurant, they were so helpful. I replaced the order and not only was it incredibly fast and fresh, the manager included a dessert for us. It was totally unexpected and just a wonderful surprise. My friend raved about the food from start to finish and demanded that we come back when she's back in town. DID NOT KNOW THEY WERE KNOWN FOR SPICY FOOD At least 4 of my hubby's coworkers recommended this place. So when we both wanted mexican food on a Friday night, we decided to give this place a go! I looked at the yelp photos and thought everything looked really good. What I didn't do was read the goddamn menu or their website because they make it pretty clear that they are known for their food being very spicy So we got our chips and salsa and both the red and green salsas were really hot but we just thought, cool spicy salsa. Again, didn't pay attention to the logo, or freaking pepper fabric on the table, but found our dishes of choice and ordered. We didn't realize that the red and green sauce they use for on the entrees is the same as the red and green salsa. We both have a pretty good spice tolerance, my husband even moreso than myself. Both of us were gasping for air trying to eat our meals . I will say that they were both extremely flavorful and very delicious, if you can tolerate the heat. Spicy! If you like spicy food, this place is for you. Not only is it spicy, it has a great fresh flavor. Both the red and green salsas were delicious, the green salsa being less spicy than the red. The staff is super friendly, so much that I felt like I was at a family reunion! It was a very lively atmosphere. We have been searching for a great one here in AZ. la Ristra in Gilbert was one of our other favs and come to find out it's all in he family! Anyways, I try to give them the benefit of the doubt and decide to order something authentic, so I ordered "Queso Fundido" and "Guacamole". Pretty standard stuff. The "Queso Fundido" was something I've never seen in my life, but open to try. Fried chips with american and mozzarella cheese on top were not a good sign, then the "QUESO" was really more like a FONDUE. When I asked the waitress about this, she mentioned that even herself did not know that as "Queso Fundido" where she's from, but maybe it was the way the owners knew "Queso Fundido". GUACAMOLE with AMERICAN and MOZZARELLA CHEESE on top is also NOT AUTHENTIC, but hey... you can take that off and eat the good stuff. I ordered the "Mar y Tierra" ($15.95) which was expensive for the amount of pork and shrimp included in the plate (About 3 shrimps and 3 bites of pork). Taste was decent, but the amount of food seemed not enough. It was also frustrating to find out that they only gave me 1 SINGLE TORTILLA! My Mexican HEART was SAD! Cannot express enough love for this place. Although the other locations can do an ok job of filling a craving in a pinch, there's just nothing like this location. Phenomenal service that truly makes you feel like you're part of the family. Primary warning is it's spicy, like not a little, a lot. I've taken people that said they "liked spicy" that then retracted saying they didn't like it "that spicy". But if you do like it spicy, this is that deep flavor that builds complexity to the dish. It's amazing. You can't go wrong with Adovada Ribs or the Enchiladas with Adovada, although either way I suggest getting a fried egg on top. Posole is also awesome. If I could pick this place up and move it to Goodyear I'd be eating there probably once per week, but even all the way across town we make it a point to visit.
