the location is outside of my typical area, but i was curious to try the empanadas. the restaurant was clean and quiet, there is plenty of seating and ample parking. the empanadas - i had one each of the chicken and beef. they were finger-burning hot, even after 15 minutes of letting them sit to cool, but i was so excited to try them, so i had to dig in regardless of the burn they were pretty greasy & small. the beef was really good. the chicken was stuffed with a tiny trace of chicken and i dunno what else, maybe masa, but they are definitely mostly filled with the other ingredient and way too little chicken, so it was hard to judge the taste and texture of the chicken. the corn "shell" was nothing to write home about. so-so. it was reasonably priced, but the portions were teeny. the salsa provided was a cucumber-ish relish or similar, refreshing and not spicy at all. it was just ok, or may be a better accompaniment with a different dish. i may go again, to try a few of their dishes & if we go back, i will certainly update my review read more

So, I was really excited to try this place! Moving from Florida, my expectations are pretty high. I wasn't too hungry so I only ordered a beef empanada, a buñuelo, and an arepa stuffed with chicharones. The empanada, I was not a fan of, barely tasted the mean, and the "ají" was a bit bland and definitely not what I am used to, it had too much tomatoes (which I've never had in my ahi before) The buñuelo was actually pretty good. I was very pleased with it. Will definitely want to order more. The arepa was also bland. They didn't have a large arepa, which is how it comes, they said it would take 45 minutes to make!?!?! I'm sorry, I've never made or seen an arepa take more than 5 min to mix and cook, even the waitress was confused about that. But whatever, they gave it to me in two small versions, which was fine but I was charged almost $5 for the chicharrones and the cheese, I was confused about that, I don't think it was worth it and probably won't buy it again! I can't give it more than 3 because I have not tasted their dinner food or anything else but based on the buñuelo and fresh juice they get 3 stars. I might come back but probably not go out of my way! Definitely go get some fresh buñuelos tho! read more

New Colombian restaurant in the area and gotta check it out. Ambiance: great music, modern / Colombian decor, plenty of space to accommodate big family to dine-in, staff are super friendly. Food: Tons of options to choose from and the specialty dish are on point. Highly recommend asking for some chimichurri salsa to compliment with the dish. Service: the staff are super friendly. Overall: the restaurant provides real taste of Colombian flavor dishes and look forward to seeing the restaurant blossom. Will revisit the restaurant in the near future. read more

Our first visit and last. First the beef and chicken empanadas and accompanying sauces were good, also the Papa Rellena. After that tried and assortment of meat and sausages type appetizer, chicken was tender but the other meats were on the chewy side. BTW, don't order their drinks without asking price, mojitos $15.60 each OUCH! At the end our check showed an automatic gratuity of 15% which they have the nerve to charge if you spend more than $80, they also want an additional tip on a seperate line. Spending $80 is not highlighted on their menu so you get a surprise. We have too many other choices to waste time and money on instead of the place. read more

I went in and I payed 46 dollars for two soups and one did not have any meat I dumped everything out I know there was no meat and I took it back and the lady came and she she showed me that there was meat in it when I know there was not so what else are they putting in our food when we purchese food I've never been so upset i asked to speak to manager but some guy just told since I took the food they could not worst services ever will never recommend this business ever read more

Excellent food, arrepas were big and filling, Ajiaco was rich and flavorful, and service was quick and helpful!

Food was okay but really, really lacking flavor. Service was abysmal. We waited at least 10 minutes anytime we asked for something (a plate, fork, check, etc). They have liquor on the menu, but apparently don't have the license yet as they can't serve any alcohol. The ambiance looks cool from the pictures, but when you go in everything is BLACK and very very dark. On top of all of this, the food you get for the price, is lacking. Would never go back again. Ordered $131.01 in food/drinks. I ordered 2 empanada plates. 10 empanadas total. The empanada plate with 5 empanadas each comes with only 1 aji & 1 white creama? Ni idea lo q es esa creama? I asked Sebastian our waiter if I could please exchange the 1 white creama for 1 aji and he said no. I gave him the 2 creamas back, plus a 4 cup, cup holder and an extra to go cup he brought to help the restaurant save. When he tried to collect the payment, I said I'd still want 2 more ajis please, only 2 isn't enough for 10 empanadas and he said he would need to charge me for it. I said ok. He brought the second bill and I started to take a photo of everything, and he asked my why? I said I wanted to post on social media and he started saying I was a "grosera" he took out his phone and took pictures of me and my MINOR child. Mi hija started covering her face. Said multiple times she was uncomfortable. I told La mesera Michelle q mi hija era una menor de edad y no consiento de photos o vídeos pero Sebastián siguió tomando photos y vídeos de mi hija menor. Le pregunté q como era grosera, I didn't understand y no dijo nada. So violated. Very upset. My daughter was traumatized and asked we never go there again. In one word TERRIBLE, food flavorless, we ordered the mondongo, as i had it before but theirs the taste was as just plain cooked tripe, the broth, vegetables were cooked separately or something nothing. I hate to bash a restaurant, but this by far has been the worst Colombian restaurant I've ever been too. First I am Colombian and I've eaten at many different Colombian restaurants. My go to is always the Bandeja Paisa. It's been my favorite since I was a kid. Their bandeja was the absolute worst. The meat was so dry that it was in eatable. The beans had no flavor, the rice was harder than a rock and the egg was over cooked. Only good thing was the chorizo and the blood sausage. Next, I order 10 buñuelos and they were the worst I've ever had. They weren't soft at all that I ended up throwing them away. Now, I live in a town that has no Colombian restaurants what so ever so when I travel, I always make a point to eat at one and this by far was the worst and my taste buds weren't satisfied. Ambiance was nice but that's it. The server wasn't much help just stood by the bar and didn't offer at all if we needed any refills on our waters or drinks (please note there were only three Tables occupied in the whole restaurant so it was not busy).$8 for a 2 inch Arepa was not worth it especialy since it was over cooked and hard as a rock. The Bunuelos were over cooked as well and we could only eat half of one cause it was also hard as a rock. The rest of the food was alright but prices were too high for food that was not cooked with care. Maybe it was a bad day for them but not worth the money to try again another time. read more
