The food was amazing, the service was top notch and the prices for being Isla verde- tourist trap were reasonable.

The food was delicious! Mozzarella sticks freshly made not frozen! Went to eat here 2xs while I was staying in the area. Service was great. Muy buena comida!

    The drinks were delicious

This restaurant was next to our hotel and I am so happy it was because we went twice while on vacation. The servers were all extremely kind and the food was always delicious as well as the drinks.

Checking out local spots off the resort led us here .... There are a few of these, and I believe they are opened 24/7 The food was decent. I had a difficult time getting fresh fruit that wasn't overripe. But the shrimp dish was great. The staff was pretty efficient. We went during the Halloween weekend, and there were many interesting sites in the T Mobile district There was a pretty large group of us, and they were good at keeping up with our food orders and getting the food out fresh and warm. Unfortunately, the wait was pretty long, and there were a few mishaps. Puerto Rico has some of the best food. The flavors and seasoning is always top their.

First stop on the PR tour! This spot is right across from the beach (Isla Verde); there was not way when arrived and the restaurant has a bar, dining area, and private space so it is good for large groups. Drink Review (the bar left a little to desire but it wasn't bad) Pina Colada - a little water ftasty and strong Strawberry Margarita - tasty but syrup was very thick Passionfruit Mojito - strong but the flavor was not the best Food Review (now this is where they SHINE!) Salmon - well cooked and flavorful Mashed Plantains - a fan favorite of the group; rave reviews from the whole group Skirt Steak - delicious and flavorful Penne + Shrimp - a little heavy on the penne sauce but the garlic sauce addition made it slap! Fried Pork - dry and a bit overcooked (the only miss from the group) Overall, this was a great first stop and lunch spot for the beginning of our trip! The service was great as well; very friendly staff that gave great recommendations! Tip - ask for the garlic sauce!

My husband and I were looking for a place with octopus salad. We saw this place was 3 blocks from our rental car drop off location. So walked over looked at the menu wasn't impressed. We asked the waitress about the octopus salad she said she did have it. So we sat down and ordered. We were a little nervous, didn't know what to expect. The place was empty on Wednesday evening. The food finally came and oh my word. It was so amazing. It tastes authentic. We ordered the octopus salad with green plantains and a crab yuca mofongo. SO GOOD!!!! Please do yourself a favor and stop by if you want delicious Puerto Rican food.

We had a party of six and we all ate very well and everyone took food home. The appetizer was absolutely amazing with a true spread of wonderful Puerto Rican food. As you can see in the pictures attached to this post there was no shortness nor anything small about everything served to us. The service was wonderful and the owners came out and greeted us and ensured we had an excellent meal. Our drinks were always refilled promptly. They have a great selection of local cervezas to choose from. I had the Ocean blood orange cerveza. As we dined we overlooked the terrace surrounded by huge beautiful pine trees and of course beautiful Puerto Rico . Music played in the background adding to the ambiance of the evening. Such a memorable experience from the moment of arrival until we left. Out of our whole trip to the enchanted island, this was the best of the best in all aspects. It may be a little difficult to find by Google maps but asking a local, they knew exactly what we were looking for! We will definitely return without a doubt! Gracias Amigos for an amazing experience!!

Stopped by Los Pinos for dinner recently. There only one waitress but she was efficient in running the bar and serving guests. For dinner, I requested grouper in a creole sauce, my wife, churrasco, my daughter, a Cubano, and my son, breaded chicken. All of our meals were very good. Service was slow, but friendly.

Service was good. And the shrimp mofongo was really good. Good place overall to try if you're in the area

I ate here a lot because it was near my hotel. The food is good and I'm glad I got to try numerous things from their menu. I love that the restaurant is 24 hours and has the option of inside dining or outside on the patio. I had food there at 3am,11am,9pm and the service is always pleasant.

If you're looking for the best asopao on the island... your search stops here…read more I've never had something like this before. The flavor was ridiculous in the best way possible, the shrimp was perfectly cooked, and the tostones were notably fresh. 10/10- you MUST go. Out of all of the gumbo variations I've had from countless regions, Puerto Rico's is my favorite. Particularly from La Cueva Del Mar. Our server, Nicole, was an angel. She is SO SWEET. She made the experience even better!!! It was packed and very loud at 7pm on a Thursday, which is a nonissue for me, but if your party prefers a quiet meal, be mindful of timing.

The Meh: I liked this Cueva del mar in calle loiza but this experience was subpar. Prior to even ordering, I asked if their famous fish tacos would have the same coleslaw with their special sauce intermixed like it's been since 2007, but in recent visit on Dec 2025 was not the same. He stated he understood. When it arrived, the cole slaw was dry, not the same famous fish tacos i've been used to for years unfortunately. It was unnecessary for the waiter (male in his 50s with black ivy cap) to insist to try to prove me wrong stating that "it's always been this way and i've worked here for 15 years" when my mother and i have had these fish tacos since it opened originally in guaynabo circa ~2007. Mind you, i am bilingual and overheard the waiter talking to the kitchen. Their solution was to bring sauce on the side. My partner ate 1 fish taco, I ate none. When we left the establishment, the waiter went outside to stop my fiance. The waiter never approached me to apologize directly por el mal rato. I also found it extremely distasteful to have to overhear an employee (brunette) on her break (or otherwise) with her foul language near our toddler. We'll just have to stick to another location that treats customers better.

We arrived a little early so we walked around a little beforehand then sat on the bench in front until they were ready. The space is narrow. A row of tables on the right, steep stairs in the back to an intimate space for 6 people, a tiny kitchen in the back where all the magic happens. We ordered 11 dishes for 4 of us to share. The tostanos, the ceviche, I enjoyed it all. The waitstaff were friendly and accommodating. Most fascinating was the wall hanging along the right side. It was waving the entire time. Of course we asked about it, and we were told that there is no fan blowing behind it. The waving tapestry was caused by a suction from the kitchen.

This was my first meal in Puerto Rico and basically my introduction to Puerto Rican cuisine. They offer a twist on classic dishes, which kind of threw us off but I still enjoyed most of the dishes! I really liked the asopao, empanadas, tostones, and the guanime (dessert). The other dishes were good as well, but a bit on the salty side, which I'm just not used to. The only thing I didn't like was the alcapurria, which I think you can get better ones elsewhere, but it was definitely worth trying. We got complimentary ice cream beans which was nice because I love trying exotic fruits! And the rocio de miel is a great cocktail if you're like me and you like sweeter, lighter drinks. Our server was very attentive and patient, explaining the menu to us since we hadn't tried most things before. It was a very nice experience and great introduction to Puerto Rican cuisine!

If you're staying in Condado, I'd probably just grab an Uber rather than make the walk. The service was exceptional from start to finish, and reservations are definitely recommended. This was honestly one of the calmest, most relaxing restaurant experiences I've had in a very long time. Because of that, I probably wouldn't bring kids unless they're exceptionally well behaved. It's just not that kind of restaurant, and I'd hate to be the one disrupting the atmosphere everyone else came to enjoy. The clarified espresso martini was as visually intriguing (it's completely clear) as it was delicious and smooth. The fried chicken and pork belly were both outstanding, and I'd happily order either one again. Overall, if you're looking to splurge on one memorable meal in San Juan, Vianda would be high on my list.

I've been coming here for years and this is what I've learned, take it from a local. For a quick bite, alcapurrias are a MUST -- especially beef or crab.
