Service was mediocre they weren't friendly nor mean. On the other hand price that was paid was NOT worth it. The food was very bland. fries were undercooked. The burrito tasted like sourcream on tortilla. 15 dollars is outrageous for a tasteless burrito. This was disappointing since we've had the food many times before but, it has never been this poorly made. :( read more

Visited 2/20/2025 Well it's been years since I visited Mananas. They used to have reasonable priced Fish tacos so I was shocked how high they charge now in a world that has thousands of Taco Joints much better than this. I'll be fair and say 2 1/2 Stars is a fair assessment. I ordered one Fish Taco and One Shrimp Taco. $12.00 Sorry but far overpriced for two tacos that sell all over for under $4.00 each. I found after checking out their menus much of the prices are overpriced. After eating my tacos I wasn't impressed with mostly cabbage and lacking sauce no flavor in the overcooked shrimp and Fried Shrimp. Sad with spending over $15.00 with a soda and Tax. i asked for my carne asada fries with beans and sour cream and cheese and extra beans and they gave me my carne asada fries that had no beans at all and the fries were so undercooked and tasted bland and i payed for extra beans and came with no beans and they charge for beans just for it to come with no beans. And when i had confronted them they told me you had to asked for it to be extra crispy. I come here all the time spending my money and all of a sudden i gotta ask for them to be extra cooked and never had to before. Bad experience here. Customer service was terrible. When ordering through the drive-through, the employee rushed me and got frustrated when I kept adding to my order. Three stars because they have a really good breakfast. Today I tried a premium burrito for the first time, it is called the Campechano burrito. Described as a flour tortilla with a savory filling. I learned that savory means a large amount of rice, two shrimp tail, and some chopped pieces of what tasted like yesterday's carne asada. I quit coming here years ago due to the food going downhill, but figured I'd try again after having a great breakfast there a couple of weeks ago with friends. I should've went somewhere else, this was bland, tasted like brown rice and ended up in the trash. They should be ashamed of themselves and the $18ish dollar price. I'll never return. read more

Pros and Cons: Con : fish burrito should have lots of flavor for $12.99. All it comes with is shredded lettuce and tartar sauce. Not even a good fish burrito sauce but watered down tartar sauce. Not even an onions, tomatoes, nothing! So I ask them to add on onions and tomatoes and that's an extra $1.49. Crazy. I wish I stopped anywhere else, maybe rubios for that price. This was bland, not to mention one small slice of dry lime for that burrito. No juices came out. You'd think three slices would be nice for the $$$. Pros: Jose. We used the drive thru around 10pm and it was pretty quick service with a few cars ahead of us. My rolled tacos supreme was amazing! Loved the sour cream , guac, lettuce, and cheese on top!! We also ordered a taco plate (#3). The beans and rice are really good. We ordered a California burrito: the carne asada was too salty. Tortilla was kind of hard. Visiting family today and we stopped by here to eat. They always come here to eat and said it's the best! I got an Adobada burrito. It was pretty good, super juicy and had a lot of guacamole in it. The salsa was pretty good also, it had a little kick to it. I definitely didn't find any cockroaches in my burrito haha. By the time I actually got my food, everyone I was with were already almost don't with their food, so I wasn't able to get a picture. I did get a picture of the birria plate, which looked so good! My reason for the 3 stars is the food took FOREVERRRRRR! It was over 30 minutes before we finally got our food or at least some of it, the other half of our order took even longer and we didn't really get anything that was too complicated to make. People who came in way after us, got their food and ate it and left already by the time we finally got ours. We went up to ask if our order was almost ready and they looked at our receipt like they were confused by it, because they completely skipped our order. I'd be interested to stop by here again the next time I'm in town to try other dishes from the menu, just hope the next time they don't forget about my order. read more

Lets start off with me having to repeat my order at least 5 times at the drive thru speaker. Then, after arriving at the window, they confirm the order again. So it is safe to assume that my order will be correct. This is were I have been patient. Mananas staff gets the order correct 50% of the time (1 STAR). I have to call and explain that my order has cheese on it and I cannot and will not eat cheese, no one will answer the phone (1 STAR). $20 order. Every time I've come here they've gotten our order wrong even when it's incredibly simple. The portions aren't great compared to other spots as half the plate seems to be lettuce. Staff isn't very friendly, either. Seems like you're almost bothering them. The food tastes good, there's just better options available down the street so we only end up here when other places are closed. read more

Best breakfast burritos in town. Ramona anyway. Glad they are now serving chips to go with their great salsa bar. Bacon, egg and cheese enveloped in a warm, fresh flour tortilla in one of the best burritos they make here. Nothing says "good morning" like a big fat chorizo burrito from Mañana's. Now, I've read the ingredients on a package of chorizo once, yet I still eat it. First time trying Manana's chorizo, it was really good. It was on the milder side, mixed with egg and cheese. Chorizo is inherently greasy and this burrito was no exception. I was only able to hold it upright until about half way down. Bright orange grease pooled on the plate and I began to fear a bottom blowout so i finished with fork & knife. Manana's also makes one of the better taco shop machaca plates in Ramona. I only wish the rice was hotter. Extra points for being served on a real plate! read more

We have been visiting this restaurant once a week,(at least)for close to two years. We have ordered probably at least 10 different things on the menu and everything is delicious and fresh. They serve very flavorful food and super hot salsa. My two favorite things are the queso birria tacos and their shredded beef crispy tacos but everything else I've had is great too. read more

This is the Good, all around Mexican food restaurant. Not the fancy one, not the hole in the wall, but the comfort food one. It's a casual sit down or take out with a drive through. Staff are usually pretty helpful and quick on orders. Their specialty are the tacos and burritos, I personally recommend the Chimichanga. They put a lot of meat in them with minimal filler. The flavor has always been excellent and the portion size leaves you full. The meat and veg are fresh, and it's a great sit down and relax after along day. I only wish they were open at the time I left for work in the morning. lol read more

I don't leave reviews unless they're bad one's. Owner is the absolute definition of a jerk. Absolutely no respect whatsoever, he cause a scene over a restroom key with no apology after the fact. If you have an open restroom that says "customers only" that statement should apply to EVERY paying customer. Not only did that whole event wreck any enjoyment of the meal for me, the food was hard enough to enjoy in and of itself, overpriced for such mediocre quality. To sum it up, SH*T service, MID *SS food, and the owner is a c*nt. If you're going to support a family business, do yourself a favor a pick a different one. read more

With lots of choices for Mexican food in Ramona it's really hard to decide where to go. One of my co workers recommend this place because it had a drive through and I'm glad I tried it. It was kind of a long wait in the drive through but it was well worth it. I tried the Cali burrito and it was great! One thing I loved is that they used regular potato's instead of fries and it tasted like they were seasoned. The burrito was a good size but the thing that stood out the most is that the carne asada they used tasted great and there was a lot of it in the burrito! Most places fill the burrito with potato's and sour cream but there was a lot of meat in this burrito! I got two green salsas and I wish I would have gotten more because it tasted great! I glad I came here it gives me another option when I'm at work know I can't wait to try other menu items! read more

Mañanas has been my go to for the entire time I've lived in Ramona, but unfortunately it's starting to feel like it's time to find a new Mexican food place. The prices here keep going up, while the quality of the food keeps going down. Half the time, the order is incorrect and you have to go back through to get the actual right items. The other half, it's cold or there's barely any cheese in the quesadilla or meat on the carne asada fries. The employees are usually apathetic, if not down right rude. Just not worth paying the high prices for mediocre at best food anymore. read more
