I ordered the al pastor torta, which came with rice and beans for $13.99, and it was fantastic. The bread was light and fluffy, and the meat was packed with flavor. My vegetarian friend enjoyed their chile rellano. It was yummy. We also got an horchata and it was HUGEEE! Service was fast and efficient, and I appreciated that they take card. Parking was also plentiful since it's located in a plaza. Inside the restaurant is very simple. You just go inside and order and then can sit anywhere. This is around the corner from our house so we decided to check it out. It's kind of small, but the food was good. We both had the #2 meal (steak burrito with beans & rice) and horchata to drink. (I love horchata!) It was a good sized burrito, and LOTS of rice & beans with a side of shredded lettuce, lime, tomato, and sour cream. You order at the counter, and they bring it to you. It wasn't super busy when we were there so we didn't have to wait long for our order. It's in a strip mall, and parking can be tight so it's a little busier than at a stand alone restaurant, if that's an issue for you. If you're looking for ambiance for a date night, this probably isn't the place for you. If you're looking for good Mexican food, then you'll probably like this place. Ummm yikes!! I don't even know where to start. First and foremost the customer service was good the young girl working the register was super nice. My two star review is going towards the kitchen the food was terrible. I ordered a combination number 4 the two tamales with beans and rice I could hardly chow down 1 beef tamales and 25% of it was super dry the masa was as crunchy as a taco shell I wasn't sure what to think so I didn't bother trying to eat the second one that was just as dry and hard. My boyfriend ordered the carne asada burrito combo he mentioned that the asada was dry and the texture of beef jerky so I'm not sure what was going on in the kitchen lol? The beans and rice were ok but the hot sauce was really watered down so it really lacked flavor. I love finding small mom and pops shops because these types of places tend to have a more authentic taste. Taquitos Jalisco gave me that vibe so we stopped by on a Saturday night. We ordered two wet burritos, one with red salsa and one with green salsa- both were carne asada. The quality of the meat was so bad, it had so much fatty parts in it and I found a piece of onion peel inside of the red burrito. It was such a let down! Food is ok however the pricing is very misleading. We have gone three times and each time for custom orders they give a vague receipt with no specifics on what was charged and why. When I omit, for example, on a plate the beans, they call it custom and charge one dollar more. If I don't want beans, I shouldn't be charged more. It seems shady. read more

As I waited I quickly learned this place was busier than it appeared. Lots of take outs and quick single person transactions. Closes at 10pm and last dine in order is 9:30. Can do take out 9:30-10pm. Staff is super friendly about it and do not appear annoyed that people are walking in last min like some places do. Food was flavorful and really the hit the spot. Mexican restaurants are only as good as the tortillas, and these tortillas were great! You get the choice of corn or flour... both past the test. Inside there are about 7 or 8 four person tables. The lady in front was quiet but friendly and brought the food out to the table. Only thing is, I'm used to adding onions, cilantro, and a dry menudo mix on top, only thing offered is lemon. So grub hub delivery sucks. They didn't tell me my food was there or even knock, so it was sitting outside and got a bit cold. With that being said, Taquitos Jalisco was absolutely delicious. Even cold. The fish taco is HUGE. I loved the different variety tacos and for the price you really can't beat it. I can tell had it been fresh, it would have been five star quality. But it wasn't so that's why the lack of five stars. The beans were a bit too sweet but my son loved the rice. I got a real authentic Mexican coke and I loved that. Great chicken tacos! We ordered the chicken tacos and salsa and chips. Both were excellent If you look at the pictures you'll see catchup and mustard containers that contain red salsa, (mild) and green salsa (hot) and it tasted the best. A couple of things that kept this from being a true five-star experience were; the salsa containers were kind of gross, and the trash container was impossible not to touch because of the door on it. They should come up with another type of trash dispenser so you don't have to touch it and get grossed out. In spite of this, we will be back! read more

This is a tiny little shop with a nice selection of various meats in burrito, taco, quesadilla, torta, or tostada form. They also offer posole and menudo. I had the al pastor burrito which was only $5. It was packaged nicely and a good portion for your money. It was filled with marinated pork and refried beans. My order came with sliced limes and 2 small containers of red salsa. The ingredients in the burrito were good but tasted too salty to me. Even the bits of pineapple that I could taste in it were salty. I did enjoy the refried beans in it to provide a different textural component. Service was very friendly and cheerful. While the restaurant is small it is well maintained and there is a TV in the corner playing Mexican game shows and soap operas for your entertainment. OMG... I cannot believe I haven't reviewed Taquitos Jalisco yet. Talk about oversight... Quick note - #28, #26, and a kid's enchilada plate... The perfect Sunday afternoon meal for a small family! Taquitos Jalisco is the BEST place to get taquitos... in the world. I say that from a position of authority. LoL - I've tried taquitos far and wide... all around the world. The perfection of Taquitos Jalisco has yet to be matched. (Please take this with the humor it's meant to be.) They are crunchy on the outside, chewy on the inside, and smothered in sour cream and guac... just the way they should be. The plate also has the BEST rice and beans (ok, the rice is good but the beans are the best) and a small side salad... you know, so you get your greens in. haha Eat the salad, it's good for you. Aside from the excellent taquitos, they also have great shrimp dishes. And the staff there is always friendly. The only thing I'll say is they get really busy sometimes so plan ahead. Tip - If you're ordering the taquitos, make sure they don't give you the combo #1 which is tacos. You'll be so sad. happened to me once and I've had to correct them during the ordering process several times since. Seems taco and taquito is interchangable in Spanish so they automatically default to tacos. THIS IS THE BEST TAQUITO ever... and their refried beans are superior, too! Man... now I'm hungry.
