Ehhhh... I really wanted to like this place. This sushi food truck has been bookmarked on my Yelp for quite some time. Especially being that it's so close by. I finally had the chance to try it. It's a food truck located in a liquor store parking lot with plenty of parking. They have chairs & tables set up outside so you can enjoy your food. The man taking/making our order was very kind & friendly. He even ensured to repeat my order back to make sure everything we got correct. It's a one man show, so expect a bit of delay. We ordered & he stated it'd be ready in 25mins. Let me start off by saying I love supporting small businesses. We're always open to trying new street vendors or any small business we find appealing. My 3/5 rating is solely due to the food alone. Everything else met my standards as far as customer service, cleanliness (from outside view), sit down dining option, etc. & the wait was a bit long, but I'm understanding. We ordered tons of stuff & it was just one person running the show. It is a bit on the pricier sides. Rolls were going from $15-$18. All the prices are marked off on the menus. I'm sure because of price increases from inflation. We ordered: spicy garlic edamame, jalapeno poppers, orange chicken plate, mango habanero roll, & the super roll. Which came out to a total of $67. I love edamame & it's a must to get anywhere it's available. I appreciate the spicy garlic edamame was super saucy & had tons of garlic. But it was a bit salty for my liking. The jalapeno poppers tasted like any other jalapeno poppers anywhere else. I do appreciate the jalapenos were huge & there was a lot of imitation crab. The orange chicken, I had a small bite but I can't recall my opinion so I won't speak on it. The super roll was very bland & did not have any flavor whatsoever. The star of the show was the mango habanero roll. I asked him for the spiciest roll in which he recommended the mango habanero. The spice was there & had a kick in it. That was about it though. Nothing to wow us. Overall, I probably wouldn't be coming back. But I am glad I gave this business a try & it is now crossed off my Yelp bucket list of must-try's. I also wanted to add; this man did NOT skimp! Portions were big, he was not stingy with sauces. He packed me loads of sauces without me needing to ask him. So, A+ to him for that. read more

I would say hole in the wall but it's a food truck in a Liquor store parking lot and it's a pretty good spot. Fusion sushi rolls were pretty good tasting but a little pricey and a little small. They were cut into real small pieces like 16 pieces so easily shareable. The chicken fried rice is pretty tasty as well, a good filler with plenty of chicken. This One man operation-took order, cooked, bagged up and everything Friendly and as fast and efficient as could be. Nice food truck and good sushi for the location. I wouldn't expect any authenticity in these rolls as they are a fusion of Mexican flavors but they execute it pretty well. I originally came for the tacos next door but my boyfriend wanted sushi so we got both! Majority of their rolls are salmon, shrimp, and krab but only 1-2 things with tuna. I do like salmon though and we got a Kimono Roll. If you're not feeling sushi they do cooked items like orange chicken, katsu, yakisoba, rice, and teriyaki. The roll was great! There were lots of jalapeños on the side and the presentation was neat. I did not like the wasabi at all as it tasted very strange. Everything I've tried on their menu turns out so good. It comes out to about $30-$45 whenever I come here but that's usually because we order 2-3 rolls and my hubby loves their sushi burritos. They have tables with seats but we like to take our sushi to go. They're open till 8pm but keep in mind they stop taking orders at 7:30. There's always parking and you can walk into the liquor store to buy your drinks. The staff is always nice and they always have good music playing in the background. read more

Ordered online yesterday for the first time and it did not disappoint! I didn't realize it was a food truck until we arrived to pick up the food. The wait was a bit longer than usual but understandable based on the amount of orders they had. We tried the Shrimp Noodles, Jalapeño Poppers, Mexico City Roll, Mar Y Tierra Roll and the Kari's Roll. I had see people post this place and I knew I definitely had to try it. The cashier was friendly and did give us some suggestions being that it was our first time here. It did take a bit to get our order, but we didn't mind. I don't recall the exact names of the items but it was more or so: hot cheetos roll, mango tempura roll and a sushi burrito. If a Mexican restaurant and a sushi restaurant slammed together, this place would be the outcome! UberEats keeps sending me coupons... so I saw this place with a 5-star rating... decided to give them a try tonight. I had a ton of rolls I wanted to try but opt for the Shrimp Tempura Deep Fried Roll (first time trying deep fried sushi) and the Crunchy Avocado Roll. All rolls were relatively the same price on UberEats site. I asked for sauce on the side as the last note and not on the items themselves because I know how messy it can get, but it was packaged tightly and they did add the sauce with extra sauce on the side. Surprisingly it wasn't soggy! Bonuses points! Let me start by saying, my deep fried roll was hot when it arrived, hot while eating and one of the best rolls I think I've had. There was a level of spice that filled my entire mouth... it didn't have the "spicy" label but it hit the spot. The avocado roll was suppose to be my refreshing roll (but I like it crunchy) and it was tightly packed as well. Definitely recommend eating the deep fried roll first... because when it does get cold, it has a whole other taste... I can't wait to try other rolls from this place! Good sushi and stuffed jalapeños my go to! The price is fair for the amount of food more than enough. It comes out fresh and warm.
