My friend loved the fish and mango margaritas!
    Melanie V.

Amazing food, appetizers, and music! So far we have tried the Mexican combination plate, fajitas, queso fundido, fish and shrimp. The corn and flour tortillas as amazing! Also, the wide selection of drinks are amazing! Mango margaritas were a favorite! The Mexican pastries afterward are too hard to pass up! .. so worth the hour drive we made twice already! We hear breakfast is great so we ate looking forward to another trip. One more thing, on Friday nights 6-9 pm are mariachis so is you don't like loud music, this may not be a good time for you to go. But we LOVED them so we were beyond happy !!

Delicious authentic Mexican food at reasonable prices. My family and myself have tried various dishes from here and have loved all of them. The flautas, menudo (spicy) and tortilla soup are some of our favorites. The menudo is spicy, so keep that in mind. The ambiance is great and so are the prices. They have happy hour deals and live music on certain days. They also have a bakery and tortillería next door and the pastries and tortillas are fresh and delicious, they have whole cakes for sale as well (Tres Leches & Choco Flan are some options.) Give this place a try!

    Green chili pozole with sides.

We ordered the green chili posole and huevos a la Mexicana. The service was good and it wasn't too loud except for a group of older gentleman that look like they meet up on a regular basis there. For some reason our booth was vibrating. The coffee seemed a little odd tasting. I didn't ask for almond milk because I've asked before and they don't carry it there. However, the plates were authentic and the pozole was surprisingly good. I think this place does a good job at controlling the amount of salt in their food. Many restaurants put way too much salt and that's not good for blood pressure.

I have visited Los Jarrones Mexican Bar and Grill twice this year and would have visited more often if I had lived nearby. Los Jarrones is on the west side of El Paso on Redd Rd, almost across the street from an Urgent Care facility. The entrance to the restaurant comes quickly, so be ready for it. Their parking lot is ample. The restaurant is clean and features beautiful Mexican decor, a panadería, and a little jewelry shop stand. The first time I visited Los Jarrones was a morning during the work week, so it was not too busy. I experienced caring customer service and home cooking like food. Los Jarrones play Mexican music in the background and have several TVs in the restaurant and Bar area. I have had their Chile Colorado plate and Lengua a la Mexicana breakfast plate; both were delicious! I didn't love their corn tortillas, but their flour tortillas were perfect. The restaurant is big enough to host groups, but call them beforehand so the staff is ready for your group. The last time I visited was on a Sunday morning, and it was packed; my family and I waited about 15 minutes to be sat, and the wait time was not bad considering how busy the restaurant was. Los Jarrones staff takes their time to care for you by providing caring customer service and delicious food.

This is a great place for rustic, traditional Mexican recipes you would find on the ranch. They have a huge menu, that being said you might have to try a few items to find your favorite. For example I was unaware that their hash browns are really papas con chorizo (spicy). Delicious none the less. They don't specialize in any one thing. I would definitely stop again especially in this part of town.

Location and parking are great! The building is huge and they have a panaderia and tortilleria on site. Chips and salsa were great. Main dishes: I had the sopes with beans and rice and he had the tampiqueña steak. It came with peppers, onions and lots of melted cheese! Also with a red enchilada which he ate before the steak!!! Service was excellent, our server was attentive, quick, and kind. To top it off, there was a couple playing live music... they were so good. They also have a bar... and we saw some piña coladas and mangoladas pass by on the trays that we plan on ordering next time! Great place for breakfast, lunch or dinner. We will be back.

The ambiance was busy for lunch time. The service was very poor. The food on the other hand was very delicious. I was sat promptly by a friendly cashier/hostess but sat for a good 10min before I was acknowledged by my Server. Server offered a refill but NEVER brought it. Server may have forgotten to put in my order Caldo de Albóndiga and a Burrito took 25 min to arrive. Server never offered dessert or to bring my check. Server did not even stopped by for a "how's everything" table touch. While great things take time this was a little too much. I will try this establishment again in the future because the food was outstanding.

Horrible service! Come here if you want to wait over an hour to get served. Food wasn't even warm. I regret going.

Good menudo. Good balance of meat and hominy. My only complaint was the over buttered and soggy bread that accompanied the menudo

It was very heavy and very cheesy. There was something super heavy about that I cant describe. The staff was super nice and got us our food and drinks and refilled our salsa n chips often. My friend had the mole item and felt it was way too sweet/cocoa on it. Overall I would've wanted to try the other machaca items and other things. The vibe is very homely and chill, bit of a hole in the wall atmosphere.

I had just flown in from the airport, and my brother arranged it as a special family gathering. Everything started normally: we were seated, ordered our food, received our drinks, and enjoyed the complimentary chips and salsa. Then my sister (who is LGBTQ+) stepped away to use the restroom. When she returned and sat down, a manager approached our table and loudly told her--in front of other diners--that "MEN cannot use the female restroom." My sister was mortified and humiliated by the public confrontation. The manager's tone and assumption were shocking and clearly discriminatory. We immediately got up and left without eating. This wasn't about enforcing any legitimate policy; it was rude, insensitive, and targeted. My adult sister is perfectly capable of reading the restroom signs herself--no one needed to police or shame her in such a way. The incident felt rooted in homophobia and transphobia from management. We will never return to this place, and we will actively discourage others--especially LGBTQ+ individuals and allies--from patronizing it. What should have been a joyful family milestone was ruined by bigotry. Avoid this establishment if you value respect and inclusivity.

I bumped it up to four stars for the super friendly service and the excellent aguas frescas. We got there late, about an hour before closing and they were literally trying to get rid of the aguas for free. I guess they have to dump it if they don't use it all. It was close to our hotel so we gave it a try. Portion sizes are good. The taco platter comes with six tacos! I had the flautas Chinampa which came with four beef flautas, beans, rice, and salad. I forgot, the taco platter even came with a baked potato. Prices were excellent. We had gone to McDonald's in the morning and spent more. They also cave us frijoles charros for free. Not sure if this was standard or if they were also trying to get rid of it. I would return for the service and the convenience, but if you're looking for life changing Mexican cuisine, it's not here. What you get is a good amount of decent food at a good price served by great people.

Had multiple thousand Google reviews and they were all close to five stars. So I knew I had to check it out. It was super close to my hotel, so I popped in the car and found it without trouble. Trouble. Again, there is pretty limited parking so it's kind of hit and miss whether you'll find a spot or not. Fortunately, I did. When you walk up to the place, the building itself is pretty nondescript. They have a nice selection of outside seating, and your window to order is outside. Very nice lady at the counter gave me helpful suggestions and so I ordered three tacos and an amazing lime and cucumber fresca. Went in and sat down inside and was pleasantly surprised by the interior. It definitely had more of an upscale bar vibe to it than a Taco shop. The waiter that brought out my tacos told me that it turns into more of a nightclub after hours. I may have to go check that out. The tacos themselves were absolutely off the chain! The tortillas were blue corn and everything on it tasted so fresh and so wonderful. The carnitas was fantastic, the brisket Taco was to die for and the blackened shrimp Taco was one of the best I've ever had. Had. The flavors were so balanced and on point, it was one of the most satisfying taco experiences I have had!! I will probably hit this place up a couple more times before I leave El Paso. If you are in El Paso, you probably already know about this place. But I'm telling you what you cannot go wrong for tacos and that lime/ cucumber fresca! Bottom line? It's about 10 hours drive from Las Vegas to El Paso. And this Taco shop will give me a great reason to do a road trip anytime. Do yourself a favor and go check this place out!
