If you want authentic Puerto Rican food this is the place. It's a chain restaurant with lots to offer on the menu. I was staying at at the Embassy suites and it was close. The menu is big. Portions are good and prices are fair. I didn't take any pictures of the food because I was hungry and ate it all lol. This is what I ordered. Chicken soup with Mofongos- very good Stew chicken with rice and beans- very good Mini yuca alcapurrias-very good Guava cheesecake-very good I also love they have plenty of sauces the cilantro oil, garlic oil, hot sauce, and of course mayo ketchup. All of the above with a drink was less than $25. I'll for sure be back when I visit again.

I stopped in at the recommendation of someone else. The staff is bilingual and I tried to remember a little of my español. Good food at reasonable prices if you like avoiding the mainland food brands. There was enough room for small groups to come in, eat and relax from the heat. I'll be back. Oh and the lemonade! Absolutely. Perfectly balanced and not too sweet.

DELICIOUS food. Order at the counter wait for your name to be called. Many authentic options to choose from. Service was fairly quick. Lowest prices here.

Food was authentic, tasted great, and was fast! Restaurant was not great esthetically but served its purpose. A bonus is there is a drive thru!

For a fast food place, I got some quality stuff!! I'll recommend the mufungo and the #1. Food came out fast and staff was friendly enough. When options are slim and you don't know where to eat, but looking for PR food I say this place is pretty safe. I don't know how "authentic" it is but it was pretty tasty! Only thing is I would skip the salad side option. Was a little sad. Idk if I would eat in person the place is a bit bare and seats were flipped like they were closed but other than that solid!!!

Better then expected! Food comes out quick. Seating inside and drive thru available. Was pleasantly surprised with the food here.

This restaurant is conveniently located near the beach, and I feel like it can best be described as Puerto Rican fast food. The menu is fairly long but if you're like me and not wowed by the cuisine of Puerto Rico, you may not find anything. There was a line when we arrived, but the line moved quickly. I ordered the tostones rellenos with mushroom and meat, and they seemed fairly bland (but that seemed to be the theme of PR food to me). I added hot sauce to the plantains, which helped, but it still felt like it was missing something. If you're not prepared to wait for some of the other dine-in restaurants in the area and you want a non-American fast food option, this is worth a try. Prices are high for fast food (in my opinion), but the wait for food wasn't too bad and there was plenty of seating available.

Shrimp mofongo

I went to this place expecting a good experience and that's not what I got. Let's start with the good, the service was good the staff was friendly, most Boricuas are! I had the churrasco(Puerto Rican style BBQ) and the shrimp mofongo. The shrimp mofongo was descent, the mofongo was pretty dry but it had a good taste and the shrimp flavor was okay. The churrasco on the other hand was not good at all, specially the meat! The meat had a really weird texture and flavor, like it was on its way going bad? Just a very weird taste. I paid nearly $20 bucks for this plate alone took ONE bite and threw everything else away. Good thing I did cuz I felt slightly sick shortly after and not so much cuz I only took one bite. I was kinda disappointed I can't deny. I love Puerto Rico I really do but this place left me wondering why. Boricua food some of the best food out there but this one was far from it. I'm going to stay away from this place. Los Gorditos was really excited to try you out, but did not have a good experience at all.

This restaurant was recommended while in PR so decided to give it a try, it was definitely not a favorite. It was alright compared to other amazing places I had tried in PR. They do close early which is unfortunate, however their drive through is open for longer hours than restaurant hours.

Fast food place! The fact that it's close by our condominium. Price was decent and you can get authentic Puerto Rican food The food was delicious! Service was quick and price was very reasonable. Ambiance clean place nothing to brag about. But I will be returning to this place while on vacation

Rice, pork, onions and plantain

Another fast food restaurant. Rice, onion was good. Plantain was delicious. The pork was semi hard and very very greasy. Restaurant was clean.

I was doing a day trip from NY to SJU. After the beach we went to get some mofongo. We found this place literally about 6 or 7 minutes away from the beach. We ordered a mofongo with chicken another one with fried beef and my daughter got French fries and chicken nuggets plus we ordered two desserts. Each meal had a drink, all for $28 which I couldn't believe. What a bargain for some delicious food. Will definitely be back next time I'm around.

Ok customer service. Ok food. More like a fast food for Spanish food. Dim lighting. Tables needed cleaning. Small portions. Great Frappes.

It was recommended by one of our tour guides so it is a great option for both locals and tourists. It had a nice atmosphere and very large menu with many different types of options. The Frutti di mare was one of the best pastas I've ever had! It had almost every type of seafood you could want. A great option for someone who wants to try a bit of everything. It was large enough to satisfy you but not too large where you have to take leftovers it back to your hotel. It also came with a salad and delicious bread. My husband ordered the yucafongo pollo, and was very impressed. It was also filling and well made. The drink menu also had a lot of options. I went with the sangria which was super tasty! It's more on the fruity side. Our service was great and we didn't have to wait long for a table or our food, although it seemed busy. Whether you live in the area or are just on vacation, I would recommended trying it out!

The service was a little confusing at first. We were seated and expected to access the menu through a QR code, which wasn't immediately explained to us. We initially expected traditional menus, so there was a bit of uncertainty before we realized how the ordering process worked. We were also seated near one of the air conditioning units, which made some members of our party feel a bit cold during the meal. However, once the food arrived, all of those concerns quickly disappeared. The food was incredible. Rich, flavorful, and beautifully prepared, every dish at the table was delicious. The arroz con pollo was honestly the best I have ever had in my life. It was perfectly seasoned, comforting, and packed with flavor. Every bite felt like authentic Puerto Rican cooking at its best. Our family thoroughly enjoyed the meal, and it made for a wonderful birthday dinner for my wife. While the service experience could be a little clearer and some seating areas may be colder than others, the quality of the food more than makes up for those minor issues. I would absolutely return on a future visit to Puerto Rico.

My wish that night was to find a place offering fried whole snapper and it was on their menu - and I even called ahead to be sure it was available that night. So I was hyped to try their snapper version, and it didn't disappoint. The vibe of the restaurant was that of a friendly neighborhood joint, possibly a bit retro time-wise. Service was prompt and informative. We both had cocktails, and Paige said it was one of the best whisky sours she's had. With the snapper - which was HUGE - I had an order of mamposeao, a rice and bean stew that was amazing. My wife's chicken parm also got a great review from her. We parked in the small lot directly in front of the restaurant, and there was an attendant to help with parking.

The food was incredible. Everything we ordered was flavorful, comforting, and clearly prepared with care. My mother even commented that the arroz y habichuelas reminded her of her grandmother's cooking, which is probably one of the highest compliments a Puerto Rican restaurant can receive. The meal felt authentic, homemade, and deeply satisfying. I ordered the stuffed avocado, and it was absolutely to die for. It was one of the standout dishes of our entire trip. The staff was attentive and worked hard to keep things moving despite how busy the restaurant was. You can immediately tell that this place serves a very high volume of customers, and for good reason. The only thing that may confuse first-time visitors is the seating process. People generally line up in the hallway adjacent to the dining room and wait to be seated. At first, it can feel like organized chaos, but the staff clearly knows how to manage the crowd. Given the popularity of the restaurant and the amount of people coming through the doors, the system works. The quality of the food for the price is outstanding. This is the kind of place you visit when you want authentic Puerto Rican food that tastes like it came straight from someone's family kitchen.
