    Wet Burrito

Awesome service. Good food and good vibes. We walked in randomly on our weekly date night and stumbled upon this place where they had live music playing for the night. The vibes were awesome and the band was performing old school rock. The food was delicious. We ordered the wet burrito and Camerones relleno. Tasty and complements a beer/margarita. I'm so glad we found a good Mexican spot with good vibes.

I was craving ceviche and came across Dos Amigos while searching for restaurants near me. This place does NOT disappoint! The food was fresh, delicious, and packed with flavor. Our server Tony was absolutely the BEST!! Tony welcomed us as we walked in and immediately sat us in a booth and went over the specials. The ambiance was inviting and not loud even with the baseball game on. We will definitely be back again real soon.

Came for dinner with hubby for the first time. Chips and salsa were brought to our table, salsa was yummy and flavorful. We shared a molcajete which comes with steak, chicken, chorizo, grilled nopales, jalapeños, green onions, cheese, and salsa includes a side of rice, beans, and flour/corn tortillas everything was yummy!! Steak and chicken were flavorful, rice and beans have a good flavor as well. We were served by Edwin who provided us very welcoming, consistent, and friendly service, let us sample horchata, and gave us info on their Sunday brunch.

Sooo good and the service is amazing!! Our go to is the margaritas and the mojarras. Would be back very soon

So yummy! Went to dinner with the family and it was the perfect spot. It was seat yourself and they had live music going, I will say it was a little hard to hear because the music was really loud but he was playing some good songs so I was okay with it. For my meal I got a pineapple margarita, it was the perfect balance of sweetness and the tajin rim was so delicious. I also go the beef birria burrito traditional style and it was sooo flavorful, it came with the cheese oozing out of it. It was really busy in there so it took a while to get our check but the service was really nice. Would definitely come back for their margarita mondays!

From the moment you walk into Dos Amigos, they set the tone with their famous chips and salsa fresh, crunchy, and honestly some of the best I've had. We ordered the ceviche and it was to die for... so bright, refreshing, and absolutely yummy.I got the filet relleno, and wow it was incredibly moist, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. Our server, Edwin, was super helpful and attentive the entire time, which made the experience even better. The restaurant itself is spacious, making it a great spot for big groups or celebrations. And I have to mention their green drink it has spinach and it was surprisingly delicious. Overall, I absolutely love this place. Great food, great service, and only about 4 miles from Knott's -- perfect for a pre‑ or post‑park meal.

Ordered takeout, and even the presentation was great! They gave us complimentary chips, which were packed with flavor and so delicious. The red sauce enchiladas were filled with chicken and topped with a really flavorful red sauce. The shrimp wet burrito with green sauce was amazing--there was shrimp in every bite, and the tortilla was perfectly soft. The half-and-half asada burrito was also so, so good! The sauce had the perfect flavor, with meat, rice, and beans in every bite. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. We will definitely order again!

Eloisa is a amazing server, great service and amazing personality. The food is delicious! We came in not knowing they had a brunch buffet, and I have to say I ate 5 times! I had a variety of things and can't wait to come back and try new items. Amazing place 5/5 stars!

We had a wonderful experience! Our server Roger was awesome! The food and drinks were really good! Lots of seating inside and brunch on Sundays! Brunch is only $26 per person and $10 additional if you want bottomless mimosas. I loved their fajitas and their no alcoholic tamarindo fresca. The service was great and everyone was so friendly! I definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting yummy Mexican food!

Update 5.10.26 Mothers Day brunch buffet was packed! Food was running low by 10:30 but the kitchen and staff made sure all of the dishes were replenished. Such great staff that are accommodating and friendly. Didn't stay for the Mariachi band at 12 pm that was scheduled to play, maybe next time. But try out this neighborhood family friendly restaurant if you haven't yet.

We were in the mood for some home style tacos and I took to Yelp to find an authentic Mexican restaurant and came across this establishment. We arrived at 8:15pm and the place wasn't busy which was great!! The restaurant is lively with lots of TVs and colorful decor. We ordered tacos, al pastor, asada carnitas and taquitos w fresh guacamole. The tacos were good unfortunately not the best however the service was fantastic, friendly and quick. We will be back to try other dishes on the menu. My spicy cucumber margarita was delicious but it needed a bit more tequila... lol. We left happy and full. Highly recommended!

Was looking for a brunch buffet preferably, on a Sunday, and saw Dos Amigos on Yelp. We were in Anaheim and this restaurant wasn't too far away. Parking was pretty ample in this small strip mall. Once we got there, it totally looked mom & pop shop. We were excited that it was a brunch buffet and it was $26. Everything has become so expensive; and although $26 is a lot, it's better than so many other locations. Also, finding a brunch buffet has become harder lately. They had a great selection of Mexican brunch delicacies, and even tacos! We sat down immediately and the host was very friendly. The guy making tacos was also super friendly. Definitely seemed like a family owned business. I enjoyed the selection of buffet items; they even had strawberry tamales! One of my fav was the salsas and chips. They had pozole and menudo as soup options and ceviche. The dessert selection was nice too with a chocolate fountain and flan. I'd recommend trying this delicious spot, especially on a Sunday brunch! I love that they had a Christmas tree, too. Just in time for the holidays. The restaurant is located in a strip mall with ample parking.

From the sign as you enter, through the teeth, to the throaty-red textured walls, The Belly of the Beast encases guests in the whimsical journey down the whale's gullet. Who knew getting "swallowed" would be such fun? Keeping with the throaty theme, the space inside holds a few tables. It's an intimate space with ambient lighting and cheery Hawaiian/beach music. Puppets hang here and there, as well as other thematic, decorative details. My friend and I shared a few mouthwatering apps and imbibed a few delicious concoctions. Our wonderful bartender frim "outside" even came in with us, which made our experience even more personalized. We especially appreciated the complimentary shots! Our food was delicious and plentiful for apps: spam musubi, edamame, sliders, and shishito peppers. Now this is a big deal: my friend has celiac disease. She needs to be very cautious when ordering food. She self-advocates but much relies on the knowledge of servers. Our wonderful bartender, now our server, was very diligent and knowledgeable, and double checked ingredients with the chefs. Accommodations were made. Good times rolled on! Extra heaps of thanks on that! We fully enjoyed every minute of our (generous+) 90 minute time slot here. The service was amazing, the food delicious, and the cocktails made with magic. It was worth the drive, and one I'll gladly make again at next opportunity.

Brodie was on his game all night with drink recommendations, food suggestions and just being a great host for our table. This was our first time to TBotB, so we're went sure what to expect, but we've been to Stowaway many times. The only knock I had with it was the selection of cocktails is limited. While I understand TBotB is it's own thing separate from Stowaway, I wish you could get some of the drinks from there. Most of the cocktails we had were good (but I'm not sure I'd order them again), but the menu had a number of drinks I won't order, they're just not my style. We missed being able to get some of our favorites from Stowaway. We ended up getting a table at Stowaway after our time was up in TBotB anyway because we were having a good time so that was fun. All in all, I think next time we'll stick with Stowaway and sitting at the bar. At least we can check TBotB off our list. It's worth checking out for sure, but for me I enjoy the more classic tiki cocktails. It's fun to venture off the beaten path once in a while.

Also, the seaweed salad was an interesting addition. We were not fans of this. 2/5 FRENCH FRIES ($8.40) - they have different seasonings and we chose the Cajun one. We liked that they were skinny fries and they were addicting. I especially liked the spicy aioli dipping sauce. 4.5/5 GARLIC NOODLES SHRIMP ($23.10) - we thought it could've been saltier and used more garlic. The shrimp add-on was $12.60 which was not really worth for 5 pieces of shrimp. They were big pieces of shrimp though although not the easiest to peel. 2.5/5 ANGUS BEEF RIBEYE ($50) - this was cooked well and had good flavor. It came with mushrooms, asparagus, and a dipping sauce that we didn't care for. We would've liked some flaky sea salt on top to add more savoriness. 4/5 For drinks, the aum fashioned ($16) was a standard old fashioned and the heart shaker ($13) was pretty good. We had dinner to go to so unfortunately we couldn't order too much. I would have loved to order more food! We ended up ordering the following: - Chili crunch burrata: This is chef's kiss. I love burrata in general and it was so unique to have chili crisp mixed with the burrata. The pickled shallot provided a nice balance. I loved the Chinese donut to eat with the burrata. It was hot and fresh, and contrasted very nicely with the burrata. I really wished they gave a bit more Chinese donut so that the ratio of cheese to dip was better. We really had to eat a LOT of cheese to go with the Chinese donut we had left. The hostess said this was also one of her favorite dishes. - Chicken cartilage with Mala BBQ spice: This was surprisingly meatier than I thought (thought there would be more cartilage). It was deep fried and the mala dip was spicy, as promised! - Stir fried ong choy with garlic (not part of happy hour): This was solid, and they gave a generous amount of ong choy. Service was very friendly at the front and when they served our food. The restaurant is beautiful, and feels upscale. It is nice enough for entertaining guests and for dates. Recently added cocktails: Buzzin' Jungle Bird (Jamaican gold rum, coffee infused campari, dark rum, pineapple, lime, hemp orgeat, cane, Angostura bitters). This is a great spin on a jungle bird, with some complexity and coffee flavor. I'm usually not a big fan of coffee, but it is at a good level. Chi Chi (Whey vodka, pineapple, lime, date, honey, coconut, salt). This has a great creamy texture which I believe comes from the dairy component of the whey vodka. It is well balanced with some sweetness, and I could taste the coconut and date flavors. Lapu Lapu (Asian rum, Jamaican rum, dry curacao, lime, orgeat, demerara). It is juicy, well balanced, and served with a flaming sugar cube on top. This is the cocktail they chose to serve at their booth at Tiki Oasis recently which says a lot, try it! Thai Me Down (Barbados rum, coconut liqueur, papaya, lemon, demerara, Thai basil). It is served old-fashioned style, and was light and perfectly balanced. Those Thai inspired flavors were all noticeable. Demerara Dry Float. They added and took this one off the menu as of now. It was a balanced light citrusy drink which was served with a delicious sidecar of Hamilton 151 rum infused with banana chips. I sipped half of that and mixed the rest into the cocktail. It was served with a beautiful ice shell. I'm guessing it was too labor intensive, and took up a lot of space in their freezers. Recently added food: Ahi Poke Nachos (marinated ahi tuna, masago, avocado, cucumber, spicy mayo, furikake, green onion). This is such a tasty starter with so many textures and flavors. I love that the nachos are wontons too, and not just chips. Crab & Cream cheese wontons. Nice crisp wontons with a good amount of crab and cream cheese inside. The chili sauce and spicy mayo adds another layer of flavor, and there is a slice of jalapeno on top for a little heat. Pan-Seared Scallops. This was an excellent lighter entrée. The four scallops are cooked perfectly, and even have a little dollop of caviar on top. I liked the mix of veggies and really liked the bed of potato puree underneath. Steak & Eggs (8oz hanger steak, crying tiger glaze, Nam Jim Jaew sauce, sunny eggs, rice). I normally wouldn't try steak & eggs for dinner, but I can't resist a good hanger steak. It was cooked a perfect medium rare and I appreciate that it was pre-sliced. The crying tiger glaze and sauce were so flavorful. There's plenty of rice to soak up any left egg yolk or sauce. Recently added desserts: Dubai Chocolate Lava Cake. This was excellent, but it's definitely sweet and rich. Save some room if you plan on ordering this. Ube Flan Cake. I'm usually not a fan of flan, but I have to try anything with ube and this was good. The cake had nice ube flavor, and I liked that the flan was a little firm since the looser custardy/gelatinous texture is not for me. This is definitely a lighter dessert than the lava cake. It's not a new drink, but I also had the Naval Grog for the first time. (Lost Voyage rum, overproof white rum, allspice dram, lime, grapefruit, demerara, honey). It is boozy with nice spice notes. Other repeat cocktails enjoyed were Tales from the Black Lagoon (my favorite), Missionary's Downfall, Agave Parrot, Singapore Sling, and Serpents Grasp all of which are excellent. Their cocktails, food, ambiance, and service are always top notch. Thank you Ying, Erica, Greg, Jordan, Joey, Iris, Karen, Kyle, Joy, and John for your wonderful hospitality during our visits. There is also another smaller bar area behind closed doors that give speak easy vibes. I'm not sure how or if this place accommodates big groups as the tables are good for maybe 4-6 people. I'd definitely come back her
