Came in for a quick bite to eat before a show down the street at the Troubadour. Everything was great. Staff was friendly and helpful, the food was made promptly and brought out to us. It was towards the end of our meal that things got interesting as I had asked for hot sauce for my taco sampler The server mentioned some super spicy taco they had. Now I can handle extreme heat (I could do Hot Ones no problem) and more often than not I'm let down by what most places consider spicy. Not this time however I knew it was gonna be good when the staff from the kitchen started to check me out after it was ordered. They were being sly but by the end of the taco I feel as if I had earned their respect, I'd give it a 7 on my heat scale - it was hot and also delicious. A great experience all around - thank you Guisados

The masa tortillas weren't fresh and tasted gritty. They were room temperature and I would've preferred them warm. The meat ratio was generous, but they were super watery and there was a pool of liquid at the bottom of my plate. The flavor of the meats was just meh, a bit diluted for good Mexican food. The only saving grace here was the shrimps which were plump and juicy, but still not enough to carry this experience. The shop interior is on the smaller side, but there are a good amount of tables and chairs. There's also a bathroom which seemed clean. The service was pretty good here.

The service and staff is top notch as you would expect in this part of town. The food is absolutely incredible the steak was cooked perfectly, the appetizer are delightful and plentiful. Great place for a meal or a party

A small restaurant located inside this plaza in Beverly Hills that you would never know about unless someone told you. Every time I've been, the waiters, service and management have been so nice and come check on you constantly. There are several sections in the restaurant (I think 3 but I could be wrong), but we've dined in the main room which has a retractable ceiling for when it's too sunny out, they have a bar area that has a small little lounge section in the back of it, and it looks like there may be another section that I haven't been to. The place definitely gives off those Latin vibes and you feel it once you arrive. As for the food, my boss ordered appetizers for the table, which were shrimp tacos, flautas, and empanadas which were all very good! My favorite were the flautas with guac. For my main dish I went with the Chilean sea bass with a side of broccolini and rice. That sea bass was phenomenal! It had a nice sweet glaze on it with a very slit crisp texture on the top. One of the best! The Hideaway goes down as one of my favorite spots in Beverly Hills and I highly recommend checking it out. OOOOO 5 out of 5 Afros

I had heard about the soft opening of The Rooster and I wanted to see for myself what all the crowing was about. Being one of those who believes burritos to be the ultimate foodstuff, I was delighted to see that the first item on that little menu was the "Rico Sauve," which turned out to be Rooster code for the DOPEST (all caps) of all breakfast burritos. Being a vegetarian, I asked if I might have my "Rico Suave" sans bacon. "No problem: everything is made to order." It arrived, shortly thereafter, all snug in its perfect tortilla, almost too hot to pick up. As soon as I took a bite, I wanted to repeat the experience, but I paused a moment to savor and to investigate. Everything was there and accounted for: the tator tots, the avocado, the cheddar and Cotija cheeses, the cilantro sauce, and, most spectacularly, the eggs, which had not been scrambled but instead lightly hard boiled so as to preserve the beautiful orange yokes. I can only imagine how good the bacon would have been. I will probably be the neighborhood again on Monday, having some business nearby, at which point I will be faced with that happy challenge that inevitably follows whenever I pick well from the menu of a thoughtful kitchen on my very first visit: do I relive the experience or move on and see what else The Rooster can do to make my morning walk brighter?

This is the impossible breakfast sandwich. If the reason it's expensive because they're buying name brand products maybe they should rethink their ingredients. A vegan sandwich can be extremely cheap to make. I saw the other food on the menu but this sounded the best. So I'm not sure if I would try any other products here they had similar prices.
