    Burritos
    Jeanine A.

Ordered a burrito after a long flight. Had just gotten to my hotel and I wanted something quick and satisfying, this hit both notes. The delivery was fast and the food was bountiful and hot. Temperature and spice. I ordered guacamole on the side and it about blew my socks off. It was great with the burrito. The also sent along another sauce that I can only define as "hot enough to erase your taste buds" so that was a no. Good food, fast. I'm happy.

This place is amazing!! We were skeptical at first because it is a whole in the wall (attached to a gas station). This place was super good and very authentic. Great service and nice selection of food and drinks. The chips and salsa were so good, you can tell it's house made. If you want a good meal come here!

Chile Relleno swimming in some sauce

I feel like I'm being a snob whenever I say this, but I'm from Southern California, where the culinary options are endless, and with so many people with a diverse culture, there's a myriad of authentic places. This place is ok. I was really hungry so the first few bites were great. Haha! Chicken Enchiladas (baked) they're good but have a lot of sour cream in them. Chips and salsa: The chips are kinda stale. The orange salsa was surprisingly spicy (good job!) Chile rellano: is...soupy. It's the weirdest chile rellano I've ever seen. It's for my husband and he isn't home from work yet so he hasn't given his verdict. Don't worry, I got him carnitas burrito for backup because the chile rellano didn't have the best reviews. Churros: they shamefully messed up churros, which should be a culinary offense. They put chocolate sauce on them even though it was for delivery (instead of putting it on the side), and they have some sort of fruit flavor in the middle (maybe like a jelly)? Gross.

Worst Menudo EVER, I see why it's not on their menu. As a Mexican, I'm very disappointed in the taste and presentation of the food.

    Mar y tierra was EXCELLENT!

Great food and service! On assignment in the area every two weeks from PA and this will be my go to spot for Mexican! Gracias!

    Question

The food is better than what you see in the pictures. We almost left because of the location but glad we decided to try it out

Delicious Food! We are staying at the Sleep Inn & Suites near DIA on our way from FL to AK and this cool little restaurant is right across the street. Eating here was a great way to end a long day of travel. The great food we shared (we had a bean & cheese burrito with green chile and pico de gallo, along with chips & guacamole), along with the Mexican ambiance and friendly service, was an unexpected surprise and we will definitely be back any time we're in the area. Highly recommend!

Carne asada fries, my opinion is that it tasted more like machaca fries. Still freaking great!

I feel like 3 stars will lead you to think the wrong thing. I eat a lot of Mexican, as I live in southern California. Hell, I'm married to a Mexican! Los Robles seems legit. The menu has everything you'd want including specialties. I was in the mood for Carne Asada fries and this was the closest place to me so I swung in. Immediately, the red flags were the only Mexican place in the area and attached to a gas station. Then when you go in, all the green flags hit: more than just tacos and burritos (sopes and tortas are always a good sign on the menu), bottles of coke, Mexican beers, etc. My order was delicious! Not the best asada fries I've ever had (more like machaca fries, which if I saw on a menu I would've ordered with a different expectation) but definitely good and enough to make me contemplate going back while I'm still in town for work.

The atmosphere was great and light. They served us fast and we weren't waiting long. The food itself was really good too. Very well seasoned

Not too friendly (didn't get a arm welcome) but food was close to home. I'm from San Diego, CA and I approve. Small business. More for order to go. Has some area for sit down. Would return to the other foods.

We had a wonderful time and as always a delicious meal. We've been here before, and always been impressed. The food is delicious and the service was great. I think the food was a bit pricey but for the inflation prices impacting everywhere it's about common. For this meal and 2 sodas we paid $57.00. The music was awesome back to the 80s rock and reminded me of back home. Service was on point. Had a delicious meal on a Monday evening. Great local joint!

Looking at taco places, I went with something close by to our location and found this hidden gem. Nestled away on a small street corner of Clay Street and 32nd Ave. parking can be scarce, but I'm sure with the right time and a little bit of walking you will find and manage your way here. Outside the restaurant, they have a small seating area which now is winter too cold to enjoy, but I'm sure in the spring and summer and fall time is super enjoyable. The inside, though a little bit tiny and no cozier than going to your mom's house and expecting a family Filled living room/Kitchen. We went down and greeted by three smiling faces. We already looked at the photos online and knew we want tacos so opted with the chicken tacos and Carne Asada taco plates. The tacos place option came with 5 tacos with up to 2 choices of meats the ratio would be 2:3 .. freshly mashed guacamole made in front of you or freshly sliced avocado.. In the pictures I listed you will find each chicken and Carne Asada options. Both slow pictures missing two tacos because we devoured them as soon as we got into the truck. Their street tacos are heavenly! Chicken option was all chicken breast super juicy grilled to perfection five tacos on a plate another two tacos missing because my husband and I devoured it. This plate came we asked it with the guacamole option instead of fresh avocado. The carne asada was just FULL of flavor and the fresh avocado slices with green tomatillo salsa SLAPPED.. the tortillas are super soft and tears from how fresh the flour tortillas were!! Definitely a place to sit and eat there to enjoy the hot food. I'm originally from SoCal and a heavily populated Latinos with amazing tacos and food.. Taqueria La Familia passed the bar high!! We can't wait to come back and try other options and will update pictures and review then!

Service was excellent, and the food was lowkey incredible. We shared the small elote dip (elote is always a hit) + ribeye + marisco molcajete, and downed almost the entire basket of chips + salsa (husband even needed some of that green sauce to go and they delivered). We ended up also ordering churros to go (easily reheated in the microwave, who knew) and this was like, the first time I've ever *truly* raved about churros (I think because this time they were really dense, which I loved). We alsooo didn't realize that Sunday was all-day happy hour, so some cheap (and very strong) margs didn't hurt either. Will absolutely be back!

The food was delicious! We got $2 chips and salsa off the happy hour menu and the queso con soyrizo (not on HH menu) which was served with warm tortillas. Honestly we probably didn't need all that because the tacos were so good I could've just filled up on more of the tacos, but still was a great meal! I ordered the lengua, pastor, and taco special (breaded shrimp). They were all so good. Think taco quality of a good street taco spot but with the ambiance of a cute tex mex bar. Spend so much time parking and then waiting, at what point do you give up and leave empty handed? Restaurant is VERY LOUD. Finally got a table and ordered OFF MENU. I was vaguely familiar with Chef Richard Sandoval due to his brief appearance on Top Chef, but didn't know too much about his cuisine. The brunch has a really fun and original idea in that you can order bottomless small plates for $42 per person or bottomless food and drinks for $59 in person, with a two-hour limit. I would have loved to try that, but we had a lot of plans that day so opted for the à la carte menu. I chose a mimosa and my friend chose a michelada. for our drinks We shared the ceviche. I ordered the chicken tinga enchiladas, while my friend ordered the fish tacos. We shared all of the food. The ceviche was excellent, flavorful and fresh. I enjoyed the enchiladas. The portion was generous. I wasn't too fond of the tacos. There was nothing wrong with them, aside from the fact that I don't like breaded fish, but they just didn't have a ton of flavor. I will say service started strong, but then fell off a bit. Our server and food runner were friendly, but it was hard to get extra utensils when we needed them.
