We came here for brunch before heading to the hot springs and it was a great stop…read more I got the Main Street Benedict, super yummy! The only thing I didn't like as much was the hashbrowns, they were just okay. I also ordered the jalapeño bread French toast (recommended by our server). I love jalapeño flavor, but I remember thinking it sounded kind of weird for French toast... but I'm glad I tried it because it was so good. They make their breads in-house and I would definitely get that again. I also tried some of my friend's banana bread and that was really delicious too. Didn't get a chance to try these since we had to get to the hot springs soon so thought it's too much food to finish in time, but they had a French toast flight and a Benedict flight, which I've never seen before. Pretty cool, I love anything where you can try multiple flavors. Overall, would reccomend this brunch spot in Idaho Springs. Would come back!

You can just tell - the food is amazing, the portions generous, and the service great. The ambiance is genuine Idaho Springs hospitality. Food here is A+, also the service, and ambience is on point…read more I appreciate the great service from Rick, our server. He recommended a real banger for a beverage in the Brewmaster's Stash, also the brewery mustard for my burger. I'd recommend this location to my friends and family. Enjoy!

I honestly don't like leaving bad reviews, but this experience was terrible…read more I ordered mac and cheese with chili and pork, and what came out looked like plain microwaveable Kraft mac and cheese. There was no chili, no pork, nothing -- just basic mac and cheese that tasted like it came straight out of a box. My friend ordered a burger that was supposed to come with lettuce, blue cheese, and the works. Instead, it arrived with just chicken and bread. That was it. No toppings at all. The water we were given was also incredibly dirty -- it literally looked grey. Service somehow managed to be both overwhelming and nonexistent. While we were eating, the waiter came back to the table every couple of seconds so we couldn't even have a conversation. But when we were actually ready for the check, suddenly there was no waiter anywhere and we fwaited about 15 minutes. On top of that, every request got mixed up. I asked for blue cheese and after about 10 minutes the waiter came back with ranch. Then I asked for lemon vinaigrette (which the meal was supposed to come with) and instead got honey mustard. After explaining again, she came back with... even more honey mustard. We also paid $10 for fries with green chili and received about 15 fries. And one more thing when paying they did NOT bring my card back for about 20 minutes. It was also extremely dark where we were sitting all of the surrounding lights were off but everywhere else in the resteraunt was perfectly fine Overall the food quality, service, and attention to orders were extremely disappointing. Definitely not an experience I'd repeat don't waste your money here.

The beer is excellent, which is no surprise given their reputation. We also tried the sangria, and while it was definitely way to sweet for us, but it was very tasty. We appreciated that they also have a full bar, giving everyone plenty of options. We sat at the bar and enjoyed the atmosphere while looking over the menu. One of the reasons we originally chose to stop in was because they serve Rugby Scott beef. Rugby Scott is our favorite butcher in Denver, so seeing it on the menu immediately caught our attention. We ended up ordering the Italian beef sandwich. The flavor was very good, and the au jus was especially tasty. My only complaint was the size. For the price, it felt very small. We also ordered the Caesar salad with grilled chicken. The salad itself was fine and dressed well, but it didn't really have that classic Caesar flavor I was expecting. The bigger issue was the chicken, which was so dry that it crumbled in my mouth and had me reaching for my water between bites. Despite a couple of misses, we'd come back for the beer and the Rugby Scott burger.

They're currently pouring ciders from around Colorado as well as other cider-producing regions, which made for a fun tasting experience. It was a great way to try several different styles and producers in one place. The food looked fantastic, and several people sitting near us spoke very highly of what they ordered. We'll definitely be returning to try the menu for ourselves. What really stood out, though, was the hospitality. The owner was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to talk cider. The staff was equally welcoming and made us feel right at home. Overall, it was a great experience and a perfect fit for Idaho Springs. We can't wait to come back and spend more time there.

We stopped at Clear Creek Cidery & Eatery because we liked their outdoor seating. The weather was perfect for enjoying a nice, shaded outdoor lunch. Our group of six all ordered water for drinks. The server brought us filled glasses and then told us if we wanted any refills, we could get them ourselves from the big cooler jug outside. Um...okay. The rest of the service was pretty much the same -- apathetic. We ordered a flight of beer for the four adults at the table. It was about $30 and came with about 15 small glasses of cider, one of each flavor they served. We shared it and got to sample everything that way. I ordered the Cider Burger (medium rare) with fries as my side. It came out medium well, which instantly ruins and dries out any good burger experience. The fries were tepid as well. I don't think we even saw our server again until the end, and even then we had to wait for awhile for the check. So, overall, It was just an okay experience. If I'm in the Idaho Springs area again, I wouldn't return to Clear Creek Cidery & Eatery. I'd definitely explore other options.

For our Italian portion we had the garlic cheese bread to start and tiramisu to finish. Both were amazing. We frequent an Italian restaurant in California where the chef is from Italy as well as most of the servers. We've BEEN to Italy. This was the best tiramisu we've ever had. Service: A 10. From the adorable gal that greeted us to our server and the manager that runs the place with so much pride we thought he was the owner! Ambiance: For us it was another 10. Warm, cozy, welcoming. The greetings and interactions on the phone were the same as being welcomed at the front door, nice. Ambiance: Typical Mountain town pseudo-fancy place with indoor and outdoor seating. Open concept. Caesar Salad: 3 The Romain Lettuce was weak. Not green, vibrant, nutritious Romain... check the pic. Also, a Caesar with "balsamic glaze" is spitting on the idea of a time intensive anchovy dressing. This dressing did not taste homemade and had balsamic which effectively ruined it. Elk Stew: 3.5 The stew was hearty, thick, and quite delicious... and over salted. Potatoes, carrots, mushrooms, plenty of elk. The bread bowl was soft and tasty. It would be ideal to be a sourdough locally baked bowl, IMO. Overall, I'd try it again at some point.
