Wow! What an amazing Mexican restaurant here in Stanton! I truly enjoyed my enchiladas here. I got both cheese and shredded beef and they were both perfect. They're generous with the beef and sides that include rice and beans and a small salad. My father and brother enjoyed their Carne Asada plates, and I stole a bite, and the Asada was perfectly cooked and tender (not chewy). Service was great! Very friendly staff and cleanliness environment. I'm looking forward to coming back!!! read more

Celebrated Cinco de Mayo at Dos Amigos with my dad and had such an amazing experience. Even though it was one of their busiest days of the year, the service was absolutely incredible from start to finish. You could truly feel the heart behind this family-owned business with how welcoming, attentive, and hardworking everyone was all night long. The food was outstanding, the drinks were flowing, and the passion fruit margarita was seriously a 10/10... easily one of the best margaritas I've ever had. Everything came out fresh, flavorful, and made with care despite how packed the restaurant was. Huge shoutout to the entire Dos Amigos team for making Cinco de Mayo feel so fun and special. So yummy! Went to dinner with the family and it was the perfect spot. It was seat yourself and they had live music going, I will say it was a little hard to hear because the music was really loud but he was playing some good songs so I was okay with it. For my meal I got a pineapple margarita, it was the perfect balance of sweetness and the tajin rim was so delicious. I also go the beef birria burrito traditional style and it was sooo flavorful, it came with the cheese oozing out of it. We ordered the ceviche and it was to die for... so bright, refreshing, and absolutely yummy.I got the filet relleno, and wow it was incredibly moist, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. Update 5.10.26 Mothers Day brunch buffet was packed! Food was running low by 10:30 but the kitchen and staff made sure all of the dishes were replenished. Such great staff that are accommodating and friendly. Didn't stay for the Mariachi band at 12 pm that was scheduled to play, maybe next time. We were in the mood for some home style tacos and I took to Yelp to find an authentic Mexican restaurant and came across this establishment. We arrived at 8:15pm and the place wasn't busy which was great!! The restaurant is lively with lots of TVs and colorful decor. We ordered tacos, al pastor, asada carnitas and taquitos w fresh guacamole. The tacos were good unfortunately not the best however the service was fantastic, friendly and quick. Was looking for a brunch buffet preferably, on a Sunday, and saw Dos Amigos on Yelp. We were in Anaheim and this restaurant wasn't too far away. Parking was pretty ample in this small strip mall. Once we got there, it totally looked mom & pop shop. We were excited that it was a brunch buffet and it was $26. Everything has become so expensive; and although $26 is a lot, it's better than so many other locations. Also, finding a brunch buffet has become harder lately. They had a great selection of Mexican brunch delicacies, and even tacos! We sat down immediately and the host was very friendly. The guy making tacos was also super friendly. Definitely seemed like a family owned business. I enjoyed the selection of buffet items; they even had strawberry tamales! One of my fav was the salsas and chips. They had pozole and menudo as soup options and ceviche. The dessert selection was nice too with a chocolate fountain and flan. I'd recommend trying this delicious spot, especially on a Sunday brunch! Dos Amigos is a restaurant very close to home. I have to admit, the first time I went, I wasn't impressed with the food. But over the years, they've definitely improved. The drinks are phenomenal,their strawberry skinny margaritas are some of the best I've ever had. Already, I highly recommend coming just for the drinks.The location is also perfect if you want to grab drinks after dinner, since it's right next to a bar. As for the food, I tried the birria, and it was good. I do wish they offered homemade tortillas, though, and the rice was a little undercooked if I'm being honest, that's the only reason I'm not giving a full five stars.Overall, though, great experience, excellent customer service, and a really friendly staff. This is a nice and cozy place to enjoy dinner. We made last minute reservations and the person who answered was friendly and accommodating. Once we arrived, we were greeted by friendly staff and quickly seated at the reserved booth. No pictures to show, it the camarones à la diabla were delicious and good portions. The ceviche was good, but it was missing something. I added more lime which helped. The crab in the ceviche is imitation crab.. I didn't like it that much. I ordered the tacos sarandeados with steak, and honestly they were incredible. The steak was so tender and flavorful it almost tasted like wagyu. Perfectly cooked, juicy, and packed with flavor. You can tell they really care about the quality of the food. Everything came out fresh, the portions were great, and the seasoning on the tacos was on point. My colleagues and I were at a conference, near the convention center. I wasn't interested in eating at any of the tourist traps near there, so we turned to Yelp for recommendations. I used to drive through Stanton, all the time, when I worked at Disneyland, so I knew there would be some good mom-and-pop places there. Dos Amigos called out to us. I'm glad we listened! The walls have some vibrant murals. I had to take a picture! There are screens showing food porn. I didn't pay attention to them until after I ordered. I wish I had looked first because those nachos look like a plate of joy. One colleague got seafood enchiladas. Once she got her plate, she got real quiet as she ate. She said they were excellent. I can't remember what my other colleague ordered, but she said it was good. I got the carnitas plate. When I first saw them, I was thinking they looked undercooked. But, then I took a bite and immediately, I was transported to my abuelita's humble kitchen. The carnitas were flavorful and soft. I added some of the spicy salsa that was on the table. That elevated them. The waiter asked me if I wanted more tortillas. No one does that anymore! The refried beans were fantastic. The ladies both got agua de tamarindo. I asked for a Diet Coke and a water. My DC was a can; not my favorite. But, I didn't ask if they had fountain drinks, so that is my fault. The aguas and my water were served in huge mugs. Our waiter gave great recommendations. He was helpful and checked on us, but wasn't obtrusive. Music was a great mix of rock en español and English rock, like Green Day. First Off the staff were so welcoming and attentive. I appreciated that staff Edwin would check in with us and make sure we had all that we needed. The food was very good, i ordered the fajitas plate, the steak and chicken came out so soft, the shrimp had a marinade that was so good. Also ordered margarita flight, the lime and tamarind flavor were my favorite. The restaurant was busy but not to busy we went around 7-8pm and were able to sit where we wanted. The bar area was the first thing we walked in on and it was very clean and organized. We enjoyed looking at the alebrijes painted on the walls, music was playing but not loud enough we couldn't hear each other which I thought was great. The flavor was perfect. Wrapped with tortillas, the dish was perfect! The drinks were made pretty strong but still had a nice margaritas taste. Service 5/5: The service was top tier, the guys there are very quick and attentive! They are accommodating as well, helping out with recommendations and answering questions.
