Great tacos but do yourself a favor and get the mixto
    Vu N.

Stopped by for some taco Tuesday. 2 dollar tacos and they are huge. I wish I asked for single tortilla. Got myself 3 tacos. Carnitas. Mixto carnitas that has the skin in it. And a pork belly. All really good. But definitely go with the mixto. By far my fav. Definitely a good spot. And they sell by the pound that is reasonable priced. Nice hidden gem

Met up with some friends to try the carnitas and let me tell you they were so delicious. Service was amazing, plenty of parking. Can't go wrong eating here. I will be back to try the menudo because I heard it's also delicious! Ambience was great and they were playing the soccer game!

Small hole in the wall place.. used to be another Mexican spot. I hadn't tried this since it doesnt catch ur attention if you drive by and see it.. my friend told me they had weekly specials and it was good. Was definitely worth it! Got combo #1 de carnitas to share. Very filling was enough for two of us. Comes w pico, salsa and tortillas. Carnitas were so good. I love the cueritos. A must try ! I'll be back for sure Only thing I didn't like was the agua de piña But they have many options. Beer too

Ok guys I'm about to put you on to one of my favorite place / an amazing carnitas spot you'll ever find. Me and my family have been coming to this spot for a couple years now but never actual did a review and it's time. The taste of the food comes first, you'll be craving this on a weekend after cleaning the house or on a random Tuesday. The taste is so authentic and rich it just does it for me. It was a Saturday when I came in and it was fairly busy but was super easy to order. They have combo if you want to get it with tortillas, pico, and salsa. If you want the meats just by the pound they also do that and you could just get sides for additional. We usually do tortillas by hand at home so I didn't do the combo this time. I ordered 2 pounds de buche and 2 pounds of carnitas. Salsa came on the side for that and just added a pico. The person taking my order was super nice. The workers are very genuine and know what they're doing. If you come in on a weekend they have menudo which is very popular and usually runs out. Parking is very easy to find if not you could always park on the street. Inside vibes are absolutely great for me with good music, they sell alcohol if you want to buy some, and serve some pretty amazing food opinions. If your trying to pick up to go I would recommend calling so your order could be ready when you get there. This place is a must try overall!! Check them out.

I should've taken a picture before I started devouring this plate but this is the to go spot for carnitas. These aren't your ordinary street tacos. These are fatty tacos delicious !!! As soon as you walk into the building you can see the workers on the side making the plates of food. The restaurant looks small but there's extra seating on the side.

I came here recently with my family hoping to have a tasty carnitas lunch. There is plenty of parking out front, indoor seating and a bathroom. The person at the counter was friendly and answered our questions. The restaurant was empty when we arrived but we decided to give it a chance. My husband ordered a carnitas taco, my daughter and I both ordered carnitas tortas and a Jamaica agua fresca. We got our food pretty quickly after we ordered. That was the good news. Bad news... my daughter and I couldn't eat our food because the tops of the torta bread was very moldy like green spots not quite science experiment but still moldy. I gave the tortas back and we got a refund. The person behind the counter offered to make us something else but tbh we lost our appetite after seeing the moldy bread also didn't want to take a chance on something else. Maybe it was a bad day but I am not sure I will be coming back. My mom ate here on the same day also had tacos and she felt ill afterwards, said the food tasted like the oil had been used too many times.

This place has perfected the carnitas. They only serve carnitas and it doesn't disappoint. The tacos already have a kick to it so adding the salsa is at your discretion. Two tacos was filling enough with great flavors that pretty much made me think about getting one more taco because whyyy not?! The restaurant isn't that big and in my opinion is really meant for take out and quick eats. Service was fast and easy so no complaints there.

    1. The carnitas were delicious, and it definitely goes well with the beans and rice! 2. The spot has fun casual vibes with a main seating area as well as a back sitting area! 3. The staff were friendly and quick with my order! It took 5 mins! 4. Parking is limited with signs for reserved parking and no-overnight parkings! Note: They have a single bathroom! I do like coming here for Taco Tuesday. Getting carnitas tacos. They usually don't the green sauce but today they did which was awesome. Hopefully they have it more often. The tacos are delicious. Lastly before I left, the guy noticed he over charged us and give us the correct change. That was really nice of him to notice and to correct the mistake. Thank you!

The 2 guys behind the counter and in the small cooking area on Sundays are great. The best four items to get when coming here is the fish tacos, ther machaca burrito, the shredded beef hardshell tacos, and their carnitas sopes. Their refried beans in the machaca burritos are similar to the pureed type of beans and really make the burrito. You gotta eat it there and definitely put their taco sauce from the squeeze bottle on your food. It has the right kick and flavor that enhances everything. The food always comes out fresh and hot. I can't speak for the other food items. The four items we usually order is tried and true.

Live very close, tried it, Solid!…read more I was hungry and a fish and shrimp taco are BIG! As their menu explicitly states, and they are priced accordingly, around 5-5.50 each. I got fish, shrimp, and a potato taco since supposedly that was good too, it was very crispy and flavorful, my favorite though is from The Corner in HB for a mashed potato taco ;) SHRIMP: think this was primo - shrimp felt warm, big, juicy, flavorful, there was hotsauce on it as the menu states iirc. Might consider getting TWO of these instead of the fish. FISH: solid! Comparable to the ensenada fish tacos in fullerton I think? Or maybe that one is slightly better, been awhile. Overall - solid spot, not the cheapest but the quality is good and they don't skimp on protein. Not as good as tacos los cholos but that's further away, this is next door and again - they specialize in different meats!

Decided to drop in and was delighted to know their Taco Tuesday special is $1 street tacos for a select handful of 8 protein fillings and $2 for 6 other choices. Even their regular price is still very reasonable. There was definitely a line around 6pm but it moved quickly. Love that they also have a self service taco condiments bar and area on the side of their truck where you can top your food with the freshly sliced or pickled veggies/chilis and slather on various taco sauces to your heart's content. Especially loved that they use a rotating gyro style meat grill for some of their meats. I also noticed they had another truck/van parked nearby where one of the staff would go to replenish some of their supplies for their taco truck. What an efficient way to keep up with demand by having a mobile/secondary vehicle that you can use for storage of stock to keep up with the high demand. I loved all the street tacos that I tried: carnitas, fried fish filet, al pastor, carne asada. Flavorful and done right! Definitely recommend this spot any day of the week when they're open, but especially for their Taco Tuesday specials.
