This place is barely a 3 star. Love the atmosphere/decor The drink special was odd (buy 2 get 3rd free) The chips seemed out of a bag (maybe not that good) the house salsa was just okay quite tomato-y no spice The menu options were different (in a good/okay way) but - the pork tamal was dry The tostada pretty good (although eat it quick - mine got soggy) The burrito was ehh I had just rice (and it was good albeit bland) They do have Coke products but no CZ The sweet tea was alright Not a horrible place but I will not go out of my way to return here

Very happy to have found this place. Being from California, I have become somewhat of a Mexican food snob. I dislike Tex-Mex. This place is trafitional and good and excellent Margaritas. Looking forward to going back

The food and service all 5 stars the restaurant has such nice decor and the bathrooms are very clean! The decorations are very close as an authentic restaurant in Mexico. The waitress was very kind and attentive. I recommend to go eat there when they barely open if you want to have a quiet meal along with some good Spanish music in the background.

This is new as it has one of those bendy windy guys out front and some balloons. There is no outdoor dining but two sections inside. There is a sit-at bar but behind it looked empty and pathetic. No liquor bottles or drought beer. The inside was very clean and nice. Painted decorative tables and chairs and brightly colored walls. They had a few TVs. Server was nice and attentive but literally asked what I wanted to drink before I had even sat down or before she brought the menu. They have Coke products but no Coke Zero. Happy Hour special are but 2 get 1 free margaritas and beer. Chips were average (likely from a bag, not warm or salty). Salsa was thick tomato paste consistency and blah. Chalupa was good. Cheese quesadilla was not very cheesy and quite small. Hard taco was ok. The refried beans were my favorite and the rice was nothing special. I had tea and it was ok. In general I think it's ok but will not likely return.

Amazing that this place isn't busier. Of the 3 Mexican restaurants I've tried in Leesburg, this one takes the crown. The decor is attractive and authentic. There is a dining room as well as a bar area. We sat in the dining room. Drink offerings include beer, wine, Mexican soft drinks, lemonade and tea. The food menu is extensive. I ordered carnitas, as I do in every Mexican restaurant. It was properly cooked, with a hint of cinnamon. It came with rice, beans, tortillas and lettuce with a spoonful of pico. My wife had a taco salad with chicken. It was small but delicious. Prices were reasonable. Service was attentive and friendly. We are headed back for our second visit in a week.

Alligator country! So im here visiting with friends who live near this place. We walk in and literally the record player scratches to a halt and everyone in the bar (all of 4 of them) stop, turn and stare at us. This is where it gets fun! People obviously know we're not from around these parts and quickly walk up to us and start introducing themselves. And here are the names they used... Giggalo Jim, Gator Mike and a few more i cant remember. Im not making this up. It was hard to keep a straight face. So we have some cocktails and play some pool and eat some of the best boiled peanuts that i've ever eaten. A bit later Gator Mike walks up to us and says "Ever been on an air boat?" We all reply "no" and he proceed to say, i know a guy who has one down the road who would love to take you guys out on it. Now i know I've been told not to go with strangers ever since i was a kid, but dammit if i didn't want to go on an air boat! I'm 6'6" and about 260lbs, so if they can lift me and kidnap me, they can have me! I just hope they have a strong back! So we all look at each other and tell Gator Mike that we're game to go do this air boat ride in the middle of a swamp, infested with alligators and with a guy we've never met. Here we go.... Gator Mike drives in a car ahead of us and we follow him to the edge of a swamp where we see his friend. We get out, get introduced and off goes Mike. The air boat "captain" tells us to get on and buckle up, we do. he goes to the front of the air boat, open a compartment, pulls out a red cup, a bottle of Kessler Wiskey, some ice, fills the cup, fired up the boat and off we go. Im thinking to myself at this point that we're all dead and about about to be fed to the gators. But that wasnt the case at all. this guy was funny and actually pretty safe. we saw tons of gators, i got some great pictures (http://www.jskeffphoto.com/skeff/travels/florida/florida_07a.jpg, and http://www.jskeffphoto.com/skeff/travels/florida/gatora.jpg) and it was all crazy and fun and its a great story as you all can tell from this review. So if you're ever in the middle of no where in northern Florida, go here and enjoy the locals!

Don't walk...run to this gem. Hands down the best restaurant in The Villages, Florida. Amazing…read moreservice (Shauna - bar), food and views. I had two apps - the tuna and the fish dip. Both delicious. My only (minor) suggestion is for the tuna, use thicker chips, as the topping are all wet. The chips were saturated- but still delish! Such a great spot. A+++

My mom was out of town so my dad and I went for an early Father's Day celebration. Unfortunately, it was one of the kitchen's off nights as the calamari which is normally cooked perfectly came out rubbery and overdone. Wait staff offered to have the kitchen remake it but my dad wasn't sure it would come out any better the second time, depending on how the kitchen was timing or judging the cook. He opted to get the voodoo pasta which I had ordered as well. The chicken in the voodoo pasta was also overdone and on the chewy side due. Pasta sauce was definitely bland in comparison to the sauce from a special the week prior that our same waiter had said was actually the voodoo sauce. Sad that nothing came out how we'd hoped, especially on a celebration day. One last note for readers: the dining room to the back right of the restaurant is extremely loud and hard to hear even those you are dining with, regardless of the number of tables filled.
