It has everything that you need wrapped into a beautiful tortilla. Your meat of choice (gotta go al pastor when you see a trompo like that...), actually FLAVORFUL beans and rice, melty cheese, and onions are all tucked away in a nice blanket. If you're driving home with this thing riding shot gun like I was, be prepared for it to be a bit messy, but that's a part of the experience. They also have all of the accoutrements outside of you want more onions, cilantro, or a combo of their exquisite salsas. I caught up with Bikelava at the Des Moines Farmer's Market which was also the site of SeattleFoodTruck's Truck-In event earlier today. First, the man and woman who were there taking orders and cashiering were super friendly! I enjoy people that engage with their customers. Second, although they didn't have pistachio today (they make it!), they did have walnut and chocolate almond hazelnut. I am not a huge fan of walnut since I have discovered other flavors. I got the chocolate almond hazelnut. The baklava was beautiful! I love pretty food almost as much as I enjoy eating it (almost). The layers were flaky and filled with sweet, nutty, chocolately, hazelnutty goodness. Yes, those are all words. I enjoyed every bite and at $3 a piece, honestly, it's a steal.
