Caen, 4/5: The biggest omelette I've ever seen. Love how it wasn't oily, tastes healthy. The vegetables weren't really cooked though, the spinach was a full leaf and the onion was pretty raw. I didn't mind since it was refreshing. The lamb is very good, turkey is dry but that's kinda turkey's thing. Didn't love the bread, it's a huge toast with balsamic vinegar so it has a bitter aftertaste. I tried other people's dish and the meat is good all around. Nothing was salty or oily, really good flavor. Huevos Enojados, 4/5 - chorizo was kinda sweet, almost like an Asian sausage and the steak was flavorful (lil dry). Really good! Croissant Cordeo, 3.9/5 - meat was really unique, almost like a paper kebab--tastes like a breakfast sausage. Croissant wasn't crispy tho... that tanked the rating. Interior is really stunning! Vintage look. Parking is all along the other side of the road with free 1 hr parking.
Great place for brunch/lunch. Extensive menu. There's something on there for everyone. Visited on our last day and we all wished we had gone sooner as we would have definitely liked to go back again. I can see why it gets very busy. Portions are very large. Some dishes may be best for sharing. Had the stuffed avocado with shrimp and it was delicious. The avocado was large and very fresh. 3 of us had this and we all really liked it.
I made a mistake walking into this place. The service was poor and ambiance was cold. Everything was well presented and esthetically pleasing... but I also expected great service and delicious food. It's over priced and undercooked. I allowed 2 stars only because I did enjoy the martini. However, I suggest not an entire bag of pistachio on the rim of my cup. It's a waste of inventory and money. Highly do not recommend if you are hungry.
If you want a good breakfast with large portions this is the place to be. It was busy but we were sat immediately and our waitress was patient. The strawberry kiwi popsicle mimosa was so exciting to drink. Im stealing that idea for a girls night! We were craving pancakes so we ordered an American breakfast as well as skirt steak Rancheros & Papas Griegas. Everything was good. If youre in PR make sure to go as the menu is extensive.
Bistro Cafe was phenomenal. Be prepared, the menu is quite literally ginormous. It may feel overwhelming at first, but it's an exciting overwhelming knowing that anything you get is going to be delicious and filling as all portion sizes are huge! It was super affordable, which is always a nice touch. Our server was beyond wonderful, kind, and very accommodating given that we had non-meat eaters and gluten free members with us. I loved the feel of a Puerto Rican diner. It was such a special experience. Be sure to get there as early as possible as it is walk in only and extremely popular. We waited an hour and a half. I will recommend this place to anyone visiting San Juan!
This place is a must see in PR! The menu is extensive and the food is great. I had the pancakes with dulce de leche and fruits & my husband had a plate with eggs, bacon and pancakes. We got orange juice and tamarindo juice which tasted fresh. The service was quick and our server was really attentive. We went with our 3 month old and were sat in a booth away from the music which worked for us. This place gave really great brunch vibes. Come with an empty stomach.
Wait was long but expected since the place is popular. Place is bigger than expected but only had one working restroom. Service terrible but let me tell you why. So i ordered the churro French toast 10/10. Had a hair in my omelette long black disgusting. And no it wasn't mine my hair is brown curly in braids. They offered to remake it and did but at this point im nervous looking through everything didn't even eat it because now im scared. So i address that to the manager who was also our server and another manager who said didnt they remake it and only took off $5 like i didnt eat it because it previously had a hair. Friend enjoyed chicken wrap 10/10 my other friend got a pastrami sandwich she said basic. Their fries was good. But honestly that experience was negative. Got a lady going around taking pics you ask the cost she say it's free for me to take the photos but once it comes out she like $20 for it like you just said free.

Really good food! I've tried the location in Miami. Service was a little spotty. It's a much larger location than what it looks like. The shrimp mofongo was good. read more
We ended up coming here all three mornings we were in the area. Omelettes, pancakes, oatmeal, mimosas, stuffed avocado - everything was delicious and all portions were generous. Our wait staff were always welcoming, friendly and helpful. read more

This breakfast was so amazing. We got the croissant carnitas, chicken and waffles, and blackberry iced coffee. My husband doesn't usually like croissant sandwiches but he loved this one we traded plates. The service was amazing and kind. Cute little place. read more

Servers were super nice. The drinks were 10/10. The food was pretty good and they had a big portion so you can even make it shareable. Very spacious, I preferred the back room as it's more intimate. read more

I absolutely love this place for brunch the ice matcha is my fav always, the food is huge, the music and the ambiance gets a feeling of being in ibiza and the service 10/10 the also took a picture of us! read more
We visited twice during our week's stay in Puerto Rico. Each time, our wait for a table (for a party of 2) was less than 10 minutes. The food was absolutely amazing each time, and so were the beverages. Service was good. We really enjoyed our server during our second visit. She was more attentive to our needs and personable. Whereas the server during the first visit seemed really rushed and short in communication. Our food was brought in a reasonable time considering how busy it appeared each visit. Food portions were large, and we found ourselves having leftovers each time. The ambiance was pretty noisy, but definitely giving brunch vibes. Parking was challenging to find each visit, but if you ride around in a circle long enough, eventually, a parking spot will become available. read more
Place is very good and the hype is definitely worth it. If you go early you don't have to wait too long. There's no reservations; first come first serve basis at this location. It's a tad pricey, but I guess you pay for what you get. The portion of the meal is extremely huge and definitely worth sharing for sure. Tried our best to finish everything we shared and didn't have left overs. This place isn't huge inside but it's def IG worthy. Would come back again. read more

Visited Puerto Rico a few weeks ago for my boyfriend's cousin's 40th birthday trip. She wanted to eat at Bistro cafe for brunch given all the good reviews on social media. She was right, it didn't disappoint. Be prepared, the wait time is usually at least an hour but food and beverages come out quick. They don't allow any outside food or drinks so be mindful as well. Portion sizes are ginormous. I went with the avocado toast and I could barely finish it. Very casual but nicely decorated restaurant. read more

Great place! Get there early to make a reservation and to get parking! (Traditional take your name and party size) Awesome place to have an amazing breakfast / brunch to start your day. Creatively creative creations from coffee to drinks to food. If you are traveling to PR and want an great authentically new place to eat this is it! Very instagramable/ photo worthy place inside and out! The food not only looks good but is good! If you like to share their portions are large enough. If you are hungry this is the place to get your grub on! Can't say enough about this place! Try it you will love it too If you love nutella and fruit with crispy French toast and whipped cream get the tostadas francesas locas. We each got a specialty coffee oh so good! read more
My favorite meal of the day is breakfast, so when I say my meal at Bistro Cafe was the BEST BREAKFAST I EVER HAD IN MY LIFE, I mean it!! I seriously couldn't believe how delicious everything was! My party of 4 arrived at 10:30am and were told that there was a 30 minute wait. Thankfully, we only had to wait for around 20 minutes before being seated. I was a little disappointed that there wasn't outside seating because I wanted to enjoy the morning sun, but when I saw how aesthetic the interior of the restaurant was, I forgot all about sitting outside! I was instantly enthralled by the extensive drink menu, and since I usually start my mornings with some type of coffee, I ordered the caramel iced latte. This is NOT your typical latte! The Rim of the cup was lined with dulce de leche and cookie crumbles, and was topped with a heaping helping of fresh whipped cream and cinnamon sugar. My mom tried one of BC's signature "ice pop mimosas" in the pineapple flavor. It looked gorgeous and was so refreshing, especially with the fresh fruit. I didn't think this could even be possible, but the food was even better than the drinks! I had the churro pancakes, which were topped with whipped cream, chocolate chips, and bananas; and covered in cinnamon sugar. I just ordered the side order, which came with 2 pancakes, but the full order comes with 5(!!). I have never met a pancake that I didn't like, but even I couldn't finish these pancakes--not because they weren't delicious, but because even 1 pancakes with all those toppings left me feeling so full. My mom had a croissant sandwich, and while most people see bread as simply a base for a sandwich, this croissant really shined on its own! It was so flaky and buttery, I was contemplating ordering one for myself to take back to my hotel! I may sound dramatic, but it's completely true that I have never had a better breakfast than the one I had today at Bistro Cafe!! read more
I've been trying to come here for years, but it's always packed. It's kind of hood once you finally get in. The service was great, the food was not good at all!!. Overpriced and not worth it. The one thing that I absolutely loved was The passionfruit popsicle cocktail!! DELICIOUS . I had bout 5 of them thangs!! read more
Absolute 10 out of 10. If you come to PR, you have to come here! Ordered the following: Stuffed avacado steak and shrimp: 30/10 everything seasoned well, and came together. I recommend a little more feta and more guava sauce on the side. Get this! Side French toast: 7/10 pretty good, nice crisp, ask for toppings on the side. Croissant cosa rica: 10/10 unexpectedly amazing. Meat was seasoned well. The honey butter on the croissant plus the sugar add a balanced experience. Try this if you can. Excellent customer service. Seating a little tight. Nice atmosphere. Drinks are decent but overpriced. read more

Come here hungry! The portions are almost ridiculously large, so be prepared to share dishes, which is what most people seemed to do. The food is really tasty and freshly prepared. Our group enjoyed the avocado toast, omelettes and french toast, and appreciated the efficient and super friendly service. Saw a lot of suitcases by the door, so think this is where people enjoy a last great meal in PR before they head to the airport. Much better food choices here! read more

This place is crazy packed. I had the breakfast croissant with bacon and ham and it didn't disappoint. It's a whole nother level of food compared to most places I've been to so far this trip. Would def come again and recommend to anyone. Their portions are huge (croissant wasn't too crazy) but their omelette looks amazing and a huge portion They have music playing in the background, not too loud and it's good music to chill and enjoy read more
Please like and comment on this review !! The wait is worth it!!! We tried to come on our first day in town, there was an hour and a half wait time. We stayed as long as we could but the rain made us leave. This restaurant does not have a space for you to wait so we had no covering other than a bus stop across the street. We returned on our last day, and came in before 12 noon. The wait time given was 45 minutes. We snuck over to the bar area and asked for a menu. We ordered some espresso martinis, they were delicious! Another friend ordered a lavender mojito which I also tasted and it was tasty. Not the usual over bearing floral taste some lavender drinks have!!! When the rest of our party arrived they were not allowed to join us at the bar area. Which made no sense as there was plenty of room and they also wanted to have espresso martinis while we waited. We were seated in less than 25 minutes from the time we added our party to the wait list. Thankful because service once we were seated was extremely slow! Almost missed our flight home, although we were there before noon and our flight didn't leave until 4 pm. So I do not suggest going here if you have anywhere to be within 4 hours. Ordering is very chaotic, we could not fully understand the menu and the server could not fully understand us. We had a friend that pulled up the restaurant's Instagram page so we ordered based off pictures we saw on the Instagram page. The food was amazing! Huge portions, we wished we would've shared items instead of us each ordering something. We all had food to pack up, it was delicious and very filling! The ambiance in the restaurant is cute, chaotic, people every where, and it was packed both days we ventured here! After eating the food we know why!! This place is a MUST TRY! Check out the photos!! Off the plane at the airport to start my vacation my son brought me to this Bistro and wow first the hospitality was top-notch and the service diamond status. Also made it in before rush hour so we were seated as soon as we arrived. we ordered a regular latte with almond milk and my son ordered a caramel Latte, both were beautifully served and adorned to perfection. Huge portions for breakfast, we ordered a Rey Madame French Toast is a huge French Toast sandwich loaded with Ham, cheese, and 2 eggs on top and fruit on the side. my son had a tripleta omelet with cookies and cream pancakes. both were delicious. The restaurant is close to everything in Isla Verde, has a very lively happy vibe, and is highly recommended if you are in the Isla Verde area. read more
Very popular place, and aesthetic. Plenty of seating, and the waiter we got was very friendly and helpful. He also gave us plenty of recommendations of what to do in the area. The food was good but did come in big portions so if you're not that hungry sharing with a friend might be a good idea. Their dishes are also very creative and different as well as aesthetically pleasing. So it's a good spot if you're into taking pics. They also have a large menu so plenty of options to choose from. I was on vacay when coming to this place so I'm not sure if I'd ever make it back. I also felt the food was a bit too heavy as we came for breakfast so I did leave stuffed. read more

5 Stars - A Must-Visit Brunch Spot in Puerto Rico! Bistro Café absolutely lives up to the hype! It's a super cute and popular brunch spot with plenty of seating inside, perfect for a chill weekend outing. When we arrived, there was no wait--which was amazing--but by the time we left, there was a line out the door. I highly recommend making a reservation or getting there early to beat the crowd! Our waiter, Juan, was phenomenal--friendly, attentive, and spot-on with his recommendations. The food? Incredible. Huge portions and amazing flavor. You could easily share a plate if you're not too hungry. My wife had the Jamón omelette--massive, fluffy, and packed with flavor. The bread it came with was perfectly crispy and delicious. I went with the Ray Madame and a latte. The French toast was cooked to perfection, more of a breakfast sandwich vibe, and absolutely delicious. Everything we ordered was beautifully presented and super creative. Only downside? The parking situation. It's rough. Definitely a headache, so plan ahead and arrive early if you want to find a decent spot. Prices were a bit above average, but for the quality of the food and the experience, it's totally worth it. I'm not complaining. We'll absolutely be back, and I recommend that anyone visiting Puerto Rico make it a point to eat here at least once. Bistro Café is a gem! read more
Bistro Cafe came very highly recommended, and I see why. The wait might be long, but it's definitely worth it. When we arrived, we were advised that the wait would be 45 minutes to an hour. ..ughhhh! Oh well, when in Rome. We gave our name and number and waited to be called. Because you can't wait inside, and they have security at the door to enforce the rule. Bistro is very cute and Instagram worthy with a nice coffee bar set up. The menu itself is 8 pages long, a little overwhelming, but I glanced over the menu before coming, so I had an idea of what I wanted. The portion sizes are HUGE no matter which dish you choose. The presentation is wonderful, and all the ingredients taste fresh. The drinks were not too strong but balanced well. It's rather pricey but worth every penny. Our server was excellent, very attentive, and friendly. The hours are 7a-3pm. I suggest you come early. They also take your photo, and it comes with a glass frame for $20. All in all, this was a wonderful experience despite the wait. I would definitely return again. read more

Food was good. I had the two meat avocado rellanos (steak and shrimp) as recommended by other yelper. We had the french toast as well. This place is not cheap but servings were large enough for two meals. Servers were attentive. read more

The food was amazing! We ordered the Frida, Trifongo, patatas mexicanas, and a fruit croissant. Huge portions so I'd recommend sharing a few dishes depending on party size. Drinks were tasty and creative, several of the cocktails are included a popsicle inside the drink. Restaurant decor was bright and tropical. Lots of color and interesting furniture. Our server was really friendly and made some great menu recommendations. We stayed about 30-60 minutes past closing with no rush from the staff. Appreciate the hospitality! read more
