This review is long overdue, as I've been coming here nearly every Tuesday for months. Their Taco Tuesday is an incredible deal at $1.50 per taco. They are street-taco sized and must be ordered in pairs, so plan on three pairs (six total) for a solid meal. I've definitely taken down eight on extra hungry nights because why not. My husband once ate twelve, but this is also a man who has finished an entire tomahawk steak solo, so maybe do not use him as your benchmark... or maybe do, because they are only $1.50. Worst case, you have breakfast tacos tomorrow. Full disclosure: my experience here is almost entirely their tacos, but they are so consistently good that this is my go-to taco shop any day of the week. Carne asada, pollo asado, and adobada are my favorites, but I have also enjoyed carnitas, birria, and shrimp. Their full-sized crispy chicken tacos are great too, and those are $1.99 on Tuesdays and ordered individually. Are these the most mind-blowing, reinvent-the-taco experience you will ever have? Probably not. But they are consistently delicious, reliable, satisfying, and priced so well that it becomes an easy, frequent treat instead of a splurge. Ordered a couple of breakfast burritos and a Jamaica agua fresca drink in the drive thru today. I ended up finding a maggot worm floating in my drink. I completely lost my appetite and was so disgusted especially since I already took some sips before I finally noticed it. When I removed it from the drink on a paper towel it started to squirm and move. Clearly the drink fountains are not being properly kept and cleaned as they should be! This is so unsanitary and disgusting. Please make sure and check your food and drinks from here!! You may even want to go elsewhere. The food here is always good although I noticed they charge a Credit card fee and a cash fee which is illegal and when addressed to the lady at the front she denied running my debit as a credit card even though she did which is illegal. They also are charging a open food fee which is only if the food is modified due to their pos system which what I ordered did not have modifications. I'm happy to have found a great taco shop in the area with great prices and good food. I got the taco tuesday special with carne asada and another one with the shrimp. The shrimp was good. The carne asada one was very delish though. My mom loved her carne asada quesadilla and my husband has gotten carne asada fries and liked it and he's pretty picky with that. He's also gotten tacos and a burrito and he's enjoyed it all. I got their jamaica and that was delicious too. We take the drive through and they're relatively quick with it. Customer service has always been good when we've gone. Overall just a great spot in town and it's open late so we love to come here for a late night fix. read more

Tiny mighty Taco stand and so much more than tacos! Walk up or drive thru, and sometimes there's a line but they are quick, so the wait is never long. The staff are friendly and helpful, I have never had a mistake on my order and I have been there dozens of times. Young Girl working register tonight needs to be retrained on customer service manners and respect. I understand she's young and immature but standing there lying about the customer to her fellow employee while the customer is standing right there, AND the order was not cooked as ordered. She wants it to be the customers fault, I order it all the time that way and never seemed to be a problem until she was at the register. If you can't cook it as ordered let us know ahead of time so we can take our business down the street. The food is usually great here today. The service is not so much. Ok place is pretty good usually , just got pozole for the first time . Straight broth pork and some onions and hominy . No color couldn't even of been mistaken for a verde . I think pozole is pretty standard dish and if you advertise as pozole it should be up to a basic standard of that dish . I've had quite a few things at this little drive-thru Mexican restaurant and I've never been disappointed. I've had street tacos and the Pollo asada burrito as well as a Pollo asada taco. The Pollo asada Taco is a meal in itself. I also really like their grilled Pollo bowl. The only downside is, when I first started ordering it it was about $8 and now I think it's about $15. That's quite a price jump but it is good. @$8 it was quite a deal but @ $15, almost double the original price, it's not worth that price IMO. read more

This may be the most mid "taco shop" in Ramona. Pricey for no reason. Charge card fees in 2023--yikes. Stingy with the sauce. To get an idea of how mid their breakfast burrito is, it contained chunks of boiled or soft potato, tasteless beans, and scrambled eggs. The carne asada quesadilla is tasty.
